When I got there we discussed her ideas and she got my approval before proceeding. She did a great job. I don't normally do anything much with my hair but blow it straight, and she was able to balance out giving me a fancy hairstyle with my more casual style. It was perfect for me. Finally, I felt totally comfortable there. She wore a mask, I wore a mask, they had dividers up. She was a real pro. Modern Male does a good job of capturing the 'male spa' experience without feeling forced or pretentious and they offer a wider array of services than their peers. While I haven't yet sampled any of the their other offerings, I have been returning to the same stylist (Courtney) for a haircut/ scalp treatment for the better part of a year so far and couldn't be happier. Truth be told, I'm not sure what the value of the scalp treatments is - or if I need it, but it's a really relaxing massage at the very least! Everyone in the salon is extremely pleasant and engaging, and the space is cozy, clean, and has a good energy about it. They don't have their own parking, but there is a large lot nearby and I've never really had any issue finding a spot. I intend to avail myself of their other services in the future, so I may edit at some point, but this place is aces in my book!

I then found nurse Kelly K & scheduled to have my eyelash fills done by her, hoping for a more serene experience & cost worthy outcome. She was over the top friendly & greeted me in a calming dimmed room with relaxing music. After some short chitchat she evaluated my barely intact extensions & asked me what I wanted in regards to the look of my lashes. She genuinely seemed to care, listened to what I wanted, honestly voiced her opinion on what would look right on my eyes, & then worked her magic! 1 hour 30 min later I left her salon feeling relaxed & looking like a million bucks w/my new lashes. She asked what I liked and how far I wanted to go, and I feel like she achieved what I asked for. I did all over highlights, had my very long hair cut, and washed and styled. She also gave tips threw out on my new style. Also she uses Redkin glosses for $15 which if you've not had one then girl you have no idea how great they are you're missing out if you've not had one. I did pay initially a good price for my complete make over, however, I've found a great hair stylist that will be able to maintain my hair at a good cost after my initial WOW cut and style. Studio 36 values the clients that walk in the door but does not undervalue how good they are. I will be maintaining my hair w Soury from now on. I've finally found a hair home!
