Hands down, TeaLux Cafe is the best boba spot you will find in Tampa and Hillsborough County. To give you an idea of how I rate boba, my scale starts with Kung Fu Tea as a baseline (for reliable average boba) with Ten Ren being at the tippy-top. TeaLux is definitely up there being a close contender to Ten Ren for the Tampa Bay area. Beginning with the customer service, we are always warmly welcomed whenever we visit. The owner and team are always super friendly and inviting to all patrons. Her bubbly and happy personality is incredibly contagious making it great for adults and kids alike. Inside TeaLux, you will find a fairly open space with seating that range from lounges to high-tops (there is no outdoor seating incase you're wondering). There is a TV that typically stream music videos and an assorted collection of table-top games for you to enjoy while you enjoy your beverage/dessert here. Now for the drinks, you will find the usual categories of milk tea, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks all of which you can customize. There is one electronic kiosk that you can order from that allows you to visualize the drinks a bit closer. Their fruit teas are arguably strong sellers here, but their signature milk tea also sets the standard. The key here is how incredibly fresh their boba are which is key when you're in the boba game. You really can't go wrong with any of the drinks here. Located on smack-dab in the middle of Waters Avenue, it's about half a mile west off the north-south Dale Mabry thoroughfare. There's plenty of parking in the lot that it shares in the plaza. It's in a great centralized location that services the entire Tampa Bay area. We come here at least once a month since discovering it and will continue to be returning customers. I guarantee you will love it here at TeaLux, so make your next boba pit stop in Tampa at TeaLux!

The ambience here is fun, warm, and genuinely inviting. We stopped by on a nice-weather afternoon, and it wasn't busy at all, which made the place feel even more relaxed. At first, we were excited about the whole "do‑it‑yourself ramen" experience, but honestly, it left us a little underwhelmed. It was good, but it's basically prepackaged ramen noodles dressed up nicely. In my head, I thought it was going to be fresh or at least a bit more authentic -- especially considering it's not the cheapest meal in town. Now, the boba milk tea? That was delicious. My daughters enjoyed theirs, no complaints there. We just don't live close enough to be regulars, so it's not a spot we'd go out of our way for, but with all that said, we still had a good time.

Delicious and quality milk tea, the owner is very enthusiastic and cute. I was told by the shop owner that the ingredients she makes are extremely good for health. In particular, the milk tea here is not as sweet as other shops I've had.

Best Boba milk tea in Tampa. Very kind staff, chill place and flavor full tea, it can't get better!!

Self serve Raman and Taro milk tea with berry boba pearls

We went there as a group and were extremely delighted and amazed. The drinks were top notch and I tried for the very first time a Taro Milk tea with these blackberry type boba balls. I also took a spicy self-serve Raman bowl which the drink help ease fiery soup sauce. Overall we had a great time, if I could recommend something to these folks because at time I'm sure this place gets very busy is to add a second Raman cooking machine. The restaurant only had one machine so we were standing around cooking our food while the others in the group were sitting down eating. Also, they should provide soup spoons instead of teaspoons, this will enhance the dining pleasure. Not sure how much they are, but I'm sure if busy continues a 2nd unit will be available soon. I would recommend this place for anyone who enjoys Raman and these types of boba drinks.

While in the area to scout events venues, we were feeling thirsty and decided to search for nearby cafes. After seeing the positive reviews, we settled on Tealux cafe. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful and relaxing ambiance as well as the availability of board games to enjoy with friends. After perusing the menu, we opted for Thai Tea with boba and fried chicken gyoza. The service we received was both fast and exceptional, with the server being patient and helpful with all customers. Our Thai Tea with boba was expertly made and delicious, with the boba being particularly fresh and enjoyable. The Fried Chicken Gyoza was also cooked to perfection, with flavorful and tender chicken inside the crispy gyoza. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with Tealux cafe and look forward to returning soon to try more of their delicious offerings.

Sunset paradise, no boba

I went into this place not expecting much, and I was pleasantly surprised! The little plaza this shop is in I will admit looked a bit run-down, but once I stepped inside I was taken aback by how cute everything is! The decor is really clean and modern, I especially love how they did the chairs. Staff was super kind and patient as we took 3 hours to figure out what we wanted. I got the sunset paradise tea which is strawberry and mango, and wow, not only was the presentation lovely but it tasted wonderful. The best way I could describe it was it tasted like fruity pebbles in a good, refreshing way and not in a sickeningly-sweet way. They also had plenty of board games, including UNO which should be required (by law) for cafes to have. Overall, I had a wonderful time getting wrecked at a children's card game while drinking some of the most delicious tea! Please stop by!

It is about 4.4 stars. I like the bubble tea here. Good tea for many customers to enjoy. They also have good choices. But one thing for sure, if they can package with toppings and mixed in a set price will attract more customers. We got the tofu desert, the picture shape it in bowl but come in cup. I will prefer In bowl. We did finish the top side with syrup first. We have to add more syrup. Good thing they willing to do it. We also got the Luna drink. I recommend this drink. It is butterfly tea and jasmine tea below. It has lychee flavor and two real lychee. Overall the service is good. The place is Will decorated. They are some comfortable seats and cushion seat.

Beautiful establishment. The lights are kept low which is nice & reduces overstimulation! The servers (are they called baristas?) are very nice and patient! Both drinks were delicious. I definitely recommend the Luna tea! I got mine with no sweetness (just preference) and it was so refreshing. The brown sugar fresh milk was mellow and delightful. Highly recommend!

Boba drinks and soft tofu dessert

Menu was basic boba menu. The drinks are good! They do have interesting dessert/snack menu though. I tried the soft tofu dessert and was a little surprised because it didn't not look like how it was in the menu. Also it's served cold, traditionally we have it hot, so that was interesting, but still tastes very good though. The place itself is spacious and pretty.

Ordering is done electronically on the tablets, for the most part.

Super cute place! We were there for a BTS Cupsleeve event. It's a good sized place, as the event only took up less than half of the dining room. We tried a couple of the drinks that were special for the event. The SDL was a mango pineapple fruit tea, and it was amazing. We also tried the Huh? drink. It was so good. We decided to get it without boba, but it was so good. Reminiscent of an Oreo milkshake. The food options are pretty limited, but there are a few choices. We, however, only tried drinks. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Prices are on par with other similar establishments. We really enjoyed this little spot! I'd see no issues with making repeat visits!

I've been waiting for this day for the longest time! Following on IG and FB! The day has finally arrived and I'll be heading there to try their tea for their soft opening! This place is literally walking distance from my work which could be a bad thing for my wallet!! Today is soft opening so all drinks are $3.99!! I may just have to double fist some teas lol. Go check out with me!!! So their matcha and most of the milk teas are made ahead so you can't customize the sugar or the milk type. You can get the brown sugar milk tea though and customize that one. So given this I obviously didn't get the matcha. Wish they didn't make ahead of time. However I will be back for their fruit teas. Had the Islander today which is Jasmine Green with mango, passion fruit and pineapple. Love that it comes with fresh sliced orange and mango in it. I ordered no sugar and it was perfect. Hint of sweet and their jasmine is not overpowering if you know what I mean. What I disliked was the amount of ice in this thing. I felt like I got a good 4 slurps of my tea before I literally starting slurping for more because there was no more lol. Next time I'm ordering with very light ice. Overall I really liked this tea and I'll definitely be back. I got the same drink for my staff and they loved it also. Very refreshing! The inside is absolutely beautiful! Plenty of seating and it's very open space. The staff greeted us when we walked in. And they have a rewards program so be sure to pop that phone number in when prompted on the screen.

This boba shop boasts a cute and inviting interior that immediately catches the eye. creating a cozy and trendy atmosphere, making it a popular spot for young locals to hang out and enjoy their drinks. However, while the ambiance may be great, the prices of their beverages tend to be on the higher side then others in the neighborhood. Along with most drinks not having the option to come with out boba. leaving some customers feeling slightly disappointed like myself. Additionally, although the drinks are okay, they may not necessarily be the best in town, lacking that extra touch that would make them truly exceptional. Nonetheless, for those seeking a pleasant environment to sip on their boba and hangout this is the place for you. But I can't completely put the store off seeing how I haven't tried there food items, I tried the black tea milk tea 6/10 and a Thai tea 7.5/10. The staff was also really nice i came in an hour after opening to make sure boba was ready and I was greeted by a pleasant young lady, and a really kind older woman.

The dessert drink was absolutely delicious. I waited for the shaved ice to melt a little bit so I can drink some of it and all the little fruits in there and the beans were absolutely so fresh and I really love the Ube in there. I'm one of those type of people that like to custom my drinks and food so next time I would probably omit some of the fruits in there and either add extra Ube or extra ice cream or something like that if they allow it. The service was exceptional. The folks behind the counter were absolutely super sweet. I know they're Filipino, but I literally felt like I was in Hawaii. The service was so incredible. Like most other Filipino restaurants/cafe, there is a behind-the-counter, glass protected buffet at the forefront of the restaurant. From here, you can make your selections as you build your combination platter. The Filipiniana also offers a small section of baked goods and desert, while specializing in drinks such as Halo Halo and other Asian-curated beverages. Interesting to note that the Filipiniana offers catering in the kamayan style (simply put, a spread of various dishes over banana leaves to be shared by multiple people amd eaten with hands). However, they don't serve this in house/at the location - you will have to give advance notice (like with other caterers) to have this prepared. The Filipiniana is definitely a good spot to satiate your curiousity, explore, and discover Filipino cuisine!

My partner got the spicy tonkatsu and I had wanted to do the "make your own ramen" option. I really wanted wagyu but didn't like the toppings it came with.
