DO NOT GO HERE! This jiffy lube has caused one of the worst experiences of my life. This location placed a faulty oil filter on my truck which caused my vehicle to need an entire engine replacement. They refused to pay for the replacement of my engine which costs almost $12,000 even though all of the evidence points towards them and did not properly investigate my claim. The quality of service has gone down quite a bit at this location. I went for an oil change and of course they tried to upsell the service by taking out the engine air filter to convince customers that they need a new one because it's dirty. It didn't need to be changed yet so I declined and told them that I replace it myself when it's time. My car was off after that. I couldn't figure out what the issue was. I had my rear brakes done in February. A couple of weeks later I noticed a ton of noises coming from the rear. It got worse and I brought it back in. At that point, an employee jiggled my car around and said there was nothing wrong. A few days later the rear wheel totally seized up and I had to have it towed to a shop. There they found that Jiffy Lube had left several old parts in the brakes that had become wedged into the brakes. A week ago on August 19th 2020. My brother and I drove in to get an oil change. After leaving one mile down the road our hood flys up and smacks right into the windshield, busting the glass. The guy who closed the hood, who also happens to be the store manager, Muhammad failed to secure the latch properly on the hood. For OBVIOUS reasons this is extremely dangerous and we are lucky no one was injured. Now they have refused to reimburse me for the damages to the hood and windshield that happened as a result of their negligence. I mean really how hard is it to close and LATCH the hood, especially when that is what you do for a living!! I am so awful at taking care of my vehicle but I think I finally found an easy place to help me out. I drove up on a Tuesday and it was rather comical when three employees popped out to help me ASAP (I was the only customer). I tried not to feel awkward as I felt fawned over (in a good one, not creepy). I hadn't been to a Jiffy Lube before (I thought I had) so I am used to just driving right in. They'll stop you and pull the car in for you as you wait in their little waiting area. There's coffee that was offered to me. As I was explained what was recommended for my car after they looked it over I didn't feel pressured at all. I simply wanted the oil change but was glad I was shown what filters I needed replaced. I sought out Jiffy Lube after I figured I should go get an oil change, since it had been almost 6,000 miles since my last one. Lucky for me - I called ahead and found out that a) there was no line, and b) they were doing a $12 off any oil change that day. By the time I arrived, paid for, and got my car back, I believe it had been no more than 20 minutes. It was the experience I was exactly looking for! The lobby was pretty small, with only a handful of chairs for customers to sit at. They do offer coffee, water, and I believe tea products for folks who want/need it while they were waiting. I would just keep in mind that the price for the oil change will likely be an extra $5 than advertised because of the oil filter change. Other pros: they offer free topping off of oil and other engine fluids between oil changes at Jiffy Lube, they are quick, friendly employees, and go through all of the inspections of the oil change with you at your car. They also vacuum out the interior of your car and wash your windows. I got more than I anticipated going here! Highly recommend. read more

I used to go here for my oil changes because it was right by my work, and if you went in for the the early bird specials before they jacked up their prices, it seemed like a pretty good deal. I never had to wait, I always could pull right in, or there might be 1 car ahead of me. Service was always really quick, usually got done in less than 1/2 hour. There are a few reasons I stopped going here.. 1. prices. too expensive. If I wasn't an early bird or didn't have a coupon, an oil change cost me close to $37! 2. I don't like the way they "heckle" you. At least that's how I felt. They do their little review with you to tell you what needs to be done, but they do it in a way to try to sell stuff to you. If you say 'no i haven't gotten that done' they try to get you to do that service or schedule an appointment, putting you on the spot and making you feel awkward. One time my window wiper was broken and the guy said he could replace it, and i just gave the excuse "no i don't really have time for that i need to get to work" and he said, under his breath, "well i could do that in a few seconds but..." unprofessional. 3. I don't work or live by jiffy lube anymore. If I did, I would still choose midas over jiffy now. Not an awful place to get your oil changed if you are in a hurry and don't mind spending more than some other places. read more

The last time I was here the people at the counter continuous tried to upsell every customer with a new pair of wipers, higher grade engine oil, transmission flushes, and a plethora of other services. OIL CHANGE COSTED ME $70, when the guy helping be noticed my look of disbelief he asked what was the problem and I stated isn't that a bit high, so he generously knocked it down to $60. I went in for an oil change a couple of weekends ago. There was maybe a 20 minute wait, but I was in an out in roughly 45 minutes. The price for a synthetic oil change was on par with any dealership in the area, which I expected. It may cost twice as much as a traditional oil change, but with 7,000 miles of longevity, I can't really complain. My sales associate was gregarious and seemed up front. I turned down a manufacturer recommended transmission flush and he didn't really pressure me with an upsale on anything else. They even topped off my coolant for free, which I really appreciated. I took my 1997 Volkswagen Eurovan in for an oil change on Saturday morning, and I was at the Jiffy Lube from 10:45 until 1:00. Customers who had arrived after me were leaving before me, and I could see that after employees began servicing my car, it sat idle for long stretches of time while they worked on other cars. I did not feel like the staff communicated with me adequately regarding the delay. I was given a $15 discount because I had to wait so long, but I would rather have my time and paid full price, especially since I had to pay a babysitter for unanticipated overtime. It's also very expensive for an oil change: $68 WITH the discount! After I was finally told that my car was ready, I started it up and saw the coolant light flashing. I notified the supervisor and when we checked, we saw that the coolant level was far below the minimum, even though the staff had checked off "Coolant Level" as "OK" on my form. When another staff member came out to fill up the coolant, he said, "Oh yeah, did we tell you you've got a coolant leak?" No, no one had mentioned that. I feel that both the speed and quality of the service fell far below my expectations. The staff were all friendly and polite; I simply did not get an impression of competence from them. I came here for the first time to have the oil changed. Immediately after I parked my car at the parking lot of this store, a guy came out and gave me an instruction. My car was a rental car and the rental car company asked me to have the oil change for further contract. I didn't know which oil should be chosen for the car, but once I told him about it, he confirmed everything and did everything right after. I waited just for 20 min or so at the office. I liked how they changed the oil and cleaned up my car within this short period of time. I'm happy with it. But one thing I found after getting on my car was funny. They put a stamp on the front glass to remind me of the next timing of the oil change for this vehicle. The stamp shows the approximate milage for the next oil change timing. The numbers of the milage shown on the stamp was incorrect. It was funny that they did a great job in managing the car, but failed in a simple calculation, it was just adding 5000! My wife and I visited this location yesterday and the manager attempted a blatant scam. We had purchased a Groupon deal for an oil change and tire rotation. The car was pulled into the service bay and a few minutes later we were called out to look at the car. We were told by the manager that our engine was bone dry, not one drop of oil was in it! Then he tried to sell us an "engine cleaning service" for $70 that would clean the engine of any metal shavings that were caused from running it without oil. I was appalled that he thought we were stupid enough to fall for this. The car was running fine and the low oil pressure light was not on...there's no way the car was even low on oil. They didn't even top off the wiper fluid. We will never visit another Jiffy Lube again, ever! read more

Before I say anything else, let me state this: I created my Yelp account with the sole purpose of writing a positive review on this store. Also, I do not know any of the workers on a personal level. Only as service staff. With that preface of objectivity out of the way, allow me to summarize my experience in one word: Wow. This was the best experience I have ever had at a Jiffy Lube - or any oil change service station, for that matter. Clean, accessible, and reasonably priced. And that is just the start. The staff as a whole were extremely friendly, and the service my car received was immediate. They did not push products on me that were unnecessary - no pressure tactics. They actually completed the point-by-point inspection that so many other places 'claim' to inspect, but (in reality) do not. For example, I'm no automotives expert, but I can tell when my tires were never properly inflated to the correct PSI - a standard part of any oil change that claims to offer a 'multi-point inspection'. The Roseville Jiffy Lube, however, is attentive to these finer points. When I brought up the subject of a squeak my car was making, the Manager examined it for me - no charge. While Jiffy Lube doesn't do much in the 'power steering assembly' department, they tested the problem and topped off the fluid for me at no charge, and - voila! - the squeak went away. As I was leaving, they also heard a rattle from a piece of debris dangling from the undercarriage. They actually offered to drive it back in and cut it off for me - again, at no charge. My car had two noisy problems which are now resolved. The car just feels younger. :) In summary, I cannot guarantee that if you use Jiffy Lube in Roseville, you'll receive a pile of free assessments and assistance, as I did. But what I can state with confidence is the staff there will be knowledgeable, efficient, and exceedingly friendly. The Store Manager is a certified mechanic, which became increasingly evident throughout our interaction. A+ for effort, and very neighborly as a group. I live in St Paul but will make it a point to return. Oh, and the extra couple bucks for the detailing on the interior? Well worth it. read more
