All the beers we tried (brown ale, oatmeal stout, and dunkelweizen) were delicious. There were plenty of seats in the spacious downstairs and a constant stream of people going up and down the stairs to the top level. There were board games and friendly dogs galore (my favor). I would definitely go back if I am ever in that area again!

It was my first time visiting Midwest Coast Brewery, and I was impressed. There's plenty of parking right next to the building, and an L stop just a block away makes it easy to get to. My friend was hosting a happy hour with about 20 guests, and there was more than enough space and seating for everyone. I tried the mango beer and it was delicious. My friends sampled a few of the other beers and really enjoyed them as well. The place is dog-friendly, and the bartenders are very nice, helpful and welcoming. I'll definitely be back soon to try more of their beers.

This is hands down my favorite brewery! Love the interior design! The coolest brewery spot that allows dogs and bring your own food. It's clean, new, modern, comfortable, plenty of parking, indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of seating, and elevator, clean and accommodating bathrooms with events posted and tampons and baby changing stations. Great for parties and friend gatherings. I recommend this place highly. They also sponsored the Chicago furniture bank today for the bed race on 9/28/25 (one of the sponsors). They love dogs and it shows. Thank you for caring about our fur babies! Can we bring cats in leashes? :-) nice staff and they are friendly.

What a great brewery! Both beer and space! I enjoyed the free street parking and how spacious this location is. The upstairs patio area is huge, offering seating both indoors and outdoor. This spot is also dog friendly throughout, however, bring your portable dog bowl as I couldn't find any spare bowls around. It would be so fun for them to have a pop-up vendor selling pup treats in the future! They offer many types of beers here and even flights if you want to sample a little bit of everything. There are also events here throughout the week such as trivia and live music! I am looking forward to coming back and bringing friends since it'd be a great space for small groups!

We only had time to grab a couple and look around the other day and it's every bit as spectacular as the pics on social media. The upstairs glassed-in beer garden is gorgeous. Behind the deep main-level 24+ tap bar we saw a vast array of well maintained brew kettles (at least 10) and equipment capable of constantly keeping those taps flowing with new beers each visit. We each had a pint and a small pour and all 4 ales were brewed to style and tasty. Since only bar snacks are offered, the bar staff seemed to have a fine knowledge of the favorite local food options. And while the neighborhood leans industrial, given that it's 3-4 blocks from the UC (where we tend to chow down at the Carvery anyway) I see us coming back soon!

Stopped into this location for a quick drink before a wedding next door. There is street parking available. Music is playong but it was kept at a good level. They rooftop at the time was first come, first serve. It was pretty busy on Saturday at 4:45 pm. They offer different beers on tap, food, and bar snacks. Everyone we ran across was extremely friendly. It is fun to be able to taste different samples without needing to purchase one tall glass.

Went to this brewery for the first time for a comedy show. They have 2 levels and top level with outdoor seating. You can order or bring your own food or order a cheese platter menu from the bar. Lots of good rotating draft. Waitstaff are very chilled and laidback.

Definitely one of my favorite breweries! From its friendly staff, food pop ups, events like yoga on the rooftop, supplied board games, and being dog friendly, I find myself coming back again and again. Love this spot!

Couldn't help to notice that all hip hop, rap, Latin music are completely blocked off. Politely asked the bartender what was up with that? He seemed very uncomfortable with my question and gave us a very sarcastic response. "Well, I guess that's a racist juke box." We immediately felt the bad energy. We proceed to finish our beers and play a jazz song by a black female singer. Immediately the bartender and some older biker looking dudes next to us start talking smack about the song. They asked if we put the song on? We said yes, and tell us to read the room. So I respond in a very sarcastic tone. "oh, you want us to read the room, would you like us to play some Toby Keith or Kid rock for you?" They smirked and had no response. I strongly believe the place is owned and operated by white supremacist maga brothren's. I would strongly encourage people In the neighborhood to stop supporting this business.

First of all, I want to comment on the way the host was handling guests coming in. The female host that we met last night was incredibly aggressive, and made every person in my party uncomfortable. Not only was it in the way that she talked to us, but it was also the fact that when she brought up the fact that we could get bar spots, after waiting for an hour and a half, I began moving towards the bar spots, and she actually put her hands on my chest to stop me from walking. That is just completely unnecessary and highly inappropriate. Similar to other reviewers, we put our name in on the list and then went and waited at another establishment because the space in there is so limited. When we got back, we had serious questions about how we were progressing on the waitlist and whether the waitlist was fair. The waiting game lasted about an hour and a half for us. I was happy that they did give us a glass of wine while we waited basically after we told the host that things seem to be becoming hopeless. Then fast forward to when we were seated with bar seats. We ordered a couple burgers and a couple bottles of wine. The food took forever to come. It felt like a never-ending story after having gone through this incredible wait, and the bartender was near useless he disappeared in the back for over 10 minutes at one point and like we couldn't even figure out who to give a complaint. The wine and food was great, but nowhere near worth the hassle. We went through to just sit down and have momentary enjoyment. We will not be returning.
