I'm sure you can see by my profile that I don't often review things. I feel compelled in this instance, however. I'll start with the fact that this was my first experience with a balloon ride. Logan (the pilot) and his lovely wife were clear, attentive and friendly the entire time! For anyone who may be concerned going in that they don't know what to expect or how to behave- when you take off you absolutely will. They make it totally clear in concise terms. You'll really feel confident going into the ride. The experience is one that is surprising! Take off and landing are gentle yet exciting- far more so than a plane! The views are spectacular and Logan remains in constant communication with the ground crew. In addition to all of that you'll learn about the history of ballooning! I won't spoil it all, but don't hesitate to take this leap with this company! They are amazing people and will provide an amazing experience! Support local business! read more

I went on my first ever balloon ride with this company during a short stay in Tennessee and it was the absolute highlight. A few friends and I were honored with the trip from our summer work program. We even had the traditional champagne after our flight. It was a complete adventure from take off to landing and it was awesome to see how the whole operation handled. The take-off was the most exhilarating part. It was also fun to see everyone come out of their house to look up and wave at our balloon, haha. Even though we were in a small space, very far off the ground, I never once felt nervous because I could tell Logan and Henry knew exactly what they were doing. I was recently in Nashville and couldn't pass up the opportunity for something as adventurous as a hot air balloon ride. This was my first ever flight on something other than a plane, and yes I was very nervous at first, but Logan and Henry made the experience so relaxing and enjoyable. I felt they knew the terrain better than I knew the back of my own hand! October 28, 2016 I booked this flight two days ago for my anniversary. They confirmed the flight was good to go last night at 9:00 pm and then cancelled with only a 45 minutes notice before the flight this morning at 5:45 am. They refused to give and offer any refund after we hired a sitter and moved the world around to be able to go and was almost there to the location ready to fly. "They claimed there was fog when in reality the visibility is perfect". It is obvious they didn't have enough bookings to justify the flight this morning therefore ruining my anniversary present for my wife. I asked for a refund because there was no opportunity to exercise my right to a refund with a proper notice of cancellation from them 12 hours prior. Keep in mind just 8 hours before we were told everything was good to go for flight. When I asked them to be honest and refund me, they said absolutely not that I had already paid online and therefore accepted all terms and conditions. They claim they were out 100.00 with the online booking (which is an absolute lie). Therefore I'm going to dispute this charge with my credit card company as this is in my opinion is complete "theft by deception". To top that off, after I told them I was upset and would seek to get my refund through other avenues they repeatedly kept texting me and harassing me trying to scare me not to and justifying why they were not going to refund me any money after I asked them three times to stop texting me. This then turned into harassment from them. I had to threaten to call the police for the texts from them to stop. I told them several times I'm giving you the opportunity to be honest and do the right thing because as a business owner myself, I know how important the customer is. However, I was insulted, harassed and stolen from on this clear beautiful pmorning that is suppose to be filled with fog. Do yourself a favor and book with someone else. I couldn't get a booking with anyone else because they were all booked up and now I know why this company didn't have full bookings. Check out the photo and you will see there is 100% visibility.
