So far I have been here twice, since coming up to Spokane. Each time it has been amazing. The first time I came here my sister took me because she knows how much I love croissants and French bakery items. I am so glad that she introduced me to this place. The location itself is pretty easy to miss. Located near the Costco, and in a tiny little parking lot. But don't let the location fool you. They know their pastries. Walking in, is super clean and modern. Their pastries are all displayed really nicely in their glass cases. There is a ton of variety. You can go for croissants, cakes, petit fours, macarons or, even gelato. I have had their almond croissant, which in one word is decadent. Flaky, crunchy and rich. The flavors melt perfectly in your mouth and just make you want to get more. The macarons, are light and airy but packed with flavor. Their passionfruit one and their maple bacon on were so good. I am not normally a huge bacon fan but I had decided to try it and it was worth it. There are so many things that I want to try there that I will definitely be back. If you are looking for a French bakery that is on par with some of the ones from France this is the place for you. I am not local to Spokane - having no reason to go up there previously, I didn't get to experience it. Well, we finally had a reason to go to Spokane (not just for the bakery ha) and I insisted on going here. My friend always said I should go since she was from Spokane and knew the owners when they first started out. It's been cool to watch this place grow while following them on Instagram. I think everybody can agree this place is aesthetically pleasing - it's absolutely gorgeous inside. Because of the pandemic, I didn't get to fully appreciate it since we had to get take-out. As far as the important part - the pastries were BOMB. I got a french macaron ice cream sandwich (probably my favorite) and I believe 4 french macarons, in addition to a funfetti cake slice and an iced americano. I believe I spent $32 with tax. I see reviews indicating this place is "expensive for Spokane" but I don't think people realize that Spokane isn't some small town - it is on the up & up and they deserve to charge the prices they're charging and I'd happily spend even more money if I ever go up to Spokane again! Maybe they'll open up in Vancouver WA one day...a girl can dream. :) Outside of the good pastries and good quality coffee, I had a good experience here. Weird location, but totally worth it. It is both a Instagram worthy photo and makes delicious treats. The bakery is competitive because how hard it is to make their products. Amazing bakery! All of the desserts are fantastic and we love the drinks. They made my sister bridal shower cake for a Harry Potter themed bridal shower! It turned out amazing. My fiancé and I loved it so much we hired them to make our wedding cake. When COVID happened we had to post pone our wedding, so we had them make a Seahawks/Steeles cake to celebrate our "not wedding" day. It turned out amazing! I remember when miFLAVOUR was just a little bakery, when they first started and now they are a full on beautiful bakery and cafe. I am so in awe of how perfectly the owners Ella and Max have built their dream and shared it with the world. The macarons, are absolutely to die for. The layout was weird the menu is so far from The register and when we went it was busy and they rush you but you can't go down the line because there are people still trying to figure out what they want to. You can't skip past them. When we got to the front it was hard to see what was on the drink menu since it was at the beginning of the line. Full disclosure: I've recently relocated to Spokane from a larger city, and am an absolute snob about bakeries, so you can factor that in to this review. I had the salmon sandwich during my visit and brought home three macrons, a slice of cake, and the almond croissant. The sandwich was OK; it felt overloaded, like the croissant couldn't stand up to all the fillings, and the combination of all the fillings left the whole thing feeling a little too rich. I could only eat about a quarter of it and I tossed the rest. The sweets: I liked the texture of the macrons, but I'm kind of a purist about the size of a macron and these were too big. The only flavor I had that I liked was passion fruit. The rest were just cloyingly sweet. I'd be interested in trying more flavors though. I think the bakery would really benefit from cutting cake as it is ordered. The precut piece I got was quite stale. The almond croissant was the best thing I had, unfortunately the twice baked almond croissant at Bakery Nouveau in Seattle has ruined me, which isn't MiFlavor's problem. This place is amazing! Would not have expected this beauty in Spokane. We moved here 18 months ago and haven't seen anything like it around, and the food, delicious! We came for an after dinner dessert and coffee. My husband had a raspberry lemon lala and I had a chocolate oreo ice cream sandwich made with macarons and they were both perfect. My husband said his Americano was the best he's had and my house made caramel macchiato was really yummy! And the store is so beautiful! My boyfriend drove me here for my birthday to get a bunch of sweets because the city we live at I kind of have exhausted the bakery out here, when I arrive to this place it looks so beautiful on the outside but even more amazing in the inside everyone that works here is always hard at work and is very kind. I got a Matcha latte with oat milk and it was one of the best lattes I have ever had. I also got 12 different macaroons and honestly I can say hands-down these macaroons had the best weightless texture and flavors I have ever had and I have had many macaroons from many different places throughout the US and I have to say this place takes the cake! Whoever designed the inside of this location is also very good at interior decorating because the openness and the cute decor is perfect! I suspect that this business is not long for this world. I tried to use the app to order a breakfast pastry, but it said that none of the locations were accepting mobile orders. End of transmission. It would not let me see the menu! So I called the 3403 E Sprague location. No live person, just a chance to leave a message. BTW, the workers call the business "My Flavor." Classy! We live about an hour away so it would be nice to see what's available ahead of time. Well we arrived and my wife went in to see what they had. They have a slot in the case for a pistachio croissant, but who knows if or when they might be available. My wife stood at the counter and waited. There were two customers sitting at a table who already had their order. No other people in the store. A worker came in from the back and walked right by my wife without attempting to offer service.
