My husband and I were looking for a place to change our oil and we decided on Diamond Plated Auto Service in Wasilla. They provided quick service and he was in and out quickly. I noted that if you bring your vehicle in and the weather is bad outside and you call and tell them your on your way and the time you will be there they make every effort to sweep the snow off and have your vehicle running and warm. I think the little things a business does makes a customer come back. I noted the business owner told my awesome husband to give them a call and they would make every effort to assist the customer. I appreciate that in the times we're in these days. So quick service, the owner is usually on site, and they want us to come back, and that makes a business experience GREAT. So far they have changed my oil & fixed the valve on my tire & didn't charge for the time on the valve because they couldn't get it apart. It had a tire sensor & it broke. It takes about 20 - 30 minutes per oil change but the send you a report on your vehicle check & possible issues. I will definitely use them again. read more

Bought a brand new truck off the show room floor from Chevrolet. Brought my truck in to have a block heater installed. The block heater was never Installed... instead they stripped the threads and created a huge mess of coolant. They installed an oil pan heater instead and put the plug back In my coolant system that was stripped. I have been leaking coolant ever since. Brought it back in to see if they could fix what they had done, now she is saying there is " no proof" that they ever did the damage or ever attempted to install a block heater.... Even though I clearly remember the phone call they gave me to explain in detail of how they stripped the threads and they were going to fix the problem. had a last minute need for a alignment on my lifted f250, Jessica was very polite both over the phone and in person. I was told they could get to it at some point during the day if i dropped it off , and not gonna lie within a hour my truck was in the shop and on the rack, there was some hiccups ( not on their end ) with my truck due to the lift and the tires. I was a service writer with Diamond Plated for a short time. To be honest the management was pretty sketchy, but I just went along with it because I really needed the work. All of my coworkers were pleasant to work with except for one in particular who also happened to be buddy buddy with the owner Gretchen. One day I was working with said coworker, and they had been texting back on forth with Gretchen all morning. It was especially slow that day, and at one point the coworker said "Gretchen might send you home early today" to which I said "Alright, so I'll just wait for her to get here then." It was not uncommon for me to be sent home early. When Gretchen arrived later she was angry with me because apparently my coworker sent me home, and I decided to not leave. That was when Gretchen fired me without listening to my side of the story, it was a simple miscommunication on the coworker's side. I also still have not received my last paycheck, and when I brought it up with Gretchen she said that she had proof that I had cashed it out read more

Took our car in to get tires changed as well as the oil. For a basic oil change they are good except they always feel the need to mess with the air filter and they broke the case for it and didn't say anything to us. we didn't realize this was the issue with our car until our Car started having issues with running and my husband checked everything out and found this. Then on top of that my husband grabbed the wrong set of tires to change, they didn't check to make sure they would fit until they took off our previous tires, which is fine until when they put the old ones back on they didn't connect the sensors back correctly, or so we thought Until we were informed when we tried to get it fixed somewhere else that they actually damaged them and so now we will have to replace them as well.
