They confirmed my make & model online for an oil change for $60 full synthetic but then sneakily tried to charge me $150 once I brought my car in. The reason? They said it was a different price because of my kind of car... even after my car had been confirmed for the $60 full synthetic service via phone call, email, and online booking. I recently took my Jeep to the dealer (Irvine Auto Center) to see if I needed brakes. They said I needed front and rear brakes. I was going to have it done, but they didn't have the pads and wanted to keep my car overnight. I passed and decided to try Midas, where I had my son's truck's brakes done a year or 2 ago. They SHOWED me how the rear brakes definitely weren't even close to needing to be replaced. They also pointed out an axle boot leak that appeared to have been leaking for a month or so. No mention of that at the dealer. I had Midas replace the front brakes and the axle boot. There was a computer programming issue with my Jeep after the brake replacement (a measure installed by Chrysler to keep people dependent on the rip-off dealer), but Midas got around it and worked with me on everything. Husband's car wasn't starting and had to get it towed here yesterday. Although we initially thought the issue was worse (startup not working), it was just the battery. In hindsight, we should've tried jumping it first but we were in a rush to get his car working before today and wanted professional help. I only went in with him to pick the car up, but they were so quick with their service! Same day too. They did a diagnostic and thoroughly explained to us their methodology, results, and price breakdown. Got a basic alignment for my car then they told me my brake lines were leaking and if i didn't fix it could lead to catastrophic brake failure when I asked them to show me they couldn't point me to where it was and i decided to not jump on their offer even though i felt very pressured to and took it to my regular mechanic who told me it was just my power steering leaking won't be coming back and nor would i recommend anyone else read more

Fantastic, reliable, and honest service! SO IMPRESSED with my entire experience with these gentlemen. I had a bit of a fiasco exiting the freeway as my tire popped, but no biggie. My vehicle was having problems with it's doors and needed some minor maintenance so I decided to check out Midas. Before heading over I called and spoke to Sharif. He was pleasant and reasonable. I arrived early and was greeted by staff. I noticed the shop had several bays to work on vehicles. There were little to no other customers during my mid-week arrival. Sharif himself is an experience shop owner. Once the problem with the door was discovered Sharif called and let me know the issue. He even looked into different part options such as Amazon, Ebay, Rockauto, etc. Unfortunately this car is an import and the part had to ordered from the dealer. Midas fixed the door issue and performed the other services within a few hours, called me periodically to let me know the updates. The service was friendly and pricing reasonable. I would recommend this shop for most auto care needs, you'll be in good hands and will see the quality work. read more

Buyer beware. Sariff the manager will try to be pushy and lie to you in order to upsell you. During the oil change they broke a part on my truck. When I returned for it to be fixed Sariff wanted to charge me 1200 dollars to fix it. He was extremely unhelpful and refused to give me the owners information so that I could not contact him. Avoid this business if you value your time, sanity and the functionality of your vehicle. Yes Sean your company did damage the vehicle. Go ahead and look up the most common cause of the damage your shop caused.....over tightening during an oil change. Amazing you were able to comment when your manager told me he didn't even know your name when I asked for it. Any reputable business would fix what they broke. I guess you feel it's just a coincidence there's no problem, I come to your establishment and poof there's a problem. Must be some sort of crazy circumstance. BTW this is the second time they've tried to charge me excessively. They want 1200.00 to fix what they broke. read more

My experience getting a (simple) oil change was anything but. After arriving it was suggested I get the air and cabin filter changed out which I agreed to with reluctance. After driving home, I woke up to a car that wouldn't even run. My dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree and my car wouldn't drive. It chugged along and my gear shift blinked with warning lights everywhere. There was funky looking grey exhaust coming out of my car. AAA came and the battery was fine but the technician said with most certainty that the air filter was installed incorrectly and it was effecting the MAF sensor and that I had one spark plug misfiring which is odd because my car only has 35K on it. I was without a car for 1.5 days. Missed a baby showed in LA and had it towed the next morning. Midas denied all doings. No apologies. No refunds. No responsibility. I am now writing this from the dealership where I am paying $230 for a diagnostics test and repairs. Never again. read more

My back tire had a slow leak, after three other tire places were too busy I remembered seeing this place! I drove up and let them know the issue and Shiram quickly responded, we can help you and if we fix it, it will be $40 dollars, or if you need a new tire, I'll let you know! He said it should take about an hour. Within about 30 minutes my tire was fixed and we were on our way. While we were waiting, we spoke with a customer waiting and he said it is a family owned business, that he's been coming here for a year, they do good honest and affordable work. I'm in! Excellent Customer Service. I noticed a leak under my 2007 Tahoe 4WD this morning. Upon inspection I realized that the rack and pinion was leaking power steering fluid. After reading online I noticed that the symptoms of this issue were, shaking steering wheel, clunking noises while steering, etc. I have taken my car to multiple shops and not one determined it was all due to my rack and pinion being worn out.....until I took it to Sean at Midas. He and his teams customer service was impeccable. I called to ask whether they could perform the repair, and Sean said they could do it that day. He ordered the parts, I dropped my car off, and the job was completed without issue. When I returned to pickup my car everyone greeted me professionally as though we had been friends for life, and also gave me a discount for being a first time customer. My car was completed on-time and exactly the same price I was quoted....less the discount. My car was clean, free of greasy hand prints, etc. I couldn't have been more pleased. And......it drives amazing....no wobble, no noises from the steering etc. I could have saved thousands by taking it here first....as I had been told it was the brakes, a loose suspension, the tires were out of balance, rims needed hubcentric spacers, etc. All of which cost $$$ and were not the root cause. I can't say enough nice things about this location and it's employees, other than i have found my new shop!! After having my car serviced at Toyota and being told that I desperately needed new brake, I found that Midas had the best local price (as well as a life time warranty on brakes). After getting the preliminary quote from Marco via the internet, I gave him a call to schedule bringing my car in. I brought my car in Saturday morning at 8 am and felt comfortable leaving it at Midas while I went on with my busy day. Marco called me within an hour to let me know the full scope of work that my car needed - brakes, rotors, brake fluid. PHEW! It adds up fast folks! Thankfully, he price matched what Toyota quoted me for new rotors and overall I was able to save $150 on the service package compared to Toyotas quote. When I picked up my car, Marco was available to go over what was done and check me out. The entire experience was pleasant and easy! Of course, it is always "painful" to spend money on maintenance items, but at least I was able to get it done at a really friendly and honest team! read more

I drove by on a Sunday afternoon to get donuts at Krispy Creme next to this location, saw someone working in the back, I parked my car and walked to see if someone could change my right headlight. One of the repairmen greeted me very politely and asked what I needed. He said there are no service guys working on Sunday evenings but he said if you would come the next day which I would be busy at 7:45 am we can help you and get you headlight replaced in 15 minutes. I thanked him and left. The next few days were kaos after kaos I just didn't even think about it, I usually don't travel after dark. I do worry that I might be stopped by cops without one headlight if I have to drive at night. Then Friday came, yeah ! I pulled up at 7:55 before they opened, I tried to wait in the waiting room when Marco asked me to pls wait for 5 minutes for the mechanic, he came. My right headlight was replaced and I was charged very reasonably I was so so happy. Marco was professional, prompt and very pleasant to work with. The mechanic was there to assure me everything worked out accordingly. I came back to them with a dozen of assorted donuts from krispy creme, they were so thankful. I brought my car here for an oil change. Afterwards my car started acting up and they looked into the issue. They stated my car would need several hundred dollars to repair. Supposedly it was bad timing, the engine failed when it happened to be with them. I can move on from that. I took the car to my trusted mechanic and he asked me if I ever got an oil change. I told them yes, that's what led to the current engine issue. He said they never changed the oil filter as the dust collected on the filter has no finger prints. I called Midas and they were reluctant to agree. They said they'd never do such a thing but the proof was in the pudding.... After going back and fourth they eventually refunded me. For that I'll give them 2 stars. Be sure to check if they replaced your oil filter. There's no guarantee. read more

2020 Toyota Tacoma I have fuel rims that have poorly placed valve stems in which you cannot use a standard air fitting you would typically find at gas stations. I stopped in Midas informing the technician of my issue and he immediately had me pull my truck up to a bay and set all my tires pressure at my desired psi. Highly recommend!
