Not sure why Yelp is not showing the 2 reviews they have labeled as "not recommended". They're both great and honest reviews. Now, I've been coming here before the name change. There has been some changes to the menu. Actually, some very economical options. Food. Haven't had any bad experiences. I have my regular items based on my mood. Steamed crab legs with corn and potatoes. Fried Whiting fish (I request medium because I need to chew my fish and don't want it crispy) potatoes and boiled eggs with old bay and garlic herb seasoning. Bring your patience because your food is cooked to order. Only thing I am disappointed about since the change is the frozen lemonade. Personally, it's not that great now. Hopefully more people will start writing reviews here instead of on the old page. Hadn't been here in years, since the name changed 2xs ago. The food used to be very good and seasoned to perfection, but gone is that day. I Came here on lunch break, I ordered online. The frozen drink was out and they gave me 2 sodas instead. I don't drank sodas. So I gave those away. The food was steamed and sitting in butter and all the seasoning was sprinkled on top of the food not cooked with the food with butter herbs and garlic and lemon just sprinkled on top. This is the absolutely worse dish that i have had. I've been there several times and there is one person that knows how to cook to order(He's from La. so he knows seafood). I asked the sweaty, arrogant owner to have this particular person to cook the meal for me, which he replied with a smart azz answer "who ever get the ticket will cook it" It wasn't my guy that cooked it. Whoever attempted to fry my fish needs to be fired. It was raw to the point that I'm afraid that I may have salmonella poisoning (imo) I also ordered crawfish and it was freezer burned, dry and also no taste. They should be ashamed of theirselves! Called in for lunch and got attitude when I asked why they can't take credit cards, they only accept debit cards. It doesn't make sense. Both have strips & chips. More room for fraud\false charges with a debit card versus a credit card. Also, I had a shrimp po-boy and asked for no lettuce and was given a "humph" as a response. No surprise my sandwich had lettuce. We may try the steamed items, not sure. Right now I'm just hoping their "debit only" policy changes to include credit cards. read more

I used to love this seafood spot! But I ordered this weekend and I was extremely disappointed. I ordered the Brianna Platter and my blue crabs were TINY and had black goop in the middle of the crabs and the crabs were mushy inside. The meat was over cooked or those crabs were not fresh. Either way it goes, I need consistency when food costs this much! The food is expensive as hell! My husband was upset and said he felt we would've done better by just going by Publix for some steamed fresh seafood! I can't even argue against him and take up for the restaurant because the food sucked! AND THEY FORCE YOU TO PAY IN ADVANCE WHEN YOU ORDER ONLINE! We as patrons expect better and that you as a business should make sure that the reputation established in YOUR business is upheld. This place has horrible customer service. We ordered 100 wings a variety of flavors. Assuming the order was correct when we picked it up we took the pans home. When we got home we realized they gave us the wrong flavor, instead of the variety we ordered they gave us 100 of the same thing and because we left the store they refused to give us a refund and refused to Correct the order. When we returned with the pan of wings there were other upset customers who experience a wrong order as well and they refused to correct the order or give a refund. This family owned business was so welcoming, even tho I could tell they were dead on their feet. I ordered steamed crsb legs platter, which came ejth a choice of 2 sides. I had fried okra and Cole slaw. I had to pinch myself to ensure I was eating food on planet earth! Never have I had better flavored fried okra in my life...and let's talk steamed crab claws in herb and garlic butter. Yelp readers, those were the most incredibly flavored claws on earth. Okay the food was good but the reason this I'm giving this place 2 stars is because my father and I were viewing the menu online and we seen that the family pan was 45$ and we tried calling, but the answer machine was outdated and after a minute they wouldn't pickup the phone. I just bought a stripped down version of what they call GUMBO. A few pieces of shredded meat, 3 small sausage pieces and Okra, I think had some corn in it. Must be the Project version of Louisiana Gumbo. For 12 bucks I could have got me a better meal elsewhere and they wanted 5 bucks more to add Shrimp, Crap. Will NEVER give them my money again! I ordered 2 crab leg meals and a family catfish meal. After waiting 45+ mins the cashier says to me "your food is coming up it's taking so long bc they had to thaw the Tilapia out" so I politely tell her that didn't order Tilapia I ordered catfish! She goes to the back says whatever to the cooks and comes back and tells me she corrected it. My food comes out and it's the ugliest smallest crab legs I've ever seen. Before I ordered I showed the cashier a pic I found on their Yelp page and told her that's what I wanted. In the pic the meal came with 2 clusters when I opened my 2 meals it was only 1 cluster in each. I showed the girl and she said she didn't know why the picture had 2 clusters . Number 1I would never have ordered 2 $25 crab leg meals if I would've known it only came with 1 cluster number 2 when I got home and opened my fish meal it was a pan of Tilapia!!
