She had a recent oil change out of state but it recently started leaking. Jerrica and Ronnie were honest and just changed the filter and topped off the oil, no charge. Not too shocking there were not up front about the price. I was told one price by them when I checked in and told nothing about all of their additional fees. I even said so the final price will be "xx"? They confirmed and mentioned only additional quarts of oil. Return and all sorts of added fees no mention of and they just say sorry! Really disappointing experience as I just decided to stop in being convenient. Definitely won't be returning and would make sure you clarify price before they do any work. I had an oil change done today. After I left my skid plate began dragging on the street. This is the second time grease monkey has left me with this issue. I also received no information about the "inspection" they say that perform with oil changes. The most alarming thing about the whole situation was that the manager told me she has to call the cops A LOT for these kind of situations. Definitely alarming. When I asked if they had cameras to see if my car did come in that way, she AVOIDED the question every time... Weird. The staff at this particular Grease Monkey is fabulous! I showed up right when they opened and was greeted with very friendly faces. They identified my brake light was out and were able to fix it. (I had taken it to 2 mechanics prior with no luck) He took the time to show me exactly what he did and explain if it stops working again what to do. Then they also fixed my rear wiper fluid hose - both issues were diagnosed and fixed very quickly. Not being a car person I very much appreciated the simplified explanations and demos. BEWARE: MANAGER IS VIOLENT WITH ANGER ISSUES. Upon taking my vehicle to real mechanic it was discovered that store #702 had damaged my vehicle to the point of needing a new oil pan. The 'manager' Dymin Harris, assured my wife all we needed to do was to bring it in and it would be fixed that day, and if the part was not in stock "...we will run down to O'Reilly's and get it....no problem". Once we arrived he immediately backtracked. He began raising his voice to my wife as soon as she reminded him of his previous statements over the phone. At that point I stopped him and reminded him that we were upset that his location damaged our vehicle, and he had absolutely NO reason to be raising his voice to us. He immediately became thuggish and confrontational, stating "I've dealt with people like you...I'm not from around here! It's not going to end the way you think!" I told him several times "just check it and get it fixed, and we'll be on our way", and each time I walked away he would yell at me to "CALM DOWN". When I turned around and told him "Do not yell at me to calm down", he rushed up to me, got within 2 inches of my face and began threatening me, to the point where one of his employees had to physically remove him. I called Drew the owner of the location to inform him of his managers behavior, and was immediately brushed off. Although I have been going to Grease Monkey for decades, and had gone specifically to this location for the last 10 years, I was told "Well...he's been here for 14". I told Drew that didn't excused his behavior, and was told there were cameras all over the building and "...they will be reviewed", and he would get back to me. I've sent message to corporate (ALL of which I find are routed to Drew) as well as calling...and still have not received any response. It took bringing our vehicle in twice for several hours for them to finish the "half an hour of labor" we were originally told. The Asst Manager Kimie did freely disclose that "Dymin will go off on customers if he feels he's being disrespected. I've seen him get in altercations with customers before. It isn't the first time he's had altercations with customers...and it WON'T be the last." THIS LOCATION IS NOT QUALIFIED TO CHANGE OIL. AND THE MANAGERS THUGGISH BEHAVIOR IS ACKNOWLEDGED AND ACCEPTED. Due to the Complete lack of accountability from Corporate, I will never set foot in this or ANY other Grease Monkey. read more

Saved the day!!! My headlight went out while here for vacation and these guys saved us after two other shops told us they didn't have the time or staff to replace my headlight on my Terrain. Not only did they fix the headlight, they also replaced my back windshield wiper I've had a hard time replacing and did it all in TWENTY minutes and at a reasonable price! Thank you Grease Moneky!!! Update: after this review: I received a call from Dymin asking for clarification. I explained my issue and he explained company policy with my transmission on my first vehicle and apologized for the lack of communication with my 2nd vehicle. I appreciate that he went above and beyond to make sure my issues were addressed and took care of my recommended services. 2 very frustrating experiences. I have been going to this location since they opened. Brought in one vehicle about a month ago and was told by Dymin that my transmission would be going out soon because the fluid was too old and he refused to service it. Took it to my mechanic and he said the transmission was in great shape and did the service that GM would not due. Recently took another car in and told the attendant that there was recommendations from my last visit that I would like to address this time. He told me that Dymin would go over the recommendations again and we could discuss which ones to complete first. After 30 minutes, I was called to pay. At no point was there any check in. The procedure used to be that no matter who you were you got a check in from one of the techs to let you know the status of your vehicle and all recommended services. The customer service has really dropped at this location which is making me consider other options. read more

Grease Monkey highlands ranch/ broadway&highlands ranch pkwy. What a difference from the last time I was there. The gentleman (regrettably didn't get his name) must be a manager. And he is doing a awesome job! I heard him tell his staff(very nicely) to wash the windows, even if they look clean...etc. He and ALL the staff there did such a good job! Both of the women and the other gentleman were so nice to me and were never condescending. All seemed happy to be there. Most importantly they did an excellent job with my car !!! I have always liked this location when I'm in Colorado. Competent, no pressure, fast. However, this time a woman who seemed to be in charge insisted I needed my transmission serviced. I told her it had only been about 40,000 miles but she said I still need it, which I declined. Every customer who came in after me, I head her telling them they needed their transmission serviced. Clearly a big push to sell a high-ticket service. It made me reconsider going back again. read more

Kathleen at the front desk is so very nice she has the best customer service and I mean they get you in and out I was able to go on my lunch and go to Safeway and come back within 40 minutes and my car was completely done. They even vacuumed and top off all your fluids they provide great service make sure you go on their website and print out current special coupons. Get those savings!!!! read more

Just the facts: took my Mazda CX-5 here for oil change and tire rotation. Tire rotation was good - no problem. The oil pan bolt has a gasket that apparently fell off due to the fact that it was cracked by over-tightening the bolt which then leaves the bolt hand-tight and leaking oil. I also noticed when I looked underneath there was a skid plate that was not replaced. The skid plate covers the oil pan and oil filter. I discovered this because my work parking spot had a soccer-ball sized oil leak when I walked up to my car and my garage had a similar sized leak when I pulled in to park. I called the business and Dymon told me to bring it in and we could look at the video. Since I wasn't sure the skid plate was in place before bringing it in, I was hoping to see the video. When I arrived, they immediately took my car in and looked underneath. No skid plate but they did have a skid plate that fit so they put it on my car. They checked the oil level (it was good) and replaced the gasket. Dymon explained that the gaskets do crack from time to time and to just bring it in if it happens again. I was not angry nor emotional through all of this. Mostly, I was concerned. They fixed everything that was wrong and gave me a 50% off next service coupon. May or may not return. read more

We have been going to the Grease Monkey located at 9293 S Broadway, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129 for over 20 years. The service has been incredible up to about a year ago. I'm not sure if they had a new ownership change or not. About a year ago, I took my 3-year-old SUV into Grease Monkey to get an oil change. The next day I noticed I had a huge oil leak mess on my garage floor. I took it back, and they tighten up the oil filter, and they would not come and clean the oil mess from the leak on my garage floor, but offered to give me something to clean the oil spill which never worked very well. So much for a clean garage floor. I figured I would give them another chance since I've been doing business there for over 20 years. However, this time it was worse. Since, I wasn't driving the SUV, and my wife was, I noticed the oil filter was leaking again, and since we had some other stuff done to it, based on their recommendation, there was another oil leak coming from the center of the SUV. My wife took it in, and they told her, that they tighten the oil filter, and that any more oil drippings would be normal for another week or so. She brought the car home, and I notice that the oil filter wasn't leaking any more, however, the center of the SUV was still leaking oil after a month and a half. I was upset of course, so I took the SUV back to Grease Monkey, and spoke to the manager directly with a very direct tone of voice, letting him know what they had done, how unhappy I was, and the mess they have caused to my garage floor. They said they would take a look at it after I was done venting to them, but would not clean the garage floor. This was very upsetting to say the least! Once the manager agreed to look at the issue, and I was done venting, a BLM protestor in his goggles and face mask gear walked out of Grease Monkey and up to me (not sure if he was an employee) and put his hand in my face, and told me to leave these people alone. I do not want to make this political, and I did not want a physical confrontation as other employees begin to approach me as well. This place has gone downhill with their service and their expertise, not to mention the company they keep.  I am not sure what has happen to this Grease Monkey, but it has obviously became political and dangerous, and I would highly recommend that you stay clear of this place. read more

I can't express enough how amazing this crew is. From the moment I pulled up, they were exceptional. I was greeted by Dymin, a sweet, smiley guy who knows his stuff about cars. I expressed how embarrassed I was with the condition my car was in. You see, I keep a clean house but my car is my storage container. Not to mention I had gone 7,000 miles over since my last change. When I came to pick up my car, the inside was cleaned, organized and not a single piece of trash was visible. Worst experience of my automotive life....and i've been driving 35 years! Pulled into this Grease monkey on a cold Saturday afternoon for an oil change, pulled my truck up a vacant bay, explained to the tech that i needed an oil change and proceeded to their waiting room, 20 minutes later a tech comes into the waiting area to show me my air filter, suggesting that i change it, [ i declined knowing how new it is] the tech leaves to go back to my truck ...this is where it gets interesting... 30 seconds later the senior tech comes in to tell me that the previous tech had reversed my truck at speed into a retaining wall opposite the rear of the building ... and crushed the trucks fender into the rear portion of my trucks body, quite a bit of damage, how he did it is mind boggling considering all he had to do was drive it forward 20 feet into the oil change bay... While explaining the extent of the damage to me.... and making the comment ...'that i could probably see the extent of the damage from my seat in the waiting area', I asked him how it could have possibly happened and when, seeing as the previous tech [with the air filter] had not mentioned anything just prior. As it turned out the tech just decided not to mention it to me, while trying to sell me on a new air filter...seriously... just not mention the hugh dent and crushed fender while trying to up sell me on an air filter! Senior tech, who never apologized, he just commented on how bizarre the situation was, just said that they had excellent liability insurance and that i would be contacted on Monday, he simply left it at that and proceeded to finish the oil change, cashier girl on my exit just reiterated that some one would call me on Monday. Two weeks later: After receiving a brief message from Grease Monkey manager, hearing from their insurance company, dropping off my truck at a collision shop, picking it up 4 days later and dealing with multiple insurance calls, I have yet to receive an apology from anyone at Grease Monkey, either locally or from corporate. Just a simple apology. Fact : My truck now has a 'Carfax' damage record thanks to grease monkey , it had never previously been damaged. Fact: The inconvenience was substantial. And finally a bit of ironic humor, the morning after the $2,500+ in body damage, my change oil light came on.... Seriously, i think i'll live with it. read more
