This gym deserves more than five stars! I just finished their 6 week challenge and I lost 8lbs and 7% body fat and I was just looking to get back in shape. I have a small figure so I was working towards achieving mainly body fat loss but for those of you that are looking at losing weight, I've heard of 6 week challengers who have lost more than 25 lbs! The MSAC family is amazing and gives you all the tools you need to achieve your fitness goals. They give you a nutrition plan to follow, three times a week you attend their work out groups, and they assign you an accountability coach. On top of all of that, you become a part of the amazing MSAC family, everyone that attends this gym is so nice! No judgement whatsoever! They also have a private Facebook group where you can share recipes and ideas for cooking healthy and stay in touch with everyone! You are not alone when you join this gym, everyone is working on similar goals and everyone helps each other. A company's culture starts from the top, and once you meet Noel and Se you will know why this gyms culture is so positive and great to be a part of! Noel and Se make sure you are working hard and staying on top of meeting your goals but they do it in a supportive and positive way! They support you always no matter how much you are struggling and never make you feel that you are any different than anyone else in the gym. This positive, "You can do it" culture is present in every work out you do, not only with them but with the rest of the MSAC team. We (my daughter and I ) signed contract 8 days before orientation, before we knew the weight goal they set. Do know you will have to pay 499 commitment fee for the 6 week challenge. Do know you will have to go to all 18 wod's and you will have to lose either 25 pounds or 6% body fat their choice (according to bmi) in order for the challenge to be "free". My daughter lost 7.7% body fat and 14.8 pounds in 6 weeks and lost 499.00 because she did not lose 25 pounds and she went to all 18 classes and FULLY stuck to the diet. We did not realize you HAD to lose 25 pounds or 6% fat until 3rd week, we were under the belief that you had to follow the diet, post your accountability food pictures on their page and go to all workouts! I do not recommend the 6 week challenge, the risk of losing the 499 is too high. But I do recommend MSAC if and when they have other programs available, for example bootcamp, onramp or other programs with a set price where there is no risk of losing money. I absolutely loved the workouts! I did get my 499 back, I lost 6.8% body fat and 5 pounds and my daughter lost more fat% and pounds and still lost her money. I am in no way putting down crossfit just the way the challange was presented. This week marks the completion of a 6 week challenge with Middleburg Strength & Conditioning. What an amazing experience!!! Going into it I was very apprehensive. Not because of the fitness part but because of the nutritional aspect of it. I've been a very picky eater all my life. To my surprise it wasn't as difficult as I thought. The nutritional coach worked with me every step of the way and I was able to find things that worked and I actually liked. The fitness regimen is tough and pushes me to my limits but the coaches are amazing and I always look forward to going to my next workout because I can see and feel the changes in myself. The facility offers class early enough that I can get my workout in before I have to get ready for work so that way nothing get in the way of doing it, other than getting out of bed really early lol. I am feeling good about myself again which has led to me staying with the gym beyond this 6 week challenge. Not only are all the staff members super supportive but others working out at this gym are super supportive of one another. Just having a baby in January, I had to figure out how to get back into shape. I saw a 6-week program through MSAC and signed up that day and met up with Noel. I had never been so excited to start a program and get my but kicked. I have never worked out before and was nervous about form, diet, and all the normal things that I have struggled with in the past. Guesswhat? THAT PART WAS EASY! I had so much support and the way the program is set up, I was able to keep on track with my meals allowing me to make my goals. I saw results by the end of the first week. The workouts were tough, but so sa/sfying and mo/vated me to work so hard every day I was there. I had no prior experience working out in gyms, so form was a huge concern for me. They had coaches helping you every step of the way helping you. They also mo/vate you and help you push yourself to be stronger. I signed up and knew I would feel be0er and stronger by the end. The last 6 weeks have been the most physically painful weeks of my life but I am so incredibly thankful to have this experience. I have always struggled with accountability and staying on track with my diet and exercise but with the support of Noel, Se and all of the other coaches and members of the MSAC family I have the confidence to continue my journey and know I can succeed. The workouts are hard but not impossible if you set your mind to it and everyone is there cheering you on. The meal plan for the 42 Day Detox Challenge left me feeling full and able to control my cravings. The accountability over all else helped me stay on track, it has always been hard for me to keep myself motivated to go to the gym and not choose to go out to eat just because it's easier. Having coaches like the ones at MSAC there holding me accountable, checking in and letting me know that if I am struggling, they are there to help has been just the tool I need not to give up. Middleburg Strength and Conditioning was and is truly a blessing !!! From the amazing staff to the people you are getting down and dirty with !!' From start to finish i have no complaints. Although i didn't nt hit my initial goal, i still lost something and I'm happy with that. The coaches all hold you accountable and i love it. From correct form, to showing up and eating right they are in the trenches with you and it makes it easier! I struggled with the diet but it was there easy to follow and i managed to lose body fat the workouts were hard but seeing my body transform over 6 weeks, i can say that it works !!! I participated in the 42 day Detox and the 6 week Challenge. I was very intimidated to start crossfit, but ALL of the coaches were welcoming and committed. They gave me all the tools I needed to be successful. They didn't just throw me in a class and wish me luck. Every class they showed me proper form so that I would perform the move correctly and not hurt myself. Whenever I felt like I was seconded guessing myself, they helped me keep going. I lost 15 pounds and 11% body fat in 6 weeks. MSAC Coaches and the other members have been a blessing and I will not go anywhere else. MSAC has a family atmosphere. Noel, Se and trainers care about all of the members. They are always checking to make sure you on course to reaching your goal(s) and seeing if there is anything they can do to help. The trainers are great. They always offer modifications if there is something that you are not able to do at a particular time. I have never been in such a friendly workout atmosphere that make your feel welcome. It makes a person wants to come and workout. I can't say enough about members that encourage you to push for that last little bit. You just feel rewarded when you make it. Absolutely one of the best decisions I have ever made! The entire staff, from Noel and Se to Jakobie and Reyna are 100% dedicated to your success. Not only are they there to help and guide you, but they genuinely care about how you feel both inside and out. The meal plans are delicious and more than enough. They are easy to prepare and meal prep. The workouts are made to push and test you but they are customized to fit your needs, not like all the other cookie cutter gyms out there. I have been a member of gyms in the past, and what usually happens is they take your money maybe give you one or two lessons and you are on your own. At MSAC when you attend classes they give you personalized instruction each time. I have A LOT of weight to lose and went from being as couch potato to working out at least 3 times a week. They have always been able to scale down exercises for me so that I am not trying something that at this point is virtually impossible for me to do. I did the 6 week challenge and lost over 30 pounds and over 9% body fat. The workouts are different everyday and very challenging. I had no idea how out of shape I was until I started but week after week I was getting stronger and doing better. I couldn't have done it without the support of the trainers. They're a great group of people and know exactly how to push you to your limits everyday no matter how much stronger you get each week.
