They also came out for service every year, and I recall them coming out at 2AM New Years day 2010 when we got home from a trip and had no heat. Despite the late hour they got our old furnace up in running fast. The wife and I moved in the winter of 2018 to a home that has a oil boiler. Initially we used another local company to deliver oil because that is the company the previous owner used. We asked for auto delivery and they never showed up. Literally had to call this other company daily until they sent someone as our oil tank was reading empty. After going through that awful experience we remembered McDonald Oil and called them to set up service. They came within 3 days of me calling to deliver oil and within a week to service our 30 year old boiler. The service appointment for the cleaning was very professional. They explained everything because we are new to boilers, and addressed the concerns I had. We look forward to a long relationship with you guys once again!

The temperatures are in the 30s at night, but I have not turned my heat on yet while I try to find someone to repair my furnace. I'm cold, pissed, and don't understand how you stay in business when you treat customers like this.

John needed to bring in water & sewer into the building. He had to plumb the bathroom, laundry area & kitchen. He also had to run new propane lines for our cooking stove, Vt Castings propane heater & on demand hot water. It came out perfect. A couple of years later, he had to install a new boiler and all new piping along with all new plumbing for an old house I bought in Huntington. He also ran propane for a clothes dryer, and on demand hot water heater and cooking stove. Again the results were perfect. Recently he installed a water purifying system under our kitchen sink so that we did not have to buy water again. In each and all of the 'jobs' he has done for us, his work is well thought out with money saving recommendations on appliances. His work is impeccable so there is never concern about the safety of all he does. I certainly would recommend him to help anyone who is looking for a very knowledgeable person in his trade. He kept it running for another year and half and in mid 2011 we used him to to put in a brand new furnace and central air. It was a pretty straightforward job. He replaced our old oil fired furnace with a brand new natural gas Carrier Infinity furnace and central A/C. We had no issues with that equipment when we sold our home 8 years later in 2019. Fast forward to 2020. We purchased a new house with Geo Thermal heating and cooling. We were excited for it until a month after moving in (November) the heat stopped working. Only one company in the area works on geo thermal and they determined it had a massive leak in the loop system in our yard, but they did not know where. They were kind enough to let me know that the loop system is 100 year life span pipe! Well apparently it isn't. Rather than invest major bucks in a brand new loop and with winter fast approaching we again called Todd with TSK. This time around TSK had more work to do. While our home had natural gas, it was built with Geo Thermal so there was more work to do putting in conventional heating and cooling. Todd and his crew got rid of the Geo Thermal system and had us up and running with a brand new high efficiency Lennox furnace and central air. He got the furnace installed fast, the night he completed the work we went from 30 degree weather to single digits. I can't say enough good things about TSK. I did get other quotes and TSK by far was they cheapest. Even if TSK was not the cheapest I probably would have still hired TSK as I know they do quality work and stand behind what they do!

I wasn't sure exactly what type of replacement I wanted; tank less or traditional. Jimmy was upfront and honest with all the options and explanations. I really appreciated that, and it helped me make a decision I was happy with. My old natural gas tank heater was 40 gallons. I always felt there wasn't enough hot water even with just 3 people in the home, probably because it was supporting a 3 story brown stone. Jimmy found a nice 50 gallon one, and scheduled next day installation. His team was on time, courteous, asked for water shut off location, and began the install. I was upstairs doing work. Couple hours later, he let me know it was all done and walked me through the work and the new electronic gas and pilot control unit on the new system. He even installed a new ball valve and gas valve at no extra charge. I've used other plumbers in the time I have been up here, and never have I had the exceptional customer service, quality workmanship, and cost effectiveness that J2 plumbing offers.
