I was in desperate need of getting my brand new 2019 Ram truck flushed out. I needed a second heater for my workshop in the bed. The auto parts store gave me the wrong antifreeze causing the truck to overheat. I went to the Dodge dealership and they told me the antifreeze was contaminated, after showing them what I purchased. I purchased the Dodge Ram antifreeze and headed to Midas. These people at Midas were great, I had a emergency and they took care of everything, cleaned up the truck afterwards. The counter person taking my information was great he got me in on a emergency, the technician was great giving me some advise on the extra heater hoses, what was going on, overall status. Everything was great afterwards, the back flush cleaned out the contaminated antifreeze, the Dodge Ram antifreeze was used, and best of all the truck engine is fine. Not transparent about appointment. Called 8 days prior and explained service needed. Made appointment for following Saturday based off of availability recommended by Alonzo. Arrived in morning expecting vehicle would be started soon. Dod not happen. When I inquired I was told vehicle would be worked in based off of other vehicles needing service. Charma maybe, but Alonzo checked me in at my "scheduled" appointment time. When I followed up why my vehicle hadn't been started he told me all vehicles needing service are checked in in the morning and then rack and stacked on priority. So I asked if I really needed an appointment and if I could have dropped off anytime during the week and was told, yes. Long story to say, appointments don't have ANY value. Went by for a quick oil change and fuel filter change that I normally do myself for under $120. Should've gotten a quote before work ever started but in the end it cost me right at $400....Fuel filter markup was over 100%, and double charge on labor...charged me an hour labor for both oil change and fuel filter change each and complete job was done in 25 mins. I know people have to make a living, but to jack up pricing and markups like that is really ridiculous. I normally steer people away from dealers because they do this same tactic, however, I got a quote from the local GMC dealer for this exact same service and it was only $217.00..........Very disappointed in pricing when you try to use local and not big box store, but they have lost a customer for life along with whoever ask me about them. read more

Recently, we had a flat tire and took it into Midas to get it repaired. They repaired the tire and put it back on the Tahoe and put our spare back. 2 weeks later, that same tire fell off the car while my wife was driving. Lug nuts came off and the tire just fell off! Luckily my children and wife came to a stop safely. I called Midas and Brandon answered the phone. I told him what happened and he immediately apologized, told me to get a tow truck and bring it into the shop and they would pay for everything. I was out of town so my wife was nervous she would have issues when she got to Midas, but immediately upon arrival Brandon talked with my wife, made her comfortable, and took care of everything. They replaced the rotor, the thread studs, the lug nuts and the rim without any issue. They stayed open late to take care of us before the weekend hit. There was a mistake made when we came in the first time. However, they went above and beyond to make it right and we appreciate their great customer service. We will be returning to Midas again. read more

I'm updating my review and dropping it to one star. As you can see, Midas appears responsive to these negative reviews on yelp and directs you to fill out a form on their website so that they contact you to make it right. I followed their instructions and filled out their form. No contact has been made. They make it look as if they are responsive and willing to fix things but aren't really. So, I decided to rebuild the whole front end of my wife's Cadillac. I mean every part, bushings, ball joints, inner, and outer tie rod ends, wheel bearings, shocks, rotors, pads, calipers, and brand new wheels and tires. Everything, and I could only get it so close with a tape measure. Anyway, I went to Midas to have the alignment done. What a mistake, fast forward three months to the day. I was changing the oil and noticed the front tires were worn to the wear bars, and the rear tires are still like new. (AWD vehicle by the way) So basically, their shitty alignment cost me $1k. Two new tires, and a new alignment. I missed a huge red flag, when the counter person told me it wasn't that far out, and couldn't provide me with the print out that shows deviation from factory. read more

These guys are amazing! I've been getting oil changes done but just had to get back lights repaired. Not bulbs, not fuses..., complicated messed up wiring probably because it used to be an APD truck. Took the whole day to locate the one faulty wire because of all the extra wires left over from it's life as a 'surveillance' vehicle. The final price great compared to what it could have been somewhere else 'by the hour'. Will keep going to these guys!! read more

The worst place in the valley. I paid $1000 to have work done and I had to bring it back twice. On the 3rd time going there I also needed an oil change, thinking they could handle that he was sorry for the inconveniences and gave me a free oil change. Fast forward to today I'm at a different car place and they are tell me there is no oil at all in the car. I've heard of them saying they did repairs when they did nothing. read more

Got new studded tires put on, then the car would shake really bad at highway speeds. They got me right in to re balance them for free which is great but I also witnessed them impacting on my lug nuts back on with a 1/2 air gun and then not torquing them down after. The receipt says they were torqued to factory spec at 75 ft lbs. That is a lie. Your lobby is nothing but glass to view your techs working, with that in mind, you may want to buy a torque wrench! read more

Update: Spoke with the manager of the store. I specifically asked that I be contacted after 5PM, in writing, on their web site, and he called in the middle of the afternoon while I was at work. Nothing came of it. He said it was unfortunate I had already gotten service somewhere else because he may have been able to "work something out". The manager indicated the work came with a 12-month, 12K mile warranty even though the paperwork indicated 90 days. The manager admitted the warranty was confusing in light of the written documentation and brought the discrepancy to his leadership. Looking at the rotors, they were discolored by heat damage, which should have never happened. There were less than 8,000 miles on these new rotors. I'm driving a Dodge Caliber for my work commute. Nothing unusual about that. No offer to take a look at the damaged parts. No offer for a refund or partial refund. I stand by my review. I recommend avoiding Midas based on my experience and the experience of my friends. read more
