Broke the clamps on my boyfriend's skid plate and didn't even properly put them back on causing damage to his brand new one. Had to go back twice, wasted an hour, and they didn't even notify him. Didn't replace them, nothing. Absolute trash. read more

I took my New pickup for an oil change here at Valvoline the service wasn't the greatest and as soon as I drove off I didn't feel well about that and they charged me for an air filter they never replaced!!!! Soon after the oil change my pickup started leaving oil stains all over my driveway!!! to my disappointment I discovered that the oil filter Valvoline put on is leaking, and pretty much has leaked ALL the oil out!!! thankfully I discovered this before I blew out my engine on a brand new truck!! And hopefully this doesn't create other issues in the future because of this!!! I'm very disappointed! Not to mention who's going to clean all the oil or replace my driveway? I have been using Valvoline for oil changes for 30 years. Mostly at this location on Millard Avenue. I had been pleased with the service until the most recent ownership/management change. Since that time, this location has gone downhill rapidly. Service is slower. Employees are less knowledgeable. They don't follow the instructions on my account and I have to remind them every time. I miss the friendly employees who recognized me when I drove in and even remembered my name. The first problem I had was during the winter when the windshield washer fluid in both of our vehicles froze up when the temperature was below 30°. Since the only washer fluid in the tank came from this location, what they're using is obviously not top quality and most likely watered down. Problem number two was when they did not properly tighten the screws holding on the engine guard. It came off on the highway about an hour from home and was completely destroyed. Another problem was the day I showed up about five minutes after their opening time. The place was deserted. Nobody around at all. I called the manager the next day and ask him about the situation. He apologized and said that there should have been somebody there at that time. As if I wasn't enough, on The last visit with one of our vehicles, the Valvoline employee advised our alternator was failing and needed to be replaced. I opened up the hood when I got home and discovered a loose connection on the terminal block attached to the battery. Had the alternator checked by an actual technician and it is fine. These people should not be diagnosing mechanical problems, as they are not qualified. Today was the last straw. When I pulled in, there was a car in each bay with the hood open. I waited 20 minutes and nobody came out to greet me. I can understand it maybe those vehicles were getting extra services like transmission or air conditioning. But that is something that I would like to know because it would affect my decision on how long I was and willing to wait. Overall, the ownership and management of this location have managed to achieve a complete fail in a short amount of time. It is time to rethink my relationship with Valvoline and find other service providers. read more

Not only is the staff friendly, they went over everything they were "concerned" about in grave detail and made sure I understood. I cannot recommend this place enough. I had a super great experience here. It was sooo nice not having to get out of my car while my son was snoozing. I watched them do everything and they were very polite and informative. Walked me through everything they were doing. I got an oil change and my power steering fluid changed out. Was only there maybe 30 min. Tops. AND they gave me a coupon. Pulled iin, stayed in my car and these guys were like an F1 pit stop, very quick. He didn't try to sell the most expensive oil but just gave me the choices. He showed me my air filter and even admitted that it didn't look that bad. I was in and out of there in 15 minutes for 42 bucks because I had an eight Dollar coupon that I found online as I was sitting in my car waiting for my oil to get changed. Fast and friendly. It cost more than the dealer for an oil change, they forgot to re attach the engine cover shield. Called and received the worst customer service! The "manager" on the phone ended up not being the manager. I left my number for the real manager and never received a call. I thought it would be convenient for a quick oil change but it turned in to a huge headache! Never going back. read more

The employees were very hospitable and kind. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. The guy who rang me up struck up a conversation and made me feel valued as a customer. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the service is abnormally pricey. I chose the middle grade (5,000 miles) oil change and it came out to $70. I was needing a routine oil change for my car and came to this Valvoline when out running errands. There was no wait and I was greeted by some of the friendliest mechanics I've ever met! They informed me right away that my car needs a specific oil filter and that they have to order it, so the service could take a little longer. I appreciated the warning, but it didn't take nearly as long as they'd said it would. They did a great job doing all of their other inspection services and were not pushy when it came towards other services they were suggesting. I felt like they were just informing me so I knew my options and I felt no pressure whatsoever to get them done. Kobe, Evan, and Jace were very friendly and easy to talk to. CONSUMER BEWARE! Make sure when you get you go to get your convenient "OIL CHANGE" they replace the oil plug correctly! Had my oil changed recently and after driving my vehicle for almost a week my oil light senser popped on. After having it checked out there was less than a quart of oil!!!! My son checked the plug underneath and it was never properly put back on. After having to replace all the oil which cost an addtional 100.00.. I immediately went back to the buisness and the manager PAT acted like no big deal.. sorry but this is a huge deal!Anyone knows the potential damage done to a vehicle if driven with no oil. I feel like 2 free oil changes to compensate the mistake on their part was like a slap in the face! Was directed to this location one morning for the early bird special a few weeks ago as the 132nd and maple street location near my home did not have my oil filter (for the second time in a row this year!) and made no effort to retrieve one to complete my oil change. Drove 15 minutes out of my way but was worth it. "Gabe" was managing on duty and working with "Luke" there was no wait, he got me in and out in 15 minutes! He updated the misspelling of my name in they system which I have asked the people at 132nd street to do on numerous times but obviously haven't bothered to take the time to do it. Gabe was polite and conversational while Luke completed his work below on the oil change.
