Been a few years since I've been here. And the food is still top notch. Bacon cheeseburger still hits the spot, still fresh good quality ingredients. The mozzarella sticks and marinara sauce, excellent! Nicely fried, good cheese pull being it's really loaded. Loved that great crisp and gooey goodness inside. And of course, hot day and I had to try their milkshake. Had vanilla with whipped cream and it was the best milkshake I've had in a very long time. The milkshake can be a meal itself because once it was done, had no room for the rest of my food so I had to wait a bit until I got to enjoy my meal. It wasn't busy when I went so my wait wasn't too long but it does get busy and always best to order ahead being food is prepared when ordered. Few tables inside and outdoor in case you want to dine there. Staff are very nice and helpful and of course, I enjoy the old school music that was playing while I waited. In the interests of full disclosure-- I don't eat at "fast food" restaurants anymore. My days of patronizing McDonald's and Burger King are long behind me (although I did stop at a McDonald's a few years ago after having medical tests done and ordering a bagel/egg concoction and a cup of coffee; I was starving, it hit the spot, and I wrote a reasonably complimentary review of the place, if I remember right). Even 20-plus years ago, when I'd occasionally become nostalgic for a fast-food burger and order one, I invariably regretted it. But I did order from 30 Burgers a few days ago while working in Hoboken, when a co-worker (the new Godfather of Lunch) suggested ordering food and having it delivered. Usually, I would have said no. But I was suffering a migraine that particular day, the medication I take for it was having an adverse effect on me (as it sometimes will; it stops headache pain but makes me feel overall like shite) and I thought food might help settle my nausea and upset stomach. Even the erstwhile Godfather of Lunch joined us in ordering (like me, he's on a diet and it's proving effective), saying, "You people are forcing me to do this," or words to that effect. Nothing like peer pressure! I ordered the Turkey Royal Burger, which sounded simultaneously healthy and decadent. A turkey burger with a fried egg on it (it has been so long since I've indulged in eggs that I think that's what decided me on this), turkey bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. Along with it, I ordered a side of seasoned fries, and what initially started as a medium vanilla milkshake (I try to allow myself ice cream or an ice cream-based product only once a month). The former Godfather said, "You've come this far; you might as well go all the way." I wanted to reply, "You're forcing me to do this," as I agreed and signaled the new Godfather to place an order for the large vanilla milkshake, along with the other stuff I wanted. The food arrived pretty promptly, and the price seemed...at least to someone unused to ordering fast food...relatively reasonable. I can't remember what my co-workers ordered, but I was sorta "meh" about the whole experience. The burger was probably the best part of it. It was a large, sloppy mess, but that was satisfying to the latent glutton that I can never entirely exorcise from my psyche. And I have to say that the turkey bacon actually did taste like bacon. The fries were less satisfying, less tasty. Maybe it would have made a difference if we had actually sat down in the restaurant and ate them while they were still hot, but...despite the promptness of the delivery...they were, at best, semi-warm, and pretty tasteless. There were plenty of them, and I ended up disposing of a goodly portion (I don't like throwing away food, but I wasn't going to take them home, and I figured better they wind up in the garbage can than on my waistline or in my arteries). And the milkshake? Another co-worker ordered a medium sized milkshake and my "large" had perhaps only a half inch more of space involved in it. Which meant it probably wouldn't have made much of a difference if I had ordered a medium or a large. It was sweet, and thoroughly drinkable (if not especially tasty), but I regretted that I had used my monthly allotment of ice cream (or milkshake) for this. Oh well...chalk it up to experience! Final verdict? Not great, not bad. They have a lot of variety when it comes to burgers, and if you're into the "fast food" version, this place might rate high on your list. But, speaking purely for myself, if I do get a hankering for a cheeseburger and fries (and it does happen occasionally), I think I'll just stop at a diner or even a regular restaurant in order to indulge that urge. As far as I'm concerned, 30 Burgers is just ok. read more

The nachos were mid. They used lettuce instead of cilantro. It's nicer to have beans in the nachos. Not that these are mandatory, but overall the taste was just a concoction of various ingredients that didn't fit together. read more

After a thorough search of good burger places that also had chicken sandwiches we came across 30 Burgers. I throughly enjoyed my experience here. I actually had the chicken sandwich and my daughter had the burger. My chicken sandwich was delicious. The chicken thin and lightly fried, the bun was soft and delicious. My daughter had the burger which she loved. The place is not big at all. They have some seating inside and outside. Reasonably priced and customer service was great. No complaints here. They also have a huge menu so be sure to check it out before going if you can. read more

Pretty good burger but reeeaally greasy (which is sometimes exactly what you need). Great mozzarella sticks and honestly milkshake was super good as well. Perfectly thick but not too chunky. The staff was really nice and helpful! I wish there were a little more space in the restaurant, it feels like you're sitting on top of the strangers next to you. Small burger spot at the end of Hoboken with a large menu filled with awesome burger options, hot dogs, sides and milkshakes! Let me start with the milkshake.. the oreo milkshake was AMAZING and really satisfied my cookies and cream craving! Next, the truffle fries were fried to a crisp and had just enough truffle to not overpower the taste of the potato, which I appreciated! If you're looking for a great burger, this is the spot! It's small, so eat in is limited, but great for pickup. The selection is just that...30 versions of burgers with a few other types of takeaway comfort food. The burgers are juicy and cooked just to order with a lot of flavor. Service is fast-food quick and efficient. When the burger craving hits, 30 burgers should be tops on the list. Summer time seating expands a bit with a few out door tables. read more

My new burger spot in Hoboken!! Came here for the 4th of July and had a great experience. The gentleman working the counter gave us great recommendations and was so kind/friendly. We got classic burgers, chili cheese dogs, and fries. The hotdog was great quality!! The burger is quite large and filling. These style fries are my favorite. I have to give props to 30 Burgers, giving it a go right around the corner from a newly-opened Shake Shack. 30 Burgers is exactly that, a picture menu above the cash register with 30 burger styles to choose from. I chose the Classic Cheeseburger with a side of fries and got it to go (there's not many tables, it seems more delivery or takeout vibe). The burger was solid, a big patty & bun and dressed well. The (seasoned) fries were also good. I would go again and try some of the more wild burger concoctions on the menu. I'm not sure how late they are open, but it also seems a good spot for the bar crowd. read more

I ordered through Uber Eats. The food came ice cold and soaking wet. The packaging was paper bags. They weren't closed. The onion rings were thrown, loose, in the brown paper bag. My order was placed in a flimsy plastic bag that wasn't closed. The bags were WET!! It coat me 42 dollars and because of poor packaging and an extremely careless driver I threw it away. I was honestly a bit skeptical when I stumbled into this joint; it was a delicious burger and fries though. And while they were low on bottled water and bottled ketchup, the clerk was attentive and gave me plenty of packets and served my food directly to my table. I stopped in here yesterday with my grandson, and honestly this place was great. Blew my socks off. I wasn't expecting much as it was a bit of a hole in the wall, but it's clean, the girl at the register was friendly and attentive, the food came out quickly, and was legitimately great. 30 burgers is pretty much strictly takeout - thankfully, it's Takeout That's open late, and makes excellent burgers and fries and milkshakes. While the chicken wings aren't the best I've ever had, they're certainly decent and it's not their specialty anyway. I ordered for delivery. Classic burger, Philly burger, and onion rings. Delivery was quick and easy. Delivery person had the insulated bag open when he arrived, so my food could have been hotter. Still warm though. Onion rings were disappointing. Greasy, burnt, and just in a brown paper bag. The classic burger was tasty but they didn't get the condiments correct. I just took a bite into the most disgusting wings I've ever eaten. They were massive for some reason, burnt, mostly breading, tendons and fat, and made me feel sick.
