Part way through pumpkin waffle and cinnamon roll!

Love Boots! I hadn't been since they moved across the street into Saranac Commons, which makes a lot of sense! Great ambiance and lots of seating, very casual nice vibe. The servers were super friendly and nice. Appreciate how many gluten free vegan treats are available. The prices have definitely gone up since we last went, my cinnamon roll was $9 and the waffle was $12. They were both really yummy tho!! Great textures for being gluten free. Get coffee from Hatch and treats from here, great Saturday morning! Oh they do also have some non pastry eats as well.

Looking for a super cool, chill vibe where you can meet a friend and hang for awhile or open your laptop and zoom this is an amazing spot! The bakery is filled with choices that will dazzle your tastebuds and make you amazed that it could possibly be vegan gluten free! Wonderful choices! The staff here is simply amazing and generous! I look forward to coming here again and staying awhile!

Haven't been to boots in a long time and the food was pretty good, Lots of vegan options to choose from, kinda lame how they use a microwave to reheat your food but whatever. The well known pumpkin spice waffles were delicious and made to order which is nice. Scone was dry as a dessert wouldn't get again but the vegan patties were yummy, I think alot of the entrees sit out too long on the shelf rack and get dry and then even more dry when they reheat in a microwave so that kinda sucks but the flavor is definitely hitting. Cafe shop literally in same building so grabbing a coffee with your meal is easy peazy. Service was terrible, ignored multiple times and had to ask repeatedly for my food and take out box, thats just one lady though im sure the rest of the staff team is better.

This place is an absolute gem! It's rare when the vibe, food, and service are all perfect. The triple threat The service was nothing short of AMAZING--Jess went above and beyond and truly treated us like royalty. She was so knowledgeable and gave fantastic recommendations for food combinations that worked perfectly together. The menu is a dream come true: 100% gluten-free, vegan, and absolutely delicious! Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. It's rare to find a place that caters so thoughtfully to dietary needs without ever compromising on taste. Jess made the experience unforgettable--warm, welcoming, and attentive. As we kept saying all evening, "Jess is the best!"

Honestly have been a fan of this place for the last 5 years. As someone who is gluten dairy and egg intolerant/allergy it's hard finding places that offer a wide variety of GOOD food options. Typically it's a trade off whenever something is GF it's got egg or something dairy free has gluten, I'm telling u this place has got the sweets, savory, and everything in between down to a T!!!!! The service is also so kind, the employees have often provided good prices for the food and thrown in a goodie or two. I'd definitly recommend bringing your $ to this business if you are someone who is looking to splurge or have good options and also have dietary restrictions or support vegan diet. My friends and family love their chipotle corn and sweetened yams!! That's one of my top favs. Some, inevitably are a hit or miss but 9.7/10 ur getting a pretty dang good food. Ambiance is great too for studying or catching up w friends.

Have you checked out the new location of Boots yet? I highly recommend it! They are located in the Saranac Commons, and they share the space with a pizzeria and coffee shop. The people there are friendly, and they serve the most delicious pumpkin waffles you'll ever taste. All their items are plant-based, including the waffle, which is also gluten-free and comes with a yummy chai butter. During my last visit, I tried their beet salad, broccoli salad, and veggie patty, and they were all delish Boots bakery & lounge 19 W Main Ave Spokane, WA 99201 United States

Nestled off Main and Division, Boots Bakery surprises with diverse I'm learning they are more than a bakery. They hold savory food items as well! It's a must try! Staff are awesome! Most recently, on a Friday evening around 7 PM, my party was seated near the end of the bar by the restroom area. A server approached me in a confrontational manner and told me to move my chair because it was blocking the walkway. I immediately complied and moved it where he directed. Despite that, he repeatedly pushed and squeezed past the chair in an aggressive way several times afterward and then returned to confront me about it again. The interaction felt hostile, unnecessary, and unprofessional. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated incident. On a previous visit, a female server was rude and controlling toward our table, and on another occasion when we were unhappy with a menu item, the response was essentially, "You ordered it, you pay for it," with no attempt to address the concern professionally. The atmosphere is great, which is why we've continued to come back. However, after several visits involving rude and confrontational interactions with staff, it feels more like an ongoing culture issue than a one-time bad experience. I don't expect special treatment, but I do expect basic courtesy and respect. Hopefully management takes these concerns seriously and works to improve the customer experience.

The Peacock Room was still open right by our hotel, so in we went. Best accidental decision of the trip. You walk in and the room hits you. Dark, moody, eclectic wallpaper, the kind of place that feels like it has stories. Then you look up. A stained glass peacock ceiling, thousands of pieces of it, glowing over the whole room. I just stood there for a second. Wow. The space is big and built for good company. Plenty of room for four couples or a bigger group to settle in. They stay open till 1am, which makes them a rare find for us late-nighters. The bourbon list earned my respect. I went Michter's, Old Forester 1910, and Weller Antique 107, and the 1.5 oz pours were priced fair and honest. No tourist markup. My wife worked through a Huckleberry Heaven, a dirty martini, and an espresso martini. The Huckleberry leaned on real local huckleberry instead of faking it. The dirty martini came cold and briny with a clean bite, just the way it should be. The espresso martini was rich and smooth with a proper foam cap, the kind that wakes you up and relaxes you at the same time. We got hungry. She had the chicken Caesar, crisp and fresh with warm chicken on top. I went prime rib French dip with fries. Crunchy baguette, savory meat, rich au jus. Exactly what you want at midnight. Then we split the chocolate cabernet cake to close it out, rich and creamy and worth the calories. Tyson and David ran the bar like pros. We're not from around here, so Tyson walking us through the local options meant something. Real conversation, no rushing us, just good people who know their craft. The live performance was incredible and set the tone for the whole night. People were dancing, laughing, and genuinely enjoying themselves. Huge shoutout to Emily, our server, who made the experience even better, and Indy behind the bar WOW. I had the Spicy Jimmy Hendricks and I'm officially obsessed. Hands down one of the best drinks I've had in a long time. Now let's talk food because it deserves its own moment. The Zola mac & cheese? Jamie & Johnii were the cooks that night. Unreal. Rich, cheesy, and completely indulgent. And the burrata appetizer was fresh, flavorful, and the perfect start to the meal. Everything we had was top-notch. What really stood out to me is the crowd such a beautiful mix of people. Couples tucked away having deep conversations, friends celebrating, people dancing... it felt like a place where everyone belongs. It honestly made me wish I could have experienced it with my grandparents it has that timeless, joyful energy. They also offer private events, catering, and even the option to rent out the whole space, which makes it perfect for birthdays, date nights, or celebrations.
