Had the buffalo cheesesteak which was delicious! Service was quick! Location is tiny; a few tables and chairs, nothing fancy at all but good if you're solo and are grabbing your bite. I'll say my only gripe and the reason why I gave it 4 stars was the $5 up charge to get my cheesesteak on served as a bowl/salad. It was about the amount of lettuce you'd place on a sandwich and two slices of tomatoes. Definitely not worth $5 more. I still don't grasp the concept of being charged more to be a little healthy lol.

Ordered via a delivery app. I got the Philly Cheesesteak with American cheese and then added extra Pepper Jack cheese for more $ but I don't think they added any. It ay least had a good amount of meat but I didnt like the taste of the hoagie roll. The bread can really make a difference to the taste. The Sinatra's Hoagie was just pathetic, a complete waste of money (Sinatra would definitely be offended). It was supposed to have ham & salami & provolone but literally just had 1 thin slice of each as you can see in the pic. Never seen so little sandwich fillings. Mainly it was lettuce & some tomato & the same meh hoagie roll. The Onion Rings were at least good, crispy with a good batter but not over-fried.

Very quick service. Good option for a cheap grab-and-go lunch if you want to sit by the waterfront. Although I wish the chicken cheesesteak used minced meat instead of cubed.

Decent cheesesteak ($9.75) that needed more gravy to add flavor and moisture. It came with chopped steak, your choice of cheese (I got mozzarella ), and sautéed onions. The sub was sizable, so it was good bang for buck. However, the sub roll was a bit soft and low quality. My order was supposed to come with fries, drink and dessert. I called the restaurant and they said that I didn't get it because I didn't pay for it. I explained to them that I did and it says this on my receipt. He said oh well call Uber. False advertisement and took no responsibility even after I told them that I would show them my receipt. Never ordering from here again and I am getting a full refund.

I got a Philly cheese steak, requested Swiss cheese but ended up with no cheese. There were very few peepers and onions. It was mostly meat. The bread roll was good, the meat was good, but I expected more from a Philly Cheese steak. It was served quickly. The person that took my order didn't seem to speak a lot of English? Or maybe just English wasn't his first language, so something got misunderstood. Anyway, I enjoyed what I got.

Being from near Philly, I'm not totally impressed with these cheesesteaks. I'd give this place a 3.5 if I could, though. The cheesesteaks are good, not great - they definitely are better than a lot around here but nothing like the authentic ones a couple of hours away) and they've got a lot of options to choose from. LOVE!! I love both the food and service at Midtown Philly Steaks. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming! I am that type of person that has to change and substitute something and they are extremely accommodating and makes whatever I want perfectly! This place is so overrated. We went here due to 4 star review of over 100 yelp reviews. We thought it was going to be very good. Let's start with the bread...it's such cheap bread i can't say no more. Then the meat looks like chili meat. Cajun fries were so salty we needed to refill our drinks 3x just to recover. Wendy's have better chili cheese fries than they have. I wouldn't go here again. You're better off getting philly cheese steak from your favorite pizza place for less $$ read more

My coworkers ordered from this place today.. they said it was really good but it was kinda just meh. I had the California Cheese Steak wrap. The meat was really bland. I've ordered from here a few times now. This place is good all-around. However, there is one glaring deficiency that brings Midtown Philly Steaks from a 5 to a 3. It's their Cheese Steaks. They are incredibly generic. I suppose I'd be happy if I got them from some corner deli, but this place specializes in cheese steaks. How are their cheese steaks not next-level good? read more

I frequent this place weekly and most times after a Saturday out, I find myself ordering here before I head home. I've never had any issues here, the food is always great, workers are extremely pleasant to be around, and are very helpful. Legit one of the best cheesesteaks I've ever had and I truly mean that ! Cheesteaks aren't bad, glad they have whiz but DO NOT order delivery, took almost 2 hours and of course was somewhat cold by the time it got here. I imagine if you get it there it is much better. Just had to stick them in the oven when they got here and it was pretty good. Not near philly good but good for jersey. Girlfriend got buffalo chicken and in my opinion I would just stick the the basics. If they improved their delivery I would order again but since that isn't the case, it is probably my last. read more

I've been going to Midtown Philly Steaks since it was under the prior ownership. I generally like their steaks...although they don't come close to genuine Philly Cheese steaks. Lately, however, their service has shown a steady decline. A few weeks ago I ordered a steak without cheese with only peppers. When I got home, I had a cheese steak with peppers. Tonight I ordered a steak with no cheese with only peppers. I picked it up, got it home...no cheese, but no peppers either. It really shouldn't be that difficult to get the order right. Sorry to say, I'm done with this place. read more

Consistently one of the best fast food options in Hoboken, especially late night. Delivery is fast and reliable, prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Chipotle cheesesteak with cherry peppers is phenomenal, as is the Diablo. Solid choice if you live in the area! read more

Not even worth a star. I ordered from this place because my friends raved how good it was. The first time I ordered my food was over an hour late. I figured I would give it another shot the second time around. WRONG! The food was over an hour late again. I called to inquire about the status of my food and was rudely told "sorry we are really busy!" Unacceptable! Aren't most delivery places busy?! And wrong answer to give to a customer! Customers always come first. Sorry. Never will order here again. read more

Solid spot to satisfy grease cravings. Go-to is the Chipotle cheesesteak (Spicy mayo) with either cajun or lemon pepper fries. Ask for grilled onions and cheese since they're both free other toppings are good but cost extra. Sometimes they will put whatever cheese they feel like on your cheesesteak so be warned about that. Also recently they started putting a lot less seasoning on the fries, making them almost tasteless. So if you're like me and want banging flavor even if it means health problems, ask for extra seasoning on your fries. Take a lot of napkins or be otherwise ready for messy eating, since the wrapping on the cheesesteak typically makes the entire sandwich soaked in oil. And finally the staff is pretty friendly and the service is quick. read more

Love their cheesesteaks. Love. I always get the Tavern, which is a cheesesteak with some slices grilled ham thrown on. Always with whiz. It's just a delicious messy sandwich that leaves you licking your fingers afterwards. Only 2 slight complaints: the bread could be fresher, better. But either way, I am inhaling my cheesesteak! And 2nd, they charge a $3 delivery fee. They always deliver quickly though. read more

I placed an order for a cheesesteak, wings and a soda for delivery. When I received my order there was no soda, but fries instead. I called and they told me I ordered the fries and no soda. The guy answering the phone was very rude, and basically didn't give a shit that the order was wrong. read more

Solid cheesesteaks here. Whether you get steak or chicken, the meat is really good and prepared well. The variety of sandwiches is excellent, they are all really good, and the additional toppings are great. It can get messy, and it certainly isn't the best, but this is a good, satisfying cheesesteak. read more

I had been saying for days that I was craving a good Italian deli sandwich, and my partner came across Vito's & Son Italian Deli in Hoboken. Well, it does not get much more authentic than this. What an experience. You know how some Italian restaurants say they make you feel like family? At Vito's, we actually felt it the moment we walked in. The welcome was warm, genuine, and immediate -- the kind of hospitality that cannot be faked. As we browsed the extensive deli menu, I had to ask what "mutz" meant. I am from Chicago, where we usually say "mozz," so this was my first time seeing it written in what I can only call New Jersey-ian. Without hesitation, they gave us a sample of their fresh, in-house-made mozzarella, and it was absolute perfection -- soft, fresh, creamy, and exactly what fresh mozzarella should be. We took several subs to go, and every single one was delicious. I had The Vito's, which was incredibly satisfying -- packed with that classic Italian deli flavor and everything I had been craving in a sub, and then some. My partner had The Sophia Loren, which was also full of flavor and definitely worth ordering again. My mom had what I ordered as a custom Caprese sandwich since I could not find it on the extensive menu -- mutz, fresh basil, tomato, balsamic vinaigrette, and herbs. It was so fresh, simple, and delicious. We also tried the arancini. The traditional one brought back memories of what used to be some of the best arancini in Chicago at Monastero's, which sadly is no longer around. That is not a comparison I make lightly. The cheese arancini was also wonderful, and the sauce was divine. Personal preference: I could have used just a touch more salt in the sauce, but the flavor was still excellent. Of course, we could not leave without dessert. The cannoli had the perfect balance of softness and crunch, and the filling was delicious. And naturally, we had to take home a pound of that fresh mutz. When we got home, we turned the leftovers into the perfect little Italian deli dinner. We thinly sliced the remaining halves of the subs, added fresh mozzarella, sliced tomatoes, balsamic vinaigrette, and wine. It became a charcuterie-style dinner that felt like the perfect ending to the trip. Taking a detour through Hoboken was absolutely worth it. Some Italian restaurants claim to treat you like family, but at Vito's & Son, we truly felt it. We are already planning another stop on our next trip because we still need to try the homemade freezer dishes -- and, of course, the homemade tiramisu. If you have not been to Vito's & Son Italian Deli, do yourself a favor and go. Authentic, welcoming, delicious, and completely worth the detour.

I decided to try the Hawaiian Cheesesteak at Midtown Philly Steaks out of pure curiosity, and I have to say, it absolutely blew me away! I wasn't sure what to expect with the combination of sweet pineapple, savory steak, and melted cheese, but the flavors came together in the most delightful way. The pineapple added just the right touch of sweetness and freshness to balance the rich, juicy steak and gooey cheese. It's a unique twist on the classic cheesesteak, and it works brilliantly. What really impressed me was the creativity behind the menu at Midtown Philly Steaks. They aren't afraid to experiment with bold, unexpected flavors, and the Hawaiian Cheesesteak is a perfect example of how taking risks can lead to amazing results. The sandwich was served on their signature hoagie roll, which was perfectly fresh and held all the ingredients together without getting soggy--a definite plus! Hands down the best cheesesteaks outside of Philly. Perfect rolls and lots of creative signature cheesesteaks like Garlic mozzarella, Diablo or Tavern cheesesteaks and this is only a couple from the list. This is some of the realest cheese steaks I have had. I often visit Philly and this comes close to it. I get the chicken cheesesteak and cheese fries and its better than the other places around here.
