Stopped by the grand opening festivities at Middle Eats in Bloomfield, Hills. I tried the opening special which is a $5 swarma bowl. I got it withchicken, and added a shrimp skewer Bot the chicken and the shrimp more moist and very flavorful. The other ingredients in the bowl were also delicious. I would give it a 9out of 10. It could have used more veggies The festivities were a nice. Lot's of people were in attendance. There was a bounce house for children, and a prize wheel for adults. Everybody on staff were cordial, excited to serve, and very helpful. The place was decked out with balloon decorations. I enjoyed the giveaways, which were a water bottle and an ink pen. I will definitely make Middle Eats a regular stop. The menu was packed full of yummy items. You could eat there several times a month, not order the same thing and be satisfied.

Will 1000% be returning. Had an awesome experience. Cashier was able to offer some suggestions when we asked. Went with the chicken bowl with the spicy dillio sauce and hummus and the spicy crunchy shawarma wrap. Added a side of the falafel with the dillio sauce. The sauce is similar to a ranch and it's awesome. We loved everything. Great proportions and prices. Fast service. So glad to have this spot nearby!

Tried them out with a buy one get one coupon for the swarma bowl. Got it spicy with hummus and garlic sauce and it was really good! The bowl is quite large and could be almost two portions. They do seem on the pricier side when it almost reminds me of chipotle for middle eastern but the portions on the bowl do make up for it. The cashier was friendly and helpful and our carry out was ready within a couple minutes. Will definitely keep them in mind for something quick and healthy.

Great spot for middle eastern fast food where Qudoba used to be on Woodward. New contemporary ambience. Very generous bowl full of chicken shawarma, rice, hummus, garlic sauce. Fast and friendly service. The chicken is well seasoned. Almost perfect...unfortunately I asked for no onions but got some in my bowl

We came here for their grand opening and the place was packed! They had a deal for $5 bowls so my husband and I both got a chicken shawarma bowl. They did a great job of promoting. They had trucks with lights and sky lights to let people know they were open. Inside they had promos too. I won a churro and my husband won a giftcard. We have their app now so in the future you can get points and deals in the app. The bowl was good. The food was super fresh.

I've tried this place a couple of times, one of which being the grand opening. I love the chicken shawarma bowl. I get it with the spicy dillo sauce, hummus, and garlic. Spicy dillo isn't really spicy but it has good flavor. The bowl has a great balance of chicken, vegetables, and rice. It's delicious and fresh. The service is pretty quick and convenient. The owner and workers were all very personable as well. Highly recommend trying Middle Eats!

Middle eastern fast food. The place looks very nice on inside. Shawarma bowls and wraps. I tried the chicken bowl and steak bowl, they were very fresh. Make sure you get garlic sauce it hits the spot. Also try the spicy dillio (it's not super spicy). Plenty of good food for the money. The guy taking my order was okay, wish he could have been nicer and walked me to through the menu a bit more. Plenty of seating to enjoy it fresh. Will definitely go back, specially when in a rush to grab something quick. They said it's Halal, didn't see an official stamp on menu or in store.

The food was excellent! Had the chicken shawarma bowl with the garlic sauce and spicy dillio. The rice is much better than other places in the area. Would highly recommend. The prices are a little higher than other places, but the portions are huge. They could be shared or made into two meals.

This bowl is humongous and amazing! There are many middle eastern bowl/wrap places around this vicinity and I'm so glad Ifinally got to try this. I can't express how big this bowl is. The chicken shawarma is fantastic, the rest is so fresh and I'm going to for sure have leftovers. The only thing i wish is that there was more sauce so when I get to the bottom it won't be without. Still a great choice and worth the money of you're in the area. I can't wait to go again!

I hosted a group of friends and went to Middle Eats to cater. It was the best decision I made! They were so helpful when assisting on what food to choose to make sure it was enough. They answered all of my questions about the menu with ease. When I went to pick it up, everything was packaged so nicely which made travel/transfer a breeze. The food was delicious. The chicken, steak, and shrimp were nicely seasoned; the rice, toppings, and sauces were awesome! Everyone one of my guest asked me where I got the food from. The make your own bowls were accommodating to all of the different needs of my guests. I will be ordering from here again. Great staff and awesome food!

I had a very tasty Michigan cherry salad, with walnuts and blue cheese. Thursday must be "prime rib" night. Everyone else in my party ordered the prime rib, but I got shrimp and black bean cakes. Everything was carefully arranged on my plate. A pretty presentation. The three large shrimp were so fresh they were crunchy-good -- cooked only enough to cause them to turn opaque. The black bean cakes were a little bland, but the creamy red bell pepper sauce with scattered tiny diced veggies that was lightly laced over the top of everything added flavor, even if it was un-spicy. The little tuft of micro-greens was a nice touch, and the two baby carrots and six haricots verts were steamed and shocked to perfection, but I would have preferred a bigger pile of veggies. I was a little disappointed initially to be seated at the short bar as it makes me feel like I'm in elementary school due to the height, but this was a busy Saturday morning so I understood as it seems there are limited 2-tops, etc and this visit was at peak hours. It was nice to see the daylight coming through the windows which also made this a relaxing venue. While I was sitting there I was able to observe a lot as the short bar is next to the case displaying many delicious treats. I really laughed to myself as I noticed a couple of future Yelper's (one was 2-year toddler and his probably 4-5 year old sister (possibly celebrating a birthday) make a prompt trip to checkout the dessert offerings first! While I was waiting on my food, I had a vantage point where I could see several entrees come out. I also witnessed one of the two Chefs smiling as he was looking at and preparing the orders which I found interesting. The frittata included spinach, tomatoes, goat cheese, apple chicken sausage, and was delicious. I was still a little hungry, so I realized the future Yelpers mentioned earlier had it right, and I ordered a carrot cake cupcake which Owen mentioned was a good choice. The frosting was delicious and the moist carrot cake was tasty as well. The overall restaurant was hustling and bustling on this morning, I had my coffee cup refilled multiple times and even noticed additional children observing the case with the desserts. I enjoyed the overall experience and did not feel rushed at all, but more like a customer!

A thicker cut would really let you taste the high-quality flavor of the beef. If you're going to order, here are a few pro tips: Get the sauce on the side: It's an excellent sauce, but you are much better off dipping. Otherwise, the burger will totally get drenched and lose the meat flavor profile. The bacon situation: They smash little bits of bacon directly into the patty. You can barely taste it this way, and it would be significantly better just served as traditional strips on top. So I would prob get it without next time. The Tallow Fries: These have huge potential, but unfortunately, mine arrived pretty soggy via delivery. I should have thrown them in the air fryer to crisp them back up, as I know they would be amazing fresh out of the fryer dripping in tallow. And they would have worked much better as larger almost steak cut fries to let the tallow flavor shine more. However as i ate them, i would still choose cajun 5 guys fries well done over them. My order for a burger and fries came to almost $40 (including tip) through their delivery service. Is it worth that price point for a delivery order? Probably not. The only thing that would make this place any better is if they had a liquor license! We came in and seated ourselves; we were greeted warmly right away by our server. The decor is cute and modern with bright colors and has a good vibe. The menu is really interesting - there are a lot of good items on it and it was hard to choose! I was really tempted by the birria ramen - I may have to come back just to try that. I like that they have traditional Mexican/Tex Mex food as well as wings, burgers, and salads. Anyone would be happy eating here. To start, the chips came out hot and freshly fried and the salsa is nice and mild with a lot of tomato flavor. My Mom ordered the Ghost smash burger and I had the spice dusted wings. Both of those come with fries or tots, and we got fries. I also got a side salad with their southwest Caesar dressing, and it was really good. Topped with fresh tortilla strips and a decent amount of dressing - it wasn't overdressed, but I might get it on the side next time. Fresh and yummy. I really enjoyed the wings - they were a decent size and not overly breaded or frozen wing dings. These are legit chicken wings and I love the spice mixture as well as the delicious cotija ranch type dressing they come with. That's really good. My Mom's burger was also delicious - nice and hot with queso sauce and a fresh soft bun. A pretty perfect large burger. I will say that they're using frozen potato products, but with such a small workspace, I can see why that's necessary. And I'm not mad at it - the prices are very reasonable, and they came out hot and crispy with seasoning on them, so they're definitely decent. We'll be back every time we're in Pontiac!
