ORIGINAL 6/23/26: Behind our backs, they were planning to keep our truck instead of sending it back to Ford credit as promised, as it was a lease return. They insisted it wasn't worth what we wanted for it, and that they did not want the truck, but... they convinced us to leave it with them, even though it belonged to us for another month, and ended up planning to sell it for more than we were asking for it - without telling us, or should I say, very purposely omitting that information. They took the time to photograph, detail, and list the truck for sale on their website at a substantial gain of over $7000 while we accepted a lesser trim package than what we went there for. Hence why they omitted their actual plan. I reached out to the salesman that we worked with, and the general manager, and I was responded to by a different sales manager, who we didn't deal with nor reach out to. He offered a very alarming explanation, that created further suspicions. He offered to send proof they sent the truck back to Ford Credit, and then became completely unresponsive to several attempts to contact them. I reached out multiple times to several people within the dealership to no avail. My advice - stay away from these people. And to the dealership: I'm not done, and I hope you get exactly what you deserve--and with that, a sincere f*ck you. UPDATE 7/27/26: We're honestly amazed that Roseville Midway Ford thinks complete silence is an acceptable way to treat customers. We've reached out repeatedly and have been ignored every single time. Apparently, accountability ends the moment they have your business. Instead of addressing legitimate concerns, they've chosen to hide behind unanswered messages hoping we'll eventually give up. Their refusal to respond says more than any excuse ever could. If this is how they treat customers after the sale, imagine how they'll treat you when something goes wrong. We'll continue sharing our experience, so others know exactly what to expect: a dealership that's quick to make promises and even quicker to disappear when it's time to stand behind them. Shame on all of you. You'd think a group of grown men would have at least the collective backbone to own the consequences of the shady business deals they knowingly created. I did a negative review on Google reviews about the sales experience at Roseville Midway Ford when we bought my wife's new 2025 Ford Bronco. This review is now about simply trying to set up a service appointment for my vehicle's first oil change and maintenance there. Today is a Tuesday, and I first tried to get my tasks done through their online appointment service but I wasn't able to get the exact service I was looking for and I didn't want to pay for something I didn't want. So... I did an online chat with a bot, and it said it would contact someone who could help me and that person would call me back. No response. So.... After more than two hours passed I tried calling the number for their Service Department (listed on their website). The phone rang for over a minute with nobody picking up and no message. So... I called their Sales Department (listed on their website). Again, the phone rang for over a minute with nobody picking up and no message. So... Using the email address they provided online I sent them an email, spelling out exactly what I wanted them to do. After over an hour there is still no response to that email. It's the middle of the day, it's a Tuesday, it's not a holiday - and there is still no response in any form, no way to leave a message, and my opinion of their customer service could not be much lower. I don't understand this at all. I have no personal axe to grind with anyone there, and I actually liked the salesman we bought the Bronco from that day, but considering almost everything after we decided to buy the vehicle I can definitely guarantee that when I buy my next truck (it'll likely be a diesel F-250) I'll be happy to buy it almost anywhere other than Roseville Midway Ford. read more

Brought my 2018 Ford F150 3.0 Powerstroke into Midway and my experience was MID. In May, temps were 50 degrees and I had A/C trouble blowing warm air (wanted it fixed before the summer heat). I had them diagnose the problem, called and said the truck was done. Went to pick it up and was charged $170 for the diagnoses saying it was "Fine". Figured out the truck WAS NOT in the shop when tested, it was blowing 50 degree outside ambient temperature air so their was no way to prove the truck's system was faulty. Brought my F150 to Auto Fix in Ottertail, MN and THEY found the A/C compressor was shot. Went to get a refund at MIDway for the bad diagnoses, was told theirs "Nothing we can do" when given proof their diagnosis was incorrect. It should have been correct the first time. They did not honor a refund. Left a message with service manager, no call back. They do not care about you. They do NOT honor their business/service on your vehicle and other reviews explain this. I was very happy with how Dan followed up with my used car inquiry. He checked in 3 times... not too much and not too little. He was very helpful and friendly when both my husband and I stopped at different times to test-drive the car. He was both professional and friendly. Once we zeroed in on the car, he was willing to work with us on a couple of items, unlike 2 other dealerships that we had also visited. When we decided to buy we were there in the evening and they stayed open past their operating hours to close the deal. They had the car for an extra day to change the cabin filter, we couldn't get back up there for quite a few days so he offered to drive our newly purchased used car to our house. (Again, this was definitely not the case with another dealer we had visited.) After purchase when I called the dealership to see if we could still purchase specialty plates, the woman, Christy was very helpful and friendly. Overall a lovely place to do business. Got a new set of tires and Quick lane charged me $160 for new lug nuts that did not need to be replaced. I know that the factory lugs do swell, been there and finest day about 1.5 years ago so I switched them to solid steel lug nuts myself. Also quick lane had just done an oil chance (and tire rotation) about 3 months ago and didn't mention the lug nuts at all. Now all of a sudden they tell me they 'had to replace them'. When I went to pick up the vehicle I challenged the guy that checked me out and he tried to tell me that 'all lug nuts swell eventually' (sorry that's BS, there is no way less than 2 yr old solid steel lug nuts were swollen, and even more unbelievable that they were fine 3 months ago but suddenly now they were swollen) and then when I asked if he could at least do something about the price, he tried to tell me 'we don't actually make money on lug nuts' and he couldn't do anything because the manager had 'sold' them to me. I'm sorry but ain't no way there cost in crappy OEM lug nuts is $160 for 20. Worst yet, now they threw out my solid lug nuts and now these are going to swell again and I'll have to replace them, again. And no, no one sold me anything or even asked if they could change them, they called and said, you car is done, we l 'had to' change the lug nuts, your total is $x,xxx. On top of all that I was told the Goodyear mail in rebate was $120. I was given no info on how to claim it and when I did go on the Goodyear rebate site, the rebate was only $80. Total rip off. Adding insult to injury, the car has had every scheduled service done at this dealership and gotten 2 sets of tires since it was brand new in 2015! read more

Ford Recall. Scheduler made an appointment 3 weeks in advance, but when I brought the car in, they "didn't have it" at the service desk. He said I should leave the car all day, it would be done by 4. (Realization: Recall jobs don't pay, so they don't put them on the schedule.) Uber home, Uber back. $. 4:15pm, My car hadn't been touched. Staff said, "You can call tomorrow." He didn't like that I was upset. His answer to each question: shrug. I went immediately to New Brighton Ford, where they treated me wonderfully, with respect and professionalism. Waited 1 year to get a truck, that's on Ford. When I picked up my truck it had 2 scratches on it. They could care less, I took it to a body shop to get them buffed out myself. The truck is a Maverick, very hard to get. The seat is crooked, it really is crooked. I took in the next day and was told to get something with better lumbar support. The seat is fine, but it's Crooked. I tried to call the Service Manger, 3 messages, no return call. I have a new truck with a crooked seat, the dash makes a rattle sound when I hit a bump, and the seat is crooked killing my back. I have no back issues and I'm a normal size guy. I find my Kia Soul more comfortable so I drive that. SO...to sum up, I have a new truck with 248 miles on it, that I can't drive, and No One cares. Now what? read more

I ordered a 2022 Ford Maverick in October 2021. Because of supply chain issues my ordered was converted, by the dealership, to a 2023. I was assured more than once that everything on the transitioned order was the same and told that if I had changed anything it would be considered a "new" order and I would lose my spot in line. I was also contacted more than once asking if I wanted to remove any features to get the truck faster. I was clear with every person at the dealership it was important to me to have all features I originally ordered and was willing to wait longer to get them. Truck arrived Aug 2023. I immediately noticed there was no spray-in bedliner. After some digging, we were told that the liner had been removed from the 2023 package. We were never told of any changes to the packages between the model years. I was still understanding despite this and paid the additional amount for the dealership to install the bedliner. When I got my truck back, I noticed that there was no adaptive cruise control. I contacted the dealership, and they eventually said that those features were something else that was "missed" when my order was converted as the packages had changed. Manager told me that there was no way to retrofit those features and that there wasn't anything they could do unless I wanted to order another truck from them (and wait how long?), and then trade in my current truck when the new one arrived (no doubt at a financial loss for me). I was so upset, and instead of apologizing at any point or offering any solutions, she at one point told me nastily that she was "just speaking to me the way I was speaking to her". Begrudgingly, after I directly asked her, she acknowledged that it was up to her sales associates to note for changes between model years because I was never shown the order form, only receiving an email from Ford that the order was put in on my behalf by Midway Ford. I expressed that it was wrong that they were offering no solutions, and she said she would get back to me. A couple days later when she called back she seemed very annoyed to tell us that she spoke to the owner and he said that he would give us a "good will" check in the amount of $750 (value of missing features). She repeatedly told us that she wanted it to be clear that Midway was under any obligation to do anything for us, because we didn't "catch" the missing features during our 15 min test drive, and we still took possession of the truck. She continued to say this in a way as if blaming us, the customer, for not catching their mistake among the chaos of picking up our truck (missing spray-in liner, their power went out and we had to sign "rental" agreements to "rent" our vehicle from the dealership even after I provided them is a 13k down payment, & the fact that we would have the truck less than two days before we handed it back over to them for 6 days to have the bedliner installed). She stated this so many times that I told her I thought it was really wrong to blame the customer for their mistakes, and we had done nothing wrong. She immediately became defensive & said something to the effect of "Ok, you know what? I'm retracting the offer, you won't be getting any check." All I could say was "Are you serious?". I then asked to speak to the owner. She immediately said he wasn't available. I asked her to have him call me. She told me he would. Nearly a month later I haven't received a call. I have never encountered a business or a manager who treats their customers so poorly, especially when the business is the one who made multiple mistakes. Any response to this review from the dealership would only be an attempt for them to publicly save face. If they really cared the owner would have called, apologized for the mistakes (something the manager never did, by the way), and offer to make it right. read more

took my car into quick lane and left it. when i came to pick it up, my wife told me the "oil change" light was still on. Upon opening the hood, the engine compartment we full of leaves, and it looked like nothing was touched. They marked washer fluid was full, but it wasn't. I can not believe they did anything except take my money. Tell tale signs, the car was never moved from the spot we left it, the driver's seat was never moved (and my wife is a small person), and nothing was wiped down inside the engine. My Ford Escape was driving normally before I took it in for a routine oil change and break switch replacement. 15 minutes after picking it up i notice my car would not drive past 40 MPH and it smelled like burning. I called immediately and the supervisor had the nerve to tell me the whatever it's name part goes out all the time and that was probably the cause. Sorry, your technicians and shoddy workmanship are the cause. Waiting for a tow truck now. Will keep you updated. Update: 1/15/19 Added 1 star for the free tow back to the dealership. The manager admitted that the break switch was not adjusted correctly. They replaced the switch and offered a full refund. But driving home afterward my breaks seem 'weak'. I'll get them checked 1st thing in the AM for good measure. Will keep you updated. Update 1/16/19 Removed a star. Went to another ford dealership this morning on my break because my breaks seem weaker than normal. They tell me I have no front breaks, less than 1mm padding. The service manager Dave is great. He was very forthcoming about the timeline and issues that came up along the way. I was able to ask questions and get well-developed answers. I was also relieved that the issue wasn't as serious as I had expected. The downsides of my experience include going a week without my car, (they had an unfortunate power outage that delayed them even longer that expected but did call me to let me know), being billed for services that were not performed (they agreed to take it off the bill and later addressed it internally), and being recommended a $200 repair that I could do myself with a YouTube video and a $20 part from the store. I appreciated that they brought it to my attention but am glad I did my own research. When I paid the bill, the car was parked in the complete opposite site of the lot from where I was directed, so I was walking in the cold rain looking for it. It was a holiday weekend, so I get that their normal staff were off but yet another unfortunate snafu. I would recommend this place but also suggest that you read the bill before you pay it, do your own research to ask the right questions, and try to keep your communication with the same person. I think the mix-ups arose when I wasn't dealing directly with Dave the whole time. My experience with Ford dealers in other areas have been horrific, so this was a pleasant surprise. read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. It took me 6 weeks to get a service appointment. Very poor communication and the service staff don't care. I asked them when it would be done and they told me "whenever we get to it". Called back the 2nd and 3rd day - they told me it was not even started yet. It took 5 days to change my oil and get a tire repaired and they didn't even put my spare away, just threw it in the back of the truck ready to be stolen. They never even looked at the 3 other items I asked them about. Cashier was rude and unorganized. I get you are busy and maybe understaffed but please be courteous and do good work. Poor customer service ever. After calling me my is ready for pickup when i get there they told me they couldn't find my car key

I had two issues: The rear windshield wiper motor was seized and needed to be replaced and I knocked the connector of the rear window defroster off the rear window, breaking it. The service advisor called that they were going to charge me $129 to diagnose the rear window wiper motor and "only" $69 to diagnose the rear window defroster. This is a diagnosis only, for the problem I already told them (which was obvious just by looking at it). I should have objected, but i figured they'd waive the charge when the work was done. A few hours later I received a call that the diagnosis was done. The rear windshield wiper motor had burned out and needed to be replaced. The rear window defroster line had been knocked off the rear window and needed to be replaced. They seemed to read my intake statement right back to me. The cost to repair the two issues was way more than it was worth so I declined the service. The "diagnosis" still cost $200. They could have told me over the phone the cost to replace the two broken parts, but no, they had to make me drive in, get someone to pick me up and then get a ride back to pick it up. And charge me $200 for the privilege. And when I picked it up, I found it had been parked with the lights on and the battery was dead. I had to get one of the workers to jump me to get out of there. No apology, just a snippy attitude that I was asking for something I hadn't paid for. Go to an independent shop. Don't service your Ford here. read more

Purchased a new car from them so I thought I'd give them the business when it came time for some simple recall work. When I got home I noticed a dent in the driver's door and scratches in the window tint.This is the only place this damaged could have occurred. Shame on me for not going over the car closer when I picked it up. I assumed they'd give me my car back in the same condition as I left it with them. I wish I could give this place negative stars, every time I think about my experience here it makes my blood boil. I took in my truck, f350 turbo diesel to have an oil leak from the top of the engine diagnosed. I already knew that I had a very very small leak from my oil drain plug because I needed a new copper ring. I was also experiencing slop in my steering and I wanted them to look into that as well. About two hours after dropping off my truck I get a call from one of the service advisers. He tells me I need a new oil pan and the "air tubes" running from my heads to my turbo were leaking oil. He tells me it will be over $3k and seriously asks me if I want them to start doing the work. I immediately tell him to STOP everything and take my truck off the lift. I tell them I will be in within a half hour to pickup my truck. I get in and the service adviser tries to BS me like I'm fresh off the farm. I know all the ins and outs of my truck and the only reason I was going to have them diagnose the issue was so I could take it home and do the repairs myself. I ask for the service manager because I flat out am not going to pay for them to tell me I have an oil leak from an air tube and he insists that his tech did the work and I have to pay. I end up paying the diagnosis fee because I have to get back to work. The next day I stopped at the ford truck dealership on Broadway and tell them what happened. I showed them the invoice that Midway gave me clearly stating I had an oil leak from "air charge tubes." It made me feel pretty good to see their reaction and to have a laugh at midways expense. Either they have no idea what they are doing or they were pulling the old "we need to change your blinker fluid" trick and trying to rip me off. I implore you, do not take your vehicle here. Their service department is untrustworthy and they will take advantage of you. They told me I needed a new oil pan because I had a bad copper gasket on my drain plug and they told me I needed to replace my air charge tubes because they were leaking oil. purchased a $116,000 2021 escalade from this dealership and had it shipped in. it arrived with a chipped windshield, wires cut to a aftermarket stereo system they were suppose to put back to factory, 1200 mile over due for a oil change, rotors shot to the point it couldn't even been driven without violently vibrating, less than half a tank of gas, no wash, interior plastics scratched all to pieces, etc. i called the dealership and and was transferred to a gentleman and told him about the issues. he was extremely defensive right out the gate and i asked for his name and title. he informed me that's none of my business. yes that's correct the new car sales manager that i just spent $116,000 with told me his name is none of my business then hung up the phone. i then called part and got his name. mr tom kulick was it so i called back and he picked up and immediately said i just spoke to my sales rep and he said nothing at all was wrong with the car when it left so you must be lying. the absolute most insane thing this man said was i quote directly from him, "this is what you can expect buying a used car on the internet. let me clarify, a 6 month old $116,000 car this man said i can expect a damaged windshield, cut stereo wires, shot rotors, busted interior plastics, 1200 mile overdue oil change, and a in op radio all of which could have been addressed in their service department if they cared about customer service. i asked for his email to send pictures too. he said you can send pictures but that's not gonna tell anything. well unfortunately for him the pictures were time stamped and in his parking lot with the service center sign in the background showing the damages. i can't make this up, he never called me back and will not pick up the phone now. i have left 5 voicemails for him, 2 sticky notes from receptionist and 3 emails no response. he said if i could prove his guy wrong he would fire him. well i proved him wrong and i guarantee nothing was done that's why he won't answer. he's a coward and won't own up to the fact they lied and try top make it right. i also tried calling the owner/ gm john tichenor. left many voicemails, sticky notes with no call back. i would think if this was happening at your dealership you would want to know about it and get to the bottom especially on a $116,000 vehicle. he clearly doesn't care same goes for the general sales manager carrie rosendahl. left many voicemails, sticky notes and no call back. ill end this by saying the famous word of tom kulick, " this is what you can expect buying a car on the internet". so whether your buying a $20k car or a $116k car like me they do not care whats wrong with it and will not take car of any issues. i would find another place to buy from. they have been caught lying, screening calls, and send $100k cars out the door with thousands in damages and wont pick up the phone anymore after the sale is done. i am filing a complaint with the bbb, motor vehicle commission, kbb, car.com, and any social media platform i can find. they do not deserve to be in business treating people like this regardless of the price tag of your vehicle. check out what $116,000 get you in the pics below. read more

Its linda funny you think taking your car to a dealer is outrageous, not at Midway, I've paid more for oil changes at Jiffy Lube ugggg. I am truly disappointed with this place. I brought my 2002 ford ranger in for a spongey brake pedal and decided to flush all the fluids as well since this service has never been done. The service advisor Mark Bjornnes called me and told me they diagnosed the problem and I needed new brakes which was an additional several hundred dollars. So I gave the ok to proceed, upon receiving my truck the problem still existed, it was even more pronounced than when I first brought it in so I called Mark and he said bring it in we will take care of you. I brought the truck back dropped it off ( huge inconvenience) got a call from Mark and he's beating around the bush, I said just tell me what it is, he said I had a bad ABS sensor and it would cost $900 to fix. WTF! They were supposed to diagnose the problem and now they wanted to charge me to fix the exact issue I brought it in for, if the tech had driven the truck after the brakes were done they would have known the issue still existed. I took my truck to another shop and it turns out that all it was, was the master cylinder... couple hundred dollars later problem solved! Avoid this service center!!!!!! read more

Worst experience at a car dealer ever. Had an appointment, due to the covid situation, to go there for a test drive. Arrived on time, no one at greeting desk, so I waited while walking around the showroom for 15 minutes without anyone approaching to ask if I needed help. Finally decided to ask at their business office/desk for assistance, and they pulled me up and informed me that the salesman that I was supposed to work with was not on site but was off somewhere picking up parts or something. I asked if I could view the car while continuing to wait and they said that it was not on site either because it had some minor hail damage. Mind you, I had driven over an hour to get to this dealer and they didn't even have the car on site and the salesman that was assigned to me couldn't be bothered to be on site at the time of my appointment either. And of course, there was no apology offered. Just lame excuses about how the salesman probably didn't know the car had hail damage. What about him being there at all? Or checking on the car before the appointment so he could let me know not to make the drive? Pathetic customer service. I called 24 hours later, and they said no one has checked in the car. I called the following morning and they said someone would work on it that day. I called that evening; no one had looked at and they weren't sure when my car would be looked at. I told them my car had been sitting there for a full 48 hours and asked if there were other cars there that arrived after me but had already been serviced? he said he did not know. Finally they worked on my car 72 hours after it sat in the lot untouched. It was summer 2020 after George Floyd's murder, so I had protest signs in my car. I suspect the workers there were discriminating against the vehicle owner and the employees are racists. I would never go there again or recommend other people to go there. I had my husband go there and he stated they were cold, only gave excuses, and gave poor customer service. He also will never go here again. read more

Greg, the finance guy, explained everything thing clearly and double checked paper work at all phases of the deal. Now I'm trusting future service visits will be parallel with their work. read more

Horrible experience. Made an appointment for 8:30am this morning for a small RECALL issue on my 2014 Escape truck. Arrived at 8:30am, to be told that they were running behind on appointments and would need to keep the car overnight. Not a big deal, until they mentioned that they had zero rental cars available. They directed me to the nearest rental location, Enterprise, but could not use their shuttle system to drive me there unless I waited over 1 hour. Stated that they were unable to reimburse any costs for the rental car, although the need for the rental car was caused by the dealership. Would not recommend. read more

I have been getting my vehicles serviced at Roseville Midway Ford for over twelve years. The service has always been pretty great until recently. I brought my car in for service back in April and they suggested I replace all four rotors and sets of pads. After the brake service my car started making screeching noises when I would apply the brakes. I brought it back and they were unable to replicate the issue. When I picked up my car the service manager, Nick was very rude and condescending. I brought it back two more times and they were finally able to diagnose the problem (defective brake pads). The day after I picked up my car the noise continued. Over the last four months I have left several voicemails for the service director Jim Murphy and he failed to return my calls. I finally was able reach him today, he did not have a solution for brake issue and told me screeching brakes are normal. He followed up with suggesting I should take my cars elsewhere for service. read more

I am continually impressed by the Service I receive at Midway Ford in Roseville. From check in to check out, I am always advised of what is happening to my vehicle. If I need repairs I am given all the options for timing, price etc. They are extremely friendly and the service recvd is top notch. They absolutely have the best technicians! The finance girl could not get my wife a loan. When asked how many banks they go through she said 4, period. We went to North County Ford and they had no trouble finding my wife a new car loan. By the way, her credit score is 689. Not great, but good enough. The bigger problem was the way the finance girl made my wife feel like garbage and told me that as a husband I should "step up " and co-sign. Un freakin believable. Run, don't walk to any other place if you want a ford. On a better note the Ford Taurus rock's!!! read more

Tried calling last Thursday and just got a busy signal. I went in any way and found a vehicle I wanted to test drive. The 10 minutes I waited for help eventually had me leaving and driving to Superior Ford. I wound up not buying the vehicle ( sorry Ford), but I had a much better experience at Superior. If you want good service, stay away. read more
