Service department says that's not a cracked weld. A year later the frame is twisting and the floor collapsing. Photos for evidence. Save yourself some grief and do not buy Keystone. Starkey the GM called me on the phone and threatened me. Sorry Starkey, defamation is only if I make an untrue statement. I brought this RV back to the selling dealer for warranty because the frame was bent and one of the jacks was bent. They blamed the damage on me and told me to file an insurance claim instead of addressing the structural problem. This was separate from the other weld cracks that they claimed were "not cracks." They made several repairs but the situation kept getting worse. It became clear the dealer was working for Keystone rather than advocating for their customer. To the owner -- I brought the unit back to you for a structural defect and you let Keystone run over me. 3 YEAR UPDATE: After a lot of screwing from Keystone I got them to buy this junk back for 90K. I still lost about 30K but it's better than nothing. My recommendation to you all is take lots of photos and get everything in writing. Use ChatGPT for help. Never trust your dealer. Hire a lemon law lawyer before they make a buyback offer. Once they make a bad offer you are stuck paying your own lawyer bill. Good luck. read more

They completely took advantage of us as new RV owners. Our RV broke down on the way to Texas and they told us that they couldn't repair it. A blown airbag. RV repair person we know said it was a pretty simple repair. We were stranded. So we bought a brand new camper that just arrived the day we pulled in thinking they had our best interest in mind. Nope! The new camper ended up have to have 19 things repaired and we couldn't use for 3 months. Including taking it to the factory twice for two weeks, replacing things like the entire dash and a bathroom remodel along with many more. Bought a 2019 Sierra FKOK in Oct 2025. Brought it straight home after a 3 -1/2 hr drive and parked it in the outbuilding. We are NEW owners and NEVER used the rv yet. I go out periodically to check on it and turn on the dehumidifier and noticed the skin and styrafoam on the main door has pulled away from the frame and rippled! Contact Midwest and Jamie(service tech) has me send pics and door info. 3 weeks later still no word so I contact Danielle since she talked us into the warranty. She said well, it might be normal wear and tear and we are waiting to hear if it is covered. That was almost 3 weeks ago, so we are now at almost 2 mths since i contacted them. I emailed the salesman, Steve and office lady, Olivia. " I have sent your email ito be looked into". Another week and no word. I will be filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and the Attorney General's Office!!!! I won't do business with them again! read more

Awesome dealership!! I bought an RV motorhome Renegade from an awesome salesman Eric. He walked through several items on the RV and I identified an unsealed window. Eric promised they would fix it but had to order a window they came through eight weeks later because I found out windows need to be made each time. Eric also has helped me with the many learning tips being a first time RV owner as I call him with questions. He is always available and helpful. Jason in service has also been amazing at solving my problems over the phone. Such as a minor GFI issue. Tyler was awesome at delivery teaching me on how to do things. Dana was awesome in finance. DO NOT BUY HERE. We got a 2025 Travel trailer from here and it has been the WORST experience ever. One of their employees ran over the 7pin cord while it was parked while we were filling out our paper work. The technician attempted to replace the cord in the parking lot before we left but botched it. We were traveling that night and got stranded because our trailer didn't have any lights!! We took it back THREE times for this repair, and now still having a lights issue. After the third attempt in 5 weeks I requested they buy it back and was even willing to negotiate because the SIX WEEK OLD unit would be considered 'used'. They refused. The sales manager Randy then told me he only has documentation of one repair being completed and it was a manufacturing defect. Apparently the first two times we brought it in for repairs they didn't even document it!! I brought this to his attention and he gave us the run around about how they could 'trade me out' or try to fix it again. This BRAND NEW UNIT was damaged by their employees and FOUR TIMES NOW has put my family's life at risk driving unknowingly at night without running lights and/or brake/blinker lights and leaving us stranded in multiple places. Do not give these people your business. I called for appt. for maintenance at their service center for my 5th wheel. They gave me a date to bring it in. When I arrived, they said the appt. was not for today but they would keep my 5th wheel in their lot for 2 weeks before they could look at it! What?! This is actually their process but failed to tell me on the phone. Then a hail storm hit my 5th wheel while sitting on their lot. They claimed no responsibility and wanted to charge me for the estimate to fix the hail damage! What?! When they finally gave me an estimate on my minor maintenance issues it was ridiculous and they again had a charge for the estimate! What?! I refused to pay since this was not explained upfront to me before I brought in. The woman in the service dept. was extremely rude with remarks and attitude. The manager was at least polite. And I noticed they did not have the estimate for my original problem on the sheet. They said they can do that for another fee! What?! I said no! I asked for a copy of the estimate and when I got home to look at it, the woman printed it out with all blank numbers. Also they ran my battery down to nothing so I had to had them jump my battery just to hook up to my truck. What a horrible experience! They are scammers!! Do Not Buy from them! read more

We had a leak with the outdoor shower that was coming inside and keeping a portion of our carpet wet. I called the service department to help me with a warrant issue in my 2023 Montana. i had a cushion that went bad on the recliner. A quick picture, estimate and a paperwork process was all I needed. The first thing they ask if I purchased the unit there. Being a Montana Dealer I thought there would be no issue with a warranty repair. I was told that they do not work on units not purchased there. I know they expanded their service shop area. I would be worried if they are full working only on the units they sell maybe they should sell better models. I went to them first but they couldn't get the model I wanted. I contacted Montana and they stated they couldn't require dealerships to work on Montanas. when they asked what dealer they wasn't surprised. I called Byerly and were so nice. They said they would take care of it and set me up an appointment. Super Nice. Luckily for me the great customer care team at Montana took care of it and sent out a replacement. I just want to start out by saying that Midwest RV was an outstanding buying experience. My wife and I went to the RV show in St Charles , MO back in September with all intents and purposes to buy a 5th wheel trailer and what a fiasco it was. The only redeeming factor was a salesman from Midwest RV Center who acknowledged our existence. When we arrived at the show we went to almost every dealer there and none of the sales people even looked our way. I even approached a sales rep from Byerley and pointed at my wife and told him to go talk to that woman right there, that's my wife and we will buy today! I went to the restroom and as I returned I asked my wife what the rep said and she said Who? No one came to talk to her!! That all being said we came across Mark from Midwest RV. To make a long story even longer he and the entire team were a God send. We purchased a Keystone Montana High Country and LOVE IT! Collin did our walk through and explained as much as we could absorb, one of the owners came out to see us off, as well as Liz, Lisa, Debbie, Randy and the whole crew. I admit the fact that I've called several times and asked questions from the service dept. And never had an issue. While the sales rep, Brad was great but made an error on the.paperwork paperwork and was not caught until we went to pickup the camper. Turnd out the one we wanted was 4k more then the one the sales rep told us and gave us paperwork on. We sat in the sales area for about 40 minutes while they figured it out and all they did was redo the paperwork with the camper we wanted. Needless to say i did not purchase, felt like it was a bait and switch. Visited this RV place when we were killing time till the Cardinals game. We were met by Vince and struck up a not pushy conversation about RV's. we looked at several and relooked at the same ones and looked again. We ar RV new to RV travel and wanted something for 2 adults and 2 Golden Retreivers. We left went to the game, called Vince and put a hold on one the Coachman 26DS. It was about 30days before we could get it but they held it for us. Did I say we live in Cincinnati. The only thing negative is when we did the walk through, Colin did a great job, but we didn't know what we didn't know. All the info was totally new. Anyway we highly recommend Vince and the peeps at Midwest. We wished we had gotten the longer one driving is not as bad as we anticipated. BUYER BEWARE WORST BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER ETHICAL? This is the absolute worst buyer's remorse I have ever had. Before purchasing this camper I had an option to buy the same brand new trailer in SC for thousands less. My salesman at Midwest RV explained to me that they give service priority to those that buy from them and if I don't buy from them, getting service would be tough. I have a busy job, two kids and have more money than time so I regrettably bought from them for this "superior service". The trailer was made by Keystone and supposed to be a quality brand. If I had problems Midwest RV would be there to take care of them; right? Well I can assure you their service department is sloooooow, incompetent, and more interested in selling extended warranties than providing any level of acceptable service. Several times I would drop off the trailer for warranty work and would have to pick it up before the work was done because they either did not have parts or did not have room on the lot. Other times after they had it for plenty of time they were still working on it when I arrived to pick it up. This trailer must have been built on a late Friday afternoon because we had many quality issues (too many to list) but the worst were the ones that flooded the camper. One flood was due to a pipe that ruptured. The second was a water leak in the camp kitchen. The third was due to them fixing one of these water problems and the service tech left the faucet on and the drain plugged! We so when we hooked the trailer up at the site and turned the water on, we unexpectedly flooded it again. That was such a great memory... ;-( I expressed my frustration and concern and the owner. He assured me that these floods would not cause me any issues and if they did Midwest RV would back me up. Yeah not so much.... After a few years of constant problems and a greatly diminished interest in camping we had decided to sell this trailer. We kept it very clean, had tons of interest, but when people asked what problems we had they all were very concerned about what they could not see from the floods. When I circled back to Midwest RV for backup my salesman suggested to do not disclose these water issues. I too am in sales and have quite the ethical challenge with this! They are built with cheap components and assembled in haphazard fashion. You will be the quality control person. The factory warranty was so very much not worth my time. If you decide you want to buy a new camper, get the very best deal you can get. Shop nationally to get the very best deal you can and just expect to work out the kinks yourself. Consider renting a trailer. When you add up all the cost of insurance, storage, trailer cost, depreciation, mortgage, you would be surprised at how affordable $100-200 a day is to rent. I wouldn't waste your time or money here. We bought a 21 Catalina Legacy, was told by our salesman our 1/2 ton would pull it "LIE ". Then after putting money down took 2 weeks to get the camper, very fist time out the belly flooded with water, and it's been down hill from there. Everything from the ceiling coming down to the ac quit working hasn't even been 2 years. Not to mention I still don't have any T.V. Or radio because they don't know what's wrong with it. And if you do get in to have items "fixed" they only half ass fix them and leave damaged countertops and their messes behind. If you do buy from them and want any type of service you have to wait 1-2 months before they ever get your camper, then another 3-4 weeks before you get it back. I would recommend you going somewhere else. The customer service sucks as they don't care unless you know someone. read more

We wanted a small toy hauler that we could use for our 3 dogs bedroom and extra bed in case we had overnight guest Dean was not at all pushy and didn't pull that famous line "it may be gone by tomorrow". We looked at it and then went home to do some research and my husband and I talked. We bought our 2016 toy hauler the next day. we had a patio kit added to the toy hauler ramp and the they messed up the install which is why I gave them a 4 instead of a 5. With that said, they corrected the problem and made several other somewhat minor repairs at no charge to us. I also need to give a shout out to Lizzie who coordinated our repairs. She was very pleasant to worked with. We also worked with one of the repair people (sorry I forgot his name) who was so friendly and did a great job. Good initial sales experience. Very knowledgeable sales person (Dean) but you should still do your own homework. Very knowledgeable about tow vehicles and the product he was selling. During the initial sales communication we were impressed by the service available at follow up but that changed as the paperwork was being signed and during my first call for service. We (my wife and I) were originally told that the first winterization would be complementary and if we did the annual roof inspection "x" amount of roof sealant would be complementary, if needed, during the inspection. When we asked the finance person about the roof sealant he was unaware of any such service and when I called for the winterization I was told that they do not do that service unless I had a coupon from the sales person (which I didn't). I left a voicemail for the salesperson at that time and he informed there was no documentation in the sales paperwork of that agreement. In addition I had emailed the salesperson twice with no response days after the initial sale about a question regarding towing suggestions (he is a very good resource) and received no response. He was outstanding responding to emails prior to the sale but after that there was no response (possibly his email server was down?). During our PDI there were a couple concerns (they fixed many quick issues while I waited that night) that we feel needed to be addressed before delivery but the sales person assured us that there will be other concerns that arise over the first year and it's best do rectify them all at that time. I will provide a follow up after that service. Overall average sales experience but Dean is a very knowledgeable salesperson, initial impression appears that the service should be good when you schedule well in advance and plan to stay and wait for some service, great location if you live in or close to STL. read more

Worked with Bob at midwest rv, very knowledgeable and helpful to any questions we had. We talked to him up at the RV show in the Chesterfield outlet mall and Bob walked us through one of his campers and told us to go look around and see what kind of material is used in the other campers compared to the other we were looking at. None of the other sales people we spoke to told us to look at the items that Bob suggested. Which in the end helped us make our decision to buy from him. Although they sold more of the camper than they had in stock, Bob worked with us and we went to the next model up and are happy with our purchase.
