Only thing I wish they did was provide unlimited cabbage salad and rice which other tonkatsu places I've been to did. Parking was easy. The server was attentive, always asking us how our food was and refilling our ice waters. Love the space and tasty, simple decor of this restaurant. There's covered parking attached to the apartment complex above. This place is surely comparable to the other katsu places here in Seattle. I'm glad it's in our neighborhood.

I've been with this joint since 3 owners ago, and for me (maybe not everyone else), I never had a bad experience here. I don't have a reason to complain about the new owners, since they have served well. Sure, the walls are a little dented and the soda's not your everyday Coca Cola brand, but the food is just as great and the soda tastes like your everyday fizz, plus, it's free! Decent prices and still better than the overpriced, salty, bland teriyaki you find in nearby shops (which don't have free soda :/). Also, if that hasn't convinced you, these shops are constantly changing owners. So if you don't happen to like the new ones, move on and ride a quarter mile down to the next shop. read more
