I recently moved and my primary doctor who I saw my entire life is now about an hour away. I was so happy when I found this place because its convenient, and reasonably priced. Most of the staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. The wait time is very reasonable; I've been here multiple times and I've never waited more than 30 minutes.. even when there was a packed house of patients. The doctors are professional, friendly and take the time to listen to all your issues. I have never felt rushed. The facility is clean and cozy and not stuffy like most clinics. read more

Ohhh Dear Amelia..I'm sure you're nowhere near sorry. And me calling to waste my time complaining about a practice this facilty uses repeatedly is just that...A WASTE. I just won't waste my time any further by going there and spend my time making sure no one else makes the same mistake. Good day. My issue with this place and other Urgent Care facilities is what I see as predatory practices to get extra money from insurance companies and extra co-pay fees from patients. My visit went well. I liked the staff and the doctor was funny but my first warning sign should have been the receptionist scheduling me for a follow, what I considered to be way too soon for a person on antibiotics. But I went because it's a follow up-they're going to re-examine me and make sure I'm okay. NO, NAH, NOPE! I was sat in an office, doc comes in, gives me my test results, asks me how I'm feeling, and tells me I should be okay with antibiotics provided. That's fine, but why did I have to pay a $20 co-pay like this is a REAL office visit. She didn't look at any part of me. She didn't re-test. She didn't take a look-see. NOTHING!!! So we're following up on information that could be handled by phone but you want money for it? Needless to say I've noticed this is the practice of other Urgent/Immediate Care Facilities so I no longer trust them. So people!!...if they ask you to schedule a follow up...do yourself a favor and skip it. Tell the reception you'll call her. You won't receive any care during the follow up. I would give 0 stars if possible. All the 1 star-Covid related reviews below are the same experience I have had. The long wait times on the phone, they messed up the fax to CVS and I had to wait 8+ hours with multiple phone calls to get the prescription filled. They took a strep test and Covid test. They billed the strep test wrong and so now my insurance won't pay ($269) then they charged me $65 for the PHONE CALL to give the test results. I called the number for the billing office to make my complaint and waited for 40 minutes with no answer. That was now an hour ago and they haven't called back. So then I called the number that was listed in the reviews --- 630-581-7432 and it sounded like a personal cell. The phone picked up but the person didn't know I was there. She was chatting with her friend about a lunch order. This place is a scam. They create a million obstacles so that you just cave and pay the bill. I will never go back. read more

I visited this "immediate care" clinic because my mother in law was suffering from leg and foot pain, both her legs and feet were swollen. She had suffered from this type of swelling before, in which she landed in the hospital for several days, so you can imagine her concern. I checked in online and visited the clinic around 5 hours after checking in and still waited approximately an hour to be seen, were given paperwork to fill in, so I'm not sure what the point of checking in online was. I wish I would have taken down the name of the medical assistant who helped us. She was the person who roomed us and took vitals. She had a short blond bob and was around 5'4. Seeing as my mother in law is blind, in great distress, she had the audacity to tell her "stop playing 21 questions with me". My mother in law was asking her questions in regards to her state of health, I understand if it's not within your job title to answer, but the professional response would have been, "the doctor that you will be seeing can address additional concerns." I have never heard a patient being spoken to that way. After my mother in law saw the nurse practitioner, she wasn't even seen by her for more than 10 minutes, she was just told basic blood would be drawn and it would take 7 days to get the results which is ridiculous for an "immediate care" clinic. Blood results should have been returned within 24-48 hours. I will never return, what a waste of time. read more

New policies and a lack of an actual doctor ever being there have caused me to change my review from 5 stars to 1. The charges are much higher than a normal doctors office and insurance doesn't cover the same way because of the facility type. As of January 1 They want a credit card on file so if insurance doesn't pay fast enough they will just automatically charge you. I don't think so! Goodbye MidWest Express Clinic! read more

Came in Christmas Eve for a daughter who had jaw pain. Front desk staff was waiting for us with file in hand and we saw Doctor almost immediately. Doctor diagnosed daughter right away and pain was home almost immediately. Doctors bedside manner made daughter feel safe and comfortable and we couldn't be happier with everyone at the office. read more

I recently was in town visiting family and within two days of being stung by a wasp the arm has swollen and become quite red, so I went to Midwest Express which was nearby. I was the only patient in the place on a Thursday afternoon and was seen quickly. The first clue that something wasn't quite right should have been when the nurse went to take my blood pressure on the same arm which was swollen and red from elbow to wrist. The second should have been when the doctor walked in and after visually examining my arm (never taking blood work or palpitating the swollen area) announced that I had cellulitis. She recommended a shot of steroids and one of antibiotics and a course of antibiotic pills. I was also told that I had to see my own doctor immediately upon returning home. When I checked out I asked for a printout of the doctor's notes to take to my own doctor. There were several items written up on the notes which were things that were never checked and/or never asked (i.e., that gastrointestinal was normal, yet the doctor NEVER touched my stomach area). I just received the Explanation of Benefits for this clinic visit (I was only on their premises for one hour at the most, including wait time) and for walking in the door, getting my vitals checked by the nurse and having the doctor 'look' at my arm, it costs $400.00. When I saw my own doctor 4 days later, he was very skeptical that it was cellulitis. He said that it isn't always easy to tell the difference between inflammation and infection and the steroid shot alone would have probably solved the issued. Next time I'll go to the ER. read more

This is my primary care facility and when I need to be seen urgently it is there. I love the staff and no matter how busy they are like they were on Monday, I did not wait very long and was treated and on my way. I was checked on the next day and follow up next Monday . Came in with my family for a diagnosis. When we came in we got a clipboard to fill out. We waited about 1 hour to be taken in by the doctor. Waited additional 30 mins in the doctors office before the doctor actually came in. And another 10 for a lady to come take an X-ray. Very slow! For a doctor visit it's $100 and for an X-ray it's $60. They do have specials sometimes but not when we visited. However they were able to honor a coupon i found online which was extremely nice of them. Overall it's alright, wait times are a bit long. What a horrible experience!! My wife called yesterday and asked for the out of pocket price of a physical with ekg and blood work and was told it was $150. She agreed and made an appointment for this morning. When she got in she was told the physical was $100 which she paid. Her blood was taken and they did an ekg and then when she was leaving she was told that the ekg and blood work was "extra" and that she owed another $160 after the fact!!!!! Ashley at the front desk even told her that her blood work would not be sent to the lab for analysis until she paid!!! Medical extortion, mal-practice!!!! Kristen sobol is a racist sorry excuse of a health professional !! I came in today because of a lingering cough that she even insisted was bronchitis after hearing it. After already informing both the nurse and her that I was taking mucinex & zzquil and I needed ANYTHING stronger to sleep through the night. She tries to tell to me they don't prescribe cough syrup when in fact a month ago they prescribed my WHITE mother in law cough syrup while her cough was lingering and a different dr a linda palimbo even prescribed me cough syrup over a year ago when I was just as sick as I am now. She also informed me when I asked for a cough suppressant that she would have to "check my record" as if I was drug seeking? Lol the only thing I asked for was anything stronger then nyquil and mucinex. Also my record is completely clean yet she still refused to give me anything but mucinex for my cough which I'm already taking. Then tried to schedule a follow up a week later (money grab)If you are a person of color and Kristen sobol is working I would go ANYWHERE else for care as she won't help you if your dying in the room without judging or giving you medication only based on her pre conceived notions not actual medical benefits. read more

I was having serious medical issues so I looked up the closest clinic and I came here and was treated so well! I walked in and was immediately greeted by the front desk and she was very friendly. The nurse who did my initial check in was nice and clearly knew what she was doing, there were no hold ups in getting my info. I had to wait a while to see the doctor but I'm not complaining since I didn't have an appointment. They had a TV in my Doctor room so it was a nice wait. I watched Caso Cerrado to practice my Spanish!! When the doctor came she was so happy and friendly and efficient, giving me clear easy to understand answers, but also clearly understood what she was doing. This place is great! read more

Will never visit this clinic! My son used the online registry to reserve a spot to reduce wait time. He arrived to the clinic at around 1 pm and was told they were not seeing patients at that time and to return at 3:15pm. He arrived at appointment time and was put into a room and seen by a nurse; after sitting in the exam room for 2 hours waiting to see a doctor he was told they forgot about him! to make matters worse, he was given an incomplete RX so the pharmacy had to contact the clinic doctor before the prescription could be filled. Went to this location during lunch since it was close to work. The staff was unprofessional and the center was not equipped with even the basic medical equipment. I was diagnosed and prescribed medicine. After $40.00 for the meds, 2 more days of no relief and I actually got worse, I went to my normal medical facility. To my surprise, I was told that I was misdiagnosed, did not need the medicine and all I had was a simple ailment that was handled in 10 minutes. That doctor just shook her head and said she didn't understand what the doctor at Midwest was doing. I visited the clinic today and had a great experience. I found this place through a google search for B12 shots. And an ad popped up for an incredible low price so I called the facility to verify. The young lady who answered was helpful and extremely polite. When I walked in she knew who I was. And to my surprise there was a better special that they were running for prepaid services which I opted for. The office was immaculate and beautifully built. I was there recently and I was taken back by the rudeness of the staff the medical assistant was very rude to me and he front desk woman acted like I was bothering her when I asked her a question. I believe this clinic management needs to hire staff that is qualified and trained to work with patients! I am in healthcare and I have never been treated so rudely ever in my life. Visited here for the first time last week... Initially the staff was okay. The nurse practitioner was fine as well. Was able to get antibiotics for the minor issue and was cleared to go home. Very quick service! The nurse wanted to schedule a follow up appointment with me the following week to make sure everything was okay .. So i go in today the staff tells me, I have to pay another co payment for this visit as well! This is clearly a money hungry business ive never heard of having to paying for the same service twiceand paying another copayment when the doctor coudlve called me over the phone?!
