I've always taken my cars here FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS now. I would go straight to Manny for any of my problems. He always hooks it up. I've never had any issues with his service. Always honest and reliable when I need him. The price of an Oil Change on my types of cars has always run more than $130+ it being a V8 Luxury Sedan and requiring Synthetic Oil. Manny has always hooked me up under a bill easy! Try going to the Dealer and get taken up the ass with a $500 oil change with flushes that I don't need. Manny once lent me his own personal truck because I had to leave my car there unexpectedly. I was referred to him by Party Bus Entertainment/ KMFG IND. I recently had an entire engine rebuilt at this Midas. It was for a 2008 Toyota Matrix, and I must say, these guys are the best. Everything went off without a hitch, and their expertise is unparalleled. I am so stoked that Manny Jr will be working at this Midas now. Manny Sr. and Manny Jr. are seriously the best in the industry. They know how to take care of a customer, and every time I need anything for my cars, they hit it out of the park. Every single time. I have never had a more friendly and professional experience with any other shop. I have had two engines rebuilt in two separate cars, and both ended up flawless, they kept my Mitsubishi Montero running strong for well over 300,000 miles, and my 2010 Hyundai Tucson has over 150,000 miles and is still running flawlessly. Manny and his installation technician did an outstanding job in replacing the muffler on my 1986 Nissan 300 ZX which was done at no charge under the Midas Lifetime Warranty! Called me after I left a request for an appointment, and told me the best time to come in to avoid a long wait for the job to be done, and called me when the muffler he ordered arrived at his shop. This is the ONLY place I bring my car. I've been bringing my 08' Mercedes C300 here for over 4 years now. I trust Manny, and his staff is always very polite and informative. I bring my car here for all of it's needs- tires, brakes or A1/ B1 services. I've shopped around and the pricing at this location is very competitive if not cheaper. I've never felt like they tried to oversell me on anything, on the contrary they tell me if I can hold off on anything for a few weeks/months before it really needs to be addressed, this is something I really appreciate because it gets expensive!! I really like the life time warrantees they offer too! .. Plain and simple, no one likes getting repairs done on their cars. It's never an enjoyable experience, but I can say the staff and environment at this Midas are great--very friendly and eager to help. Every repair that needed to be fixed was throughly explained to me by having the mechanic physically show me each area that needed work. I got an oil change a few weeks ago and was told by a mechanic at a different company that my breaks needed to be replaced, but when I went to this Midas, they told me I could go another 10,000 miles. I appreciated their honesty, instead of just trying to add-on another repair for extra profit. The waiting area in spacious and not over-crowded. I would recommend! read more

That's right ,they rip u off there! I had a coupon for a low price oil change, they sold me on a air filter, the filter was 35 dollars, they said it would help give clean fresh air in the car or me and my child. So I paid the money, on my next oil change I went to where I normally go, they said do u want a new air filter, I said no I just got one my last oil change, but my mechanic said no it had just been cleaned and turned over, he brought it out to show me, it was completely dirty, and I was given the old one as proof and saw my mechanic install a new air filter. The car ride was cleaner and fresher. Do not go to midas, they are dirty, fishy and shaddy, zero stars is better read more

I took my Honda Civic to Midas on Monday. I have taken my car to so many different places and I finally took it in to Midas. I discovered I've been driving around with parts missing in my car, nothing working, AC messed up, over-heating, broken doors, you name it. They took the time to really look at car and not only properly diagnose it, but fix it completely and without robbing me blind. I went in thinking it was one thing, and they found out what the real issues were, including issues I was unaware of. The level of expertise and customer service shown here goes above and beyond what you would expect to see anywhere else. I came here for an aliment and they could not get it 100 percent correct because of camber. But they did not try to sell me more stuff. Also I had a Bolt I could not seem to fit so they tried for 20 minutes and three machanics helped put it in. They worked together to do it and did not give up. Also they did not charge me for the work. I definitely recommend these guys. read more

My first time was September 2013 afer leaving the Honda dealership which was asking for some $300 to do my brakes. Midas replaced them for under $200. I went back today for an oil change- semi synthetic oil, tire rotation (free with oil change), ac and cabin air filter change all for $85. The service is great and they didn't try to push any other services on me. So far so good hopefully it will stay this way. read more

PLEASE READ!! I when in to this Midas to had an oil change on my Audi TT and it was very pricey anyways so I payed, A day later the cover from the bottom if my car dropped while I was driving on the freeway I almost crashed so AI pulled over to the side and all this rocks and trash started to hit my car do to the plastic cover picking up all the rocks and trash so one of this lil rocks hit my windshield and did a Lil Crack like a line so I was very mad so I drove to midas in la puente I had to take the streets and drive very slow cause the cover was falling so when I got there I told them that they did not put the cover correctly and that it came of in the freeway I have pics of this incident so the manager took a look at it and started to ask my if I was off road or what very unprofessional rude comments I couldn't believe it cause when I came in there were all nice. So I responded how the hell was I going to offroad with this car so from that point I got nothing but rude comments from the manager I was just in shock I also told him that when I pulled over on the side of the freeway a rock hit my windshield and did a Lil Crack witch is a line on the windshield so he told me how in the world is that going to happened that it was impossible. ..By that time I was very mad and I told him do you see all the rocks that my car collected in under the cover and he said yes but what does that have to do with your windshield I am telling you this people are ok and generous when they do the work and charge but something happens they are totally something different I have never left a bad review anywhere but this people treated me like trash and they also told me that they would not cover my windshield that it was a lie.... I will never ever go back to this dam place two faces people sucks cause the manager is Mexican also am I. Normally I only write bad reviews but in this case I was pleasantly surprized, I had already checked my catalictic converter and it was bad from a simple $12 dollar test with a tempeture gage, they took care of it in record time, shown me the bad one and explained why it was bad, no question asked, I do not consider 2 hours long for the cutting and the welding to replace the old unit, they were honest, upfront, they looked the car underside over very carefully and told me I had a oil leak in my transmission seal, I knew that. The cost was well under $350 but this is not a cheap job to have done. As with any auto shop or repair service, it's best to know what you need. Total rip off. Do not step one foot in this shop. Over priced, lies, lies, lies. They say that One expensive part needs to be fixed, then, they fix things you never asked to be fixed. They actually break things in your car and then try to charge you to fix them. I know this sounds incredible, but it's true. Midas on Valley Blvd in La Puente, CA, DO NOT ENTER. I spent about $2,300 on an item that the never fixed. I took the car to another little shop who fixed the problem by cleaning a gasket... car works now for a $50 charge at a small shop. read more
