I arrived a little before my 2:20 pm appointment time. I left at 2:31 pm. I waited only a few minutes. The provider that treated me was helpful and answered all my questions, which was appreciated since I had paper work to give to the Quest Diagnostics employees from my doctor that showed which blood tests she was ordering.

Fraud Alert! This Chicago, Illinois Lab filed an insurance claim with my Medicare information for…read more$400+ in laboratory services related to stomach contents . They claim that the referring doctor was a northern California doctor that I never saw and don't know and who per a Google search, practices hundreds of miles away from me. He seems legitimate and likely the scammers stole his info too so I won't name him here. The date of referral is not indicated on the denial which is unusual. The Explanation of Benefits was received in December 2024 and the form only shows Oct-Nov 2024. Medicare denied the claim because this "lab" is not a Medicare provider. I was fortunate because the denial saved me lots of headache. Someone working in a medical setting must be feeding them names and addresses and insurance company information, as I see several Yelpers have taken the time to report this on Yelp. I've been to another location on Clybourn and they were much more professional! The front desk girl at this Bucktown location had a terrible attitude even though I was just calling to ask questions about my titer results. So here's what went down. I paid FULL Price to have ALL MY TITERS checked and they even drew an extra tube of blood to "make sure" it would be enough. Yet the lab had some kind of "processing issue" with the varicella titer. They NEVER called to tell me that. It wasn't until I called to request my results 2.5 weeks later and I ASKED if I had a suffice sample for all my titers to be checked. The person I spoke with told me to come back in for free to redraw blood since it was THEIR MISTAKE. When I called again prior to walking in I mention this, and the RUDE front desk girl says "i dont know what to tell you, we will have to charge you again"... I asked to speak with the manager, she said she'd leave my number and I'd receive a call back and I NEVER did. I have never written an angry review but this place had me livid. I HIGHLY SUGGEST using (Jason Health) a cheap out of pocket alternative where you can get doctors orders, if all you need is bloodwork done and go to Quest diagnostics. They are able to do away with ALL the things that give parents (especially new parents) a headache when dealing with pediatrician offices. On top of that, the medical care is high quality and you feel that the doctors know your children as individuals. . The things I appreciate most so far: -NO wait. You are walked back to your appointment room immediately upon arrival. -NO calling and being on hold. You can message the front desk or your doctor at any time. -The first few newborn visits are at home so no schlepping around your infant in a car seat while you are trying to recover. -parking is so convenient. Plenty of street parking right in front of the door. -extremely responsive and communicative -you don't feel rushed. The staff and doctor know your kids as an individual. - you don't have to go in for every little thing since you can communicate and get questions answered over the phone.
