We've been here a few times and we like this place. This time we came in for Mother's Day. It seems they revamped the menu. It's a lot easier to read and there are some new items. In a party of five, there were no complaints. Everyone got hibachi and noodles, chicken katsu, shrimp and scallops. We also ordered the appetizer with teriyaki eggplant (Nasu niniku). I highly recommend it if you like eggplant. I got a new sushi menu item called the colorful roll. It had purple potato and avocado inside, topped with mango slices and mango puree. It was very good, but sweet. I think it might taste better without the puree. I would still order it again. Bathrooms were clean. That's always a plus. read more

BEST of the BEST. I honestly wish they had all you can eat because if they did, I wouldn't go anywhere else. The attention to detail here is amazing, even down to how they decorate the plates. This store I can see them making rolls on the spot. Service was a little slow on the weekday, so I would recommend you call ahead if you want to pick up. Midori has some of the BEST quality sushi around the area. I've been here a few times and each time, the sushi is well-prepared, fresh, and absolutely delicious! My boyfriend and I got take out from Midori to satisfy our sushi craving and I loved the rolls we got. 4 rolls (2 hand rolls and 2 special rolls) for the both of us was more than enough! For the hand rolls, we each got our favorite classics: Spicy Tuna Roll and Shrimp Tempura Roll, which were as good as we'd hoped. We both like spicy/sweet flavors, so we went for the Madness Special Roll and Red Devil Special Roll. The Madness Roll was by far my favorite of the two! It's covered in spicy mayo sauce, which gives it the perfect balance of spice and sweetness. The Red Devil Roll was not as flavorful as I'd wanted it to be, but it was still pretty good. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because take out has been extremely busy lately and it was fairly difficult to get in contact with the restaurant. When we called to place the order, it was very quick and went well. But when we went to pick up our order 20 min later, there was a line of about 7 people waiting outside the door also waiting to pick up their order. The line moves quickly and the staff does their best to keep it efficient, but I was not expecting the order to take as long as it did to be ready. I was having a craving for kanpyo (sweet squash). The first place we tried to go was closed for Labor Day weekend. So I went back to yelp and searched for other places that serve this. That's how we found Midori and I am very glad we did! Kanpyo was on their online menu, but not the one in the restaurant, but I asked and they had it. My husband and I also shared the roll combo dinner which came with soup, and the midori roll. We forgot to ask for them to leave off the spicy sauce from the midori roll, so on my way to the restroom ( very clean restroom, by the way) I saw the waitress and asked her to have them omit it. When it was served it was still with the spicy sauce. It is possible that it was already made by the time I told them. It was our fault for not remembering to request it initially. I love coming here and I love their signature rolls! What I really appreciate is that they have a cooked sushi roll section. So if you can't or won't eat raw, there is something for you. They're still in COVID lockdown with take out only. They have a strong barrier in place and take the precautions seriously. Their sushi is average and a bit suspect. As you can see the fish for the Philly roll is supposed to be smoked salmon but is unidentifiable and looks fake to me. The wasabi is also a very artificial green. I got the party tray B for 74 pieces which is supposed to feed 5-6 people. My family of 7 shared this and it was honestly the perfect amount. None of us were stuffed but we were perfectly content and we finished every last roll. The total came out to around $75~ which really isn't too bad for the amount of sushi we got. It also came with a huge variety from shrimp tempura rolls, dragon rolls, spicy tuna rolls, and more. I definitely recommend getting this party platter for family gatherings! read more

All the hot food was amazing and all the raw fish and sushi roll were impeccably fresh. Ordered over $100 worth of food for my office. I clearly dictated what I wanted and they read it back to me. I drove 15 minutes to pick it up and 15 min back to work on my lunch break. I open up all the packaging and not only was half the orders for my office wrong, but my lunch itself was completely missing! I called back and they wanted me to drive all the way back again!
