Old Blueberry cheesecake - disgusting!

Food: This is the worst bakery I have ever purchased pastries. The expensive cheesecake I bought tasted old. It made me want to vomit after I tasted a piece. I will throw it in a the trash can now. Service The young girl was nice. Service The oldest clerk could use training in customer service. Ambiance The ambiance was unwelcoming. I asked her if I could seat in the inside area where two women were sitting. The oldest clerk sent me to sit next door instead. I think she is racist because the women who were sitting inside eating their pastries were white and we are not. However we are proud of our background, because we treat people like real people with dignity and respect. I believe this clerk should go home and retire, as she is not willing to do what is right. After all, she is being paid to work with the public. I give her an F for failing to do her job at the main counter. I don't recommend this place. The cheesecake belongs in the trash can.

This is the best cake I have ever had. 21 years ago I hired them to make my wedding cake. I moved back home after 20 years and found my way back here. Just as good as I remembered. The cake choices are amazing. You can buy individual slices or a whole cake. You end up with about two slices more with a whole cake for the price. My salted caramel chocolate cake was $42 and worth every penny. I came home stressed out and a slice of this creation soothed my soul.

I wish I took a photo after it was out of the box. This cake was beautiful and beyond expectations. Everyone at the celebration was asking where it was from and had massive compliments to the bakery. This is a 3 layer chocolate cake with fudge filling and chocolate frosting cake. We will absolutely be ordering for future events.

I had two cheesecake slices. One I ate there. It was delicious, but very sweet and I couldn't finish it in one sitting like I usually can. For me, I like my cheesecake fluffy, but these are dense. I had the turtle cheesecake and the berry cheesecake. Service was odd? At first the counter lady seemed annoyed with us, but she warmed up to us after we ordered.

First time ordering a cake from this bakery. They did a beautiful job. Cake tastes delicious. Bakery was nice and clean and the customer service is excellent

Rainy Day Comfort Food Fail at Conley's…read more Spending the day thrifting around Spokane, the rainy weather had me craving soup and pot pie. A quick Google search led me to Conley's, so off I went. The restaurant itself is cute--a cozy little cottage vibe. I was seated quickly (solo perks), and my server was friendly and fast with water and taking my order. I went for an iced black tea, a small cup of chicken noodle soup, and the chicken pot pie with Irish soda bread. The tea arrived first. Even with sugar, it was clearly old--like brewed hours ago or maybe even yesterday. I'm a bit of a tea snob, and black tea turns bitter the longer it sits. Definitely not fresh. The soup followed and, thankfully, it was just right--temperature and taste hit the spot. It gave me high hopes for the pot pie. Unfortunately, those hopes were dashed. My first bite from the center of the pot pie was ice cold--frozen, even. I had to flag down my server, who was apologetic and quick to take it back. When it returned, it was piping hot... but clearly microwaved. The crust was soft and soggy--not the flaky, golden crust you expect from a "famous" pot pie. The one true highlight was the Irish soda bread. Perfectly soft with a nice crisp edge, it was delicious. Overall, I'm giving 2 stars--one for the soup, one for the bread. If your claim to fame is pot pies and iced tea, those should absolutely be top-notch for every customer, new or returning

I first got to have mangrove during last summer, I went out for breakfast with my sister, and we stopped here on a whim. Was a little apprehensive at first because the restaurant is a home (not used as one though:) ) we shared their breakfast crêpes, I bought the fruity version and she had the savory version and we just split them down the middle. These were the most delicious crêpes I've ever had. The fruit was so fresh, delicious and sweet, I hadn't had fruit like this since I last visited Florida. And their portion sizes are pretty decent too. I was able to try their lunch menu this last Wednesday and I was genuinely in awe of how delicious the whole menu was. The kaosoi soup was out of this world. It was so rich in flavor and the spice was perfect, really coconutty and a beautiful curry base. I had so much that I was able to eat it again for dinner. I ordered a cup of rice to dip into the soup. The Thai fried rice was also delicious. It has a seafood base which tasted amazing with all of the citrus and to finish off our meal we had hot ginseng tea, which I'm surprised I haven't tried sooner because I love herbal teas. It has now been added to my shopping cart because ginseng has such a full body flavor that I can't get enough of it! The way they decorated this was adorable, the owner's personality really comes out in the way they set up the place. There's a lot of seating, but I don't think it would be good for a group bigger than four. The customer service is also great. The husband takes all of the orders and his wife creates all of immaculate dishes. They're a sweet older couple, hence the odd hours as they're slowly moving towards retirement. Come check them out!!

Food, Service, Environment, all spectacular. 10/10 would recommend. I had their shrimp fresh rolls…read moreand their house sauce is supreme.

Unfortunately, the experience was just as bad if not worse. The employee helping customers was clearly unhappy to be there and was openly rude to the people in front of us. When it was our turn, he treated us the same way. Many of the product tags were incorrect, which caused confusion while ordering. Each time we asked for clarification, he rolled his eyes or responded with obvious annoyance. When we politely mentioned that the labels were wrong, he simply stared at us and said, "What else?" I work in customer service myself, so I understand that tough days happen but this level of attitude was shocking. To make matters worse, after ringing us up he picked/scratched his nose and immediately began helping the next customer without washing his hands. Customer service may not be the right fit for him. Sadly, this visit confirmed why we stopped coming in the first place. (Tall, brown hair in a ponytail).
