Worse experience I've ever had purchasing from a dealership. First of all, their return policy is completely false. I tried to return the vehicle after having it for one day. I was informed that the time period for returns starts once the paperwork begins, not once I receive the vehicle and I live out of state, so it was delivered. I had a very bad experience here, first off I was told that on my 20,000 dollar cash purchase. That if there was anything we could do for you upon delivery of the vehicle let us know. I gave them a small list of things I requested. Which the sales rep said were all do able. When I come in to pick up the vehicle none of my demands were met. The manager David Larson told me my salesperson is new and didn't know he couldn't make those things happen. They didn't even have the vehicle washed for me. My 2014 GMC ACADIA DENALI went in for shocks replacement and break adjustments then i was recommended by the mechanics to have fluid exchange and transmission flush i agreed upon the professional recommendation just to have my vehicle that had no transmission issues prior to service was severely damaged due to transmission service recommended on my vehicle of 167000miles when they had no record of the service ever being performed which is NOT recommended for any vehicle that has never had the service performed over 75000miles.. i have had my vehicle towed back to Roseville MN from Duluth Minnesota 3 times at my expense of $7per mile for 149.6 miles one way with no sound results from returning to correct the issues caused by the dealerships repair attempts. I have had many experiences at car dealerships, and I am no longer surprised by the behavior of salesmen... I mean, they are in business TO make a sale. I guess in today's world when most salesmen are no longer paid on commission, it is surprising to me how much of their job is solely based on the pitch. They work you over from start to finish and don't let you out of their sellers grasp until they feel like they have you... I guess unfortunately for Jeff (our salesmen) he didn't know that I have an extensive background in sales... You can sit there and give me timelines, you can talk all about how wonderful the dealership is, you can even make a point to talk to me about why it would benefit me to purchase from you... but when you don't know the product you are trying to sell it makes it really hard for me to take you seriously. I test drove a Hybrid and I actually feel like I explained more about how the car worked to the salesmen than he explained to me. The car itself was very nice, but it was extremely overpriced (with a non-negotiating clause attached to the sale), and without any real information on it I was not about to make a purchasing decision. After the salesmen (and even the sales manager) told me that they could be my financing, which I know they couldn't, and told me that there was no objection that I couldn't overcome on their own I finally got fed up with them trying to literally pressure me into buying it that I told them no. I don't care about your 3day/300mile return exchange policy, I don't care if I have a whole YEAR, if you try to push people into making a 20,000 dollar purchase in a shitty economy and act like an ass because I say I want to keep looking at other options, don't be surprised if your sales drop. They were friendly, however not very professional... I had the best experience with Walser GMC in Roseville! After viewing multiple vehicles throughout the day at various dealerships, we ended up stopping on our way home (a Saturday evening) as we were looking for a used GMC. We walked the lot and found the one we were after. The dealership had closed over 30 minutes earlier, but we saw customers inside and decided to call in case someone would answer. The Sales Manager, Dave, answered the phone and came out, and even let us take it for a quick test drive on the spot despite the time. We wanted the vehicle, so he assured us it was ours, and we made an appointment to fill out the paperwork the following business day. At that time we worked with Matt Leonard - another great experience! Tables were spaced out, hand-sanitizer was found throughout, and everyone was wearing masks. I purchased my GMG Acadia Denali a little over a year ago.. it was 2 years used. My sales experience was not great. I was very interested and set on the vehicle I wanted. I had spoke with the salesman and took a test drive. The salesman wasn't very helpful, didn't explain too much about the vehicle or try to sell me in it one but. After reviewing myself and after test driving over the weekend I decided that was the one I wanted. Tried to contact the salesman a few times and nothing back which resulted in me contacting a different manager to set up a time to purchase. After the rocky sales experience, I drove away in my new beautiful ride which I absolutely love! And then.... everything started going wrong with the vehicle. Fresh out and first time attempting to turn in the air con. Air con didn't work... which led to the shop. The service department are amazing! These guys are great and very friendly and always go above and beyond. Sadly.. I have had to bring my vehicle back to the shop almost every month or every other since I purchased it. Part of me now wonders of the salesman never talked because he knew what was going to happen to the vehicle after the purchase. Again though, service team is always nice. I have a 2012 GMC Terrain on a 3-year lease from Walser Buick Roseville. I have continously been impressed with the professionalism, courtesy and level of service that I have received here, from the first day I walked in and wound up with a lease, to every time I have been there for service since. For example, this past weekend I brought my Terrain in for a scheduled oil change. When I got into the service department to check-in, they informed me that I was actually due for other services as well. Even though my appointment was only for an oil change, they didn't ask me to make another appointment for the subsequent services, they just did it! I was in and out of there in the same amount of time that I expected to be for just an oil change. On top of the experience this past weekend, we have an Walser/SA rewards card because we leased from them, and we get a good chunk of change off of our gas purchases from SA.... every time. No maximum's, no mimimum's, just $ off of your gas. Awesome. I love that I found this Walser location and look forward to a long partnership/friendship with the dealership! read more

I purchased a vehicle from them and they are seriously the worst people to deal with, from the salespeople to the finance department. The staff was instantly pissed that I would not be taking their financing or their extended warranties (I work for a financial institution) and after finding that out, they treated me like complete garbage. Salespeople bragged that they don't make commission, but the way they talked to me about the vehicle and their refusal to budge on price or negotiate It does not seem genuine. Since I did not have a check from my financial THAT night, they would not allow me to put money down to hold the vehicle, and came up with some story about a man coming from over an hour away to look at this exact purple Buick Lacrosse that I wanted to purchase. I was so mad I said would I take my chances (since this story was obviously made up to try to push their financing on me last minute). I tried calling BOTH salespeople I dealt with the night before and they did not get back to me until almost 3pm. Shockingly (NOT) the vehicle was not sold and still available. I asked them to write up a purchase agreement and had to give them ALL of the information I gave them the day before (it's like they did not want to sell me this vehicle and deleted all of my info). I explained I would be there after work to finish signing everything. They threw a fit because they wanted to pull my credit for "title work" and I refused to give them that. I work with the DMV, they don't require ANY social security numbers for their title work so neither should a dealership. I know that they just wanted to try to sell me a different rate with a different lender, even though I said I work at a financial institution and did NOT want any of that. When I showed up to complete the purchase, they made me wait 20 minutes even though it was not very busy. After signing everything and going over all of the paperwork, they were still very annoyed that I didn't take their warranty or didn't let them pull my credit. This place is seriously the worst. People wonder why buying a car isn't very fun and Walser just adds to that stress of purchasing a vehicle. read more

I am giving a poor review to Walser based on how they are handling Covid in their showroom. We were thrilled when they brought the truck we are purchasing to our home for a test drive. Our salesperson although new to car sales was very informative about the truck and did wear a mask. When I asked how the business was handling Covid she assured me that they were taking it very seriously and are taking every precaution. My husband and I went to the showroom today to complete our purchase. Yes they had signs up and yes they had hand sanitizer. But we were both very uncomfortable there since many employees wore neck gators, not masks, others had masks below their noses and others who were in their offices did not wear masks at all. They were not enforcing customers wearing masks, we saw a number of customers wearing them below their noses or on their chins for long periods of time. This is truly disappointing. The tables were spaced a nice distance apart however it would have been a smart gesture for them to disinfect the table and chairs before we sat down. I cannot recommend doing business in their showroom. read more

My starter failed and I had vehicle towed here as it was the closest location to the breakdown, 30 miles from my home. In hind-site, I should have had it towed to our local repair shop and skipped all the dealership's hassle and over-inflated and unnecessary costs: it would have cut this repair bill in half. The service phone number I found online handled all Walser service requests and I was not directed to the store, even though it was listed specifically on the Roseville dealership's website. The person I spoke to said they could fix it immediately. Apparently calling their main number caused some confusion and it took several hours for the service personnel to find my callback information and confirm they should look at the vehicle. Later that day, I was informed that it would cost over $500 to install a re-manufactured starter. Our family needed the vehicle and had already spent $ on towing, so we decided to have them fix it. When the car repair was complete, I wanted to pay for the vehicle so I could pick it up after they closed for the day (Saturday). They wouldn't take my payment over the phone citing they needed to "physically see my credit card". When we picked the vehicle up, we discussed the exorbitant $125 diagnostic fee (when they were told what was to be replaced) as well as the excessive cost of their re-manufactured starter. They didn't budge when we requested to have the fee removed and chose to explain their parts warranty and what a diagnostic fee includes. Even if I lived in Roseville, I would stay clear of this place for service, and now that I was treated poorly I wouldn't by a vehicle here either. read more

Went truck shopping last Thursday, drive right by Rosedale GMC everyday to work. Seemed reasonable to check them out for the convenience. Spoke with a nice sales person who helped me find a truck that had the features on it I wanted. Got an evaluation on my trade and they gave me a bottom line #. I told them I was still shopping but to give me their best offer. Lots of haggling. Finally Cole the sales manager comes out of his cave to "seal the deal". He sweetened the deal a bit and I asked for it in writing so I could compare (how do I know what a good deal is until I compare?) and he refused, told the sales guy not to give the sheet to me. Weird. So next dealer very nice sales woman. They don't haggle, here's the price. Not as good as Roseville. 2 days later go back to Roseville. They jacked the price from the original offer up $800+. So now I know why they don't put things in writing. Manager claimed there was a mistake. Like an idiot I just got over it and decided to do the deal. It took them so long my bank closed so after we agreed on the new price I asked them to send a purchase order to my bank (name, no., fax no.) and I would stop after work and pick up the truck. So the next day Ramon the business guy added over $3k in "other products" that I told them I didn't want and changed the price to full MSRP. So after discussing it with the loan officer I called them back left a couple messages, no call back. Schmucks! They give ethical and honest sales people a really bad name. Shame! I brought my car in for routine maintenance but found out that one of the tires had been punctured with a nail. They were thorough in explaining why replacing the tire ( which had less than 2000 miles on it) had to be replaced and why patching it would not work. Audio quit working took it into Roseville Buick/GMC on 06-22 they could not find a problem picked it up quit working again, dropped it off on 06-23 they said after driving it over 40 miles no problem they did radio reprogramming with STS 2810335 and added software with USB picked it up still not working 06-23-2016 The audio features have stopped working numerous times. Nothing works no blue tooth, no radio, not even the noise for the turn signals. Had it in for service 3 times and they said they have a program issue. I bring it into dealership when I have this problem they say that they can't get it to stop working, every time I pick it up before I get home it stops working. I get a message on the heads up display saying no audio and it shows a mute display which is not muted. This vehicle is still under warranty and I am entitled to a loaner vehicle when I leave it and I get the line we don't have any. I took the car back the same day before closing when it quit working after I picked it up they said my service adviser would call me the next day I get a call over a week later whats up with that? Now it has not worked for over a week and a half. read more
