    Mushroom Ravioli
    Gabby L.

Came in on a Tuesday and was sat immediately. The restaurant was very quaint and cozy, especially for a rainy evening. Our server Olivia was very attentive and made some great suggestions for us out of towners. We decided to start with a Ceasar salad which they make the dressing in house, it had good flavor but i like added fresh pepper on my ceasar's. The croutons were also buttery which was a pleasant surprise. I had the mushroom ravioli, anything truffle infused is usually my go to. The ravioli had very good flavor, and a good balance of ingredients and truffle. The cream sauce was so delicious and I loved the added mushrooms, parm and parsley on top. My fiance got the midtowner. He said it was very good, he really enjoyed their in house bread. The bacon was perfectly crunchy and gave a good balance with the chicken and pesto aioli. We got a cannoli for dessert, it was also very good but I do wish they had a pistachio one! My only thing about the cannoli is I probably would have skipped out on the chocolate sauce. Overall very satisfying, especially after a few days of traveling!

    The Gump

Atmosphere is definitely a pizza shop. The pizza I ordered, The Gump, had just the right amount of spice with the jalapeños and the crust is not thick. Service was good and they were pretty busy! I will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

This is a great place folks!! If you haven't been here, you are missing out. The vibe is a friendly neighborhood feel. As I sat waiting, I noticed a lot of folks coming through that are obviously regulars here. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. Don't let the name fool you, not only do they have the best pizza in Montgomery, the menu is highly varied with several entree salad offerings as well as numerous pasta dishes. There is truly something for anyone here. There is a great offering of wines and a varied beer menu. I had the 3 meat calzone. Absolutely fabulous, my compliments to the pizza chef.

A great place for families or date night. Lunch is as enjoyable as dinnner and both are better now with the new choices of on tap beer.

When our Tour Bus opened its doors, the staff's eyes did not widen with fright, rather twinkle with excitement. For those of you who are old enough, you will understand when I say this place made me feel nostalgic because the wave of aroma that hit me when I walked through the doors was that of pizza in from the 1980s. It was marvelous. In addition to all of the standard pizza treats and options, they had a great lineup of sandwiches, calzones, and salad that made every single person in my group happy. Moreover, they even had great beer on tap. If you like dark beers like me you'll love the Porter that they have in house. You would think with a group our size that we would've been waiting all night for Service, but that food started coming out within five minutes of the first order, and everyone was happy. This is a great place for small groups, large groups, and everything in between. It's worth saying that I was inspired for the first time in my life to eat a meatball sandwich. I could only handle half of the sandwich because it was so large, but the next time I'm in Montgomery I will definitely go back to this place for another. I think they may have ruined me for all meatball sandwiches everywhere else.

Yes that photo is a small! I heard a few other people in the restaurant comment to the same. We weren't about to complain though as it was just what we needed with fresh veggies and the Gorgonzola dressing was epic! We then moved on to our entree of the Rigatoni Bolognese adding meatballs. There was a hint of sweetness that we got from the cognac and cream! The Sunday gravy component was amazing. I wish that we could have taken a jar of it with us. My husband asked today if I thought we maybe able to duplicate. We maybe able to get close but I double if we could duplicate. The atmosphere was comfortable and upscale without being stuffy while also a laidback bar feel where others could watch the World Cup while enjoying a pizza and beer. By the way, we watched a pizza go by our table and almost snatched a piece. It looked and smelled amazing. If we are ever back in Montgomery we'll be back and would recommend to others. Thanks Blake at the Doubletree Hotel for the recommendation!!

My guy called to make sure they would be open since it the week of Christmas. The guy on the phone, after answering that they were open, proceeded to text a menu and the address to us. Great customer service!!! Upon arriving, and after a little confusion as to how to place an order (due to the coffee shop staff), we ordered a meat lovers.com and a build your own with Alfredo base, bacon and beef. Both were personal sized. After a short week and the owner coming out to give us an update on our order, the pizzas arrived. They looked just as delicious as pictures had showed. They also tasted as good as they looked. The cheese was really cheesing, and had that mozzarella pull you see in movies and magazines. The toppings were fresh and flavorful. Both the red sauce and the Alfredo sauce were measured perfectly. The crust was a star and could easily be a meal by itself...it was just that good. The pizzas should come with a side of red sauce for dipping the crust in. The owner (I think his name is Cedric) came out , chatted with us, discovered we were from Birmingham, and apologized that we didn't get to visit his regular location as they are making some repairs. He was very down to earth and we encouraged him to look into coming to the Birmingham market. We could tell that he put his heart into his work and he has taught that also to his employees. I really hopes he looks in to branching out. He has something special with these pizzas. If you're in the area, please check them out. You won't regret it!

People around here insist on shredded but you can order a 'Build Your Own' with fresh mozzarella." That young lady deserves a raise. I don't know her salary, but trust me you should pay her more because she is fantastic at her job and is the reason for four stars instead of three. She kept smiles on the faces of everyone with a great sense of humor. As for the restaurant, it's a nice pizzeria with cool pictures on the wall and even a Ms. Pac-Man game in the corner. They have two tables on the patio outside but plenty of seating inside. We ordered the Build Your Own Pizza but basically made it a Margherita pizza with fresh mozzarella to go. Got to try and keep it somewhat authentic. We had a few beers on the patio and Ashleigh came by one time with samples of a chocolate shake that has some stout beer and round chocolate cookie cereal pieces on top. It was delicious. Unfortunately, our pizza had to be reheated by the time we got back to my sister's house. It was ok but it's not fair to rate it since it wasn't fresh from the oven. Crust was halfway decent. I'd try them again for sure but I'd eat at the restaurant next time.
