I had a really great and unexpected dinner here on Monday. We were running late and many kitchen's had already closed. We called Napoli an hour before closing and they assured us it would be fine to come dine in. We arrived and service was great. Very attentive and kind, I'm really grateful for all the patience even as they were preparing for close. We ordered half pepp half cheese pizza, garlic shrimp, and calamari. I've only had napoli's for take out and I must say it felt much better dining in. Everything was great. The calamari was my favorite, it came with two sauces. Marinara & sweet chili. Rings, tantacles, very crunchy, very delicious. I prefer my pizza a bit crispier /well done. The garlic shrimp was okay, it just honestly didn't taste much like garlic. Felt more like shrimp and gravy. I'll definitely be back and try more things. The menu is huge. Very grateful to the staff for saving our night & it was nice having the restaurant to ourselves. I completely loved this neighborhood gem. It was opened later than the other places nearby and it's BYOB. Yes! We ordered a few items to share family style. To start we ordered the calamari and Sicilian pizza which both were delicious. Ceaser Salad was yummy and fettucini Alfredo was good too. The food is spectacular, from the pies to the rolls to the calzones & the dinners... unmatched. Im very into sauces & they have some of the best. Their Marsala is a personal favorite and the penne vodka pie add grilled chicken is the bomb. I prefer to call in my order since I make modifications that aren't avail online & they're always very quick to pick up and help you. Pizza was huge! When I ordered over the phone, I was informed that large is 8 slices and medium was 6 slices. We are family of 6 ( 2 adults and 7,5,4,1 year old). Everyone had a slice except one year old and that was definitely enough(which we should've done medium). We ordered 2 pasta: carbonara and shrimp few diavolo. oMG! The second one was spicy but really hit the spot after a long day(we flew red eye and needed something savory, flavorful, spicy food). I'm a return customer and the food has always been delicious and the pricing fair. However, tonight I ordered mushroom raviolis and they up-charged me $8.50 for changing the sauce and getting mushroom. It clearly states on the menu "mushroom, spinach, lobster... 14.95" and whoever took my order asked me what kind of sauce I wanted and listed out the options never mentioning it was extra. I showed them the menu and asked why it was $10 extra and he just rang it up in the computer showing me - when he clicked mushroom + $4.50 and + $3.00 for vodka. I've eaten here a few times now and changed the sauce on the pasta and it was never extra. This is the type of price gouging to lose my business over. The worker just shrugged his shoulders and said sorry - didn't try to make it right. I am obsessed with the pastas at this spot but you can skip the pizza (which is huge). I have ordered takeout and have had the in person experience as well and they have both been great. I've been going to Napoli's (Washington location) for years now and thought I'd come again because I've been craving pasta so much! They never disappoint. Me and my boyfriend got the garlic knots and they were extremely tasty. Perfect amount of salt and garlic. The bread wasn't too soft or tough either. I got my usual delicious spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs are always really big which I love but I would only say that they should put more pasta since they are so big. My boyfriend really enjoyed his chicken parm with linguini too. I also have to say that our waiter (I believe her name is Agnes) was exceptional. She had the biggest smile ever despite it being 2 hours til closing. She was so upbeat and catered to our table in a quick manner and was always available if we needed something. I also love that they give free refills and she immediately refilled our cups. This place is not it. I was craving a classic, simple Sicilian, so I decided to try this spot. Delivery took forever, but that happens. The sauce on the pie tasted super off, and the cheese wasn't what I'd call classic in any sense. Honestly, it barely tasted like pizza. Super bummed. Pizza nicely made, thin, good amount of cheese / sauce ratio. The wrap is nothing phenomenal , it's a wrap, order it. It comes with fries and this nice spicy mayo dipping sauce (sauce was A1) they do have slices as well, so if you don't want to get a whole pie, get a slice! Also you have the 3 size options for all the pies. Do try them out, we will be coming back to try out more dishes.
