We had leaking gutters not fixed by being caulked. MIG was incredibly responsive. Stephanie came out within a few days of my call to make an estimate, and work was scheduled within a week. David and Jeff did the work. They were knowledgeable, conscientious, hard working and very accommodating. When some additional work was needed that wasn't in the original estimate, they contacted the main office to get a revised estimate and did the extra work that day. I contacted MIG to makeover my closets, main bedroom, guestroom and hall. When Ed arrived, who came highly recommended from a close friend, I made it clear that I was looking for a creative solution, not the basic closet solutions found at the Big Box stores. I had already contacted another closet specialist who fell short in the creative arena. The master bedroom closet is an odd shape that I wanted to capitalize on every inch available. In a few days, he contacted me with design solutions that check all the boxes ... he truly listened and delivered a creative and well thought out solution. Once I approved the designs, the materials were ordered and, in a few weeks, it was installation day. During the wait time, I had my handyman prepare the closets with a fresh coat of paint and new flooring. Instillation was quick and seamless. I now have three unique and distinct closet spaces that are well organized, completely functional and creatively designed. Received a free estimate that was competitive. I went with them due to their long history in Rochester. They removed old gutters and left downspouts, brackets and hardware scattered around our house. When I contacted them, they said they'd take care of it. They didn't until two weeks later when they came to install the new gutters. When they came to install the new gutters (after painting) they installed bronze gutters on a dark grey house with white wedges. Brown wedges are readily available. When I asked about it, I was told they could come back and paint them. I had them install screens to keep leaves out and they were installed wrong so that they trapped leaves against the drip edge. Another service call to get the screens installed properly. No attention to detail. No concern for quality work, just get it done and get paid. read more

I retained MIG Services to replace and redirect my front gutters. I paid a lot of money for the work, which took 2 guys less than an hour to do. I came home to see a mess left in my driveway, and one downspout not hung so that it reached the ground. They hung it the same way the old was was attached, instead of lengthening it to touch the ground. They took the old downspouts with them including the accordion extension I had on the downspout that didn't reach the ground. I have text the MIG contact that I coordinated the services with several times for them to bring it back to me or come back and lengthen the downspout the proper way. I also left a message with the business secretary. It's been a month and a half and several messages with getting excuses as to why they haven't been by to fix the downspout or return my downspout extension. Terrible customer service and theft on top of it. read more

We used MIG in 2013 to have gutter guards installed. They did a great job, and I am most particular. Aesthetically inconspicuous, gutter guards are a good product if installed correctly. MIG certainly installed them correctly because they have been keeping our gutters clear of leaves and working properly for five years now, and that's saying something because we live in a forest. The Gutter Guards look like they were installed yesterday, so it's safe to say you can trust MIG with your gutters. You may ask why I am writing this review five years after the installation. I was calling MIG for another job and read their poor reviews. I felt I should let you know that MIG was a safe bet for us. read more

We hired them to remove our old gutters and install new ones before and after our house was painted. They came and removed the old ones in a timely and efficient manner. On the agreed upon date to install the new ones, they did not show up. I called the Account Manager about it and he told me about a broken down truck and unable to get to us. He then said they'd come three days later. Same thing that day, no show, no call no gutters. Since the time of the initially planned installation, there have been two significant rain events. Our basement now has wet floors and wet walls. Poor customer service, poor work, poor show. read more

I had MIG come and do an estimate to convert my wood burning fireplace to gas. He said they would send me the estimate via email the next day. It never came so I called them that following week he said he would get it to me that afternoon. That was more than a month ago I never heard back from them. I took my business elsewhere. We had our house sided by a wonderful contractor who did a great job! We worked hard to save money and where proud of our house when he was done. We had MIG install THEIR product on OUR house. I has not happy with the installation of the gutters. There was downspouts with no elbows but, kinked to attach to house. How downspouts were attached and sag in gutters. When I called Rich, he did not return any calls. When I finally got ahold of someone else we were told even though its THEIR product on OUR house we are not the customer the contractor is who, has been great about this. Rich finally called and wants $100 cash before he gets out of his vehicle to look at THEIR own work. If, we don't pay THEIR product and WORKMANSHIP is our problem They ruined alot of good work and don't care. They shouldn't be doing residential work or taking tax dollars for energy star work. read more
