What a cute little place with great service and of course delicious ice cream., We've been wanting to try Mighty Moo for a while so after even lunch nearby we decided to come check them out. The location is a little small,,but offers a few booths and some tables which was perfect for our group of five. Service was awesome and we all tried different things. I had the cherry amaretto, others had a Dr Pepper float, banana split, cookie topped with Ice cream and another two scoops of other ice cream for our last family member. Everyone really enjoyed their treats. The Icecream was smooth and we all left happy. We will definitely come back when in the area.

Mighty Moo Ice Cream has the best milkshakes and malts in Arizona in my opinion. I have been here a few times, and while it is a considerable distance from where I live, it is worth it. I recently visited for the first time since it reopened and changed ownership. The owner, Tim, is a very nice guy who cares about everyone in his shop having a great experience. Even with the change in ownership, the high quality of the ice cream has remained intact. My favorite flavors of ice cream are cake batter, birthday cake, and salted caramel. Their birthday cake ice cream is some of the best I have ever had. It makes a delicious milkshake or malt. I also like their salted caramel truffle flavor. The atmosphere is pleasant and a great place to relax and enjoy your ice cream. It also smells fantastic, especially when you get the aroma of freshly baked waffle cones. Mighty Moo Ice Cream is one of my favorite ice cream places. While I do not get to Youngtown very often, I will definitely stop by whenever I am in the area and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great ice cream place in the Youngtown area.

So glad they reopened. This time it is with a new owner. Got their banana split just swapped vanilla for their Oreo cheesecake and pineapple sauce for more hot fudge. Gosh how much I missed their Oreo cheesecake. Staff was friendly and still had a lot of the same ambience. And boy was the ice cream as good as I remembered

Small business, great ice cream made by the owner. Can get a warm cookie with ice cream and a topping! We got a snickerdoodle wookie freshly baked with Cinnamon Toast Crunch topping, so good! Baileys fudge was great, even better with fudge on top. Owner was cool to talk to! Our friends were very happy with their house made waffle cones. Must try if you are in the area, or out for an ice cream adventure. read more

Wonderful gourmet ice cream shop. Don't be fooled by the parking lot, it's terrific inside. Cute decor, very clean, friendly service. The ice cream was frozen to a terrific consistency (not soft) and the flavors were fabulous. Lots of interesting flavors which change regularly. Peppermint mocha was creamy with just the right amount of mint (not overwhelming). Will definitely be coming here regularly! read more

The owner Of mighty moo on the 111th and Youngtown, of all people is rude and snotty and has a condescending attitude. I don't know about anybody else but when I go somewhere to pay enormously big prices on something that's usually cheaper, I want to be treated With respect.. The manager of mighty moo, the guy was very rude to me and treated me like I was a child when I asked to talk to the manager he looked at me all cocky and said "I am the manager"! read more

Wow. What say besides AMAZING!!! After our first visit we went twice more in a week. I still dream about this ice cream. They offer huge samples of anything you would like to taste. Salted Caramel with pecans was delicious. Also tried the count cream pie. Husband had a banana hot fudge shake the second visit and said it was a winner also. Mighty Moo has the best homemade ice cream this side of the Valley. The owners are very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and kid friendly. This is a great place to bring a date, friends or your family. You can try samples of all the flavors before making the tough choice of which flavor or flavors you want. I have a wheat allergy. We tried Mighty Moo for the first time today & I definitely plan on returning! I appreciate that their menu shows which items contain gluten. Came for the gluten free cones, stayed for the cherry walnut ice cream. My sister got a scoop of chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips - she was bummed that they didn't have chocolate chip ice cream, but enjoyed this option too. My dad got coconut chocolate chip and liked it! My fiancé got a reverse root beer float - it was root beer flavored ice cream with cream soda. The root beer ice cream was so good! I enjoyed my ice cream and was pleased with the texture and taste of the gluten free cones, which is awesome because gluten free things can be hit or miss. I haven't had an ice cream cone since my allergy diagnosis, so that was super nice! Definitely plan on coming back. Please bring back the chocolate chip ice cream and I would love to have a raspberry sorbet option. Yum! read more

I've lived in AZ my entire life and just recently found this place. All homemade ice cream and it is so yummy. They are so creative with their flavors!! Like they have this hot Cheeto flavor, horchata (this one is my favorite), and I think they have like this blood orange or ruby something- it is so good. Their customer service is really nice too. I have been wanting to try this place for a while and I'm glad we finally did. I love that they offer multiple dairy free/vegan ice cream flavors in addition to a ton of regular ice cream flavors. My kids were shocked and thrilled that they also offer gluten free cones as an option. I found it very helpful that their menu clearly marks what is gluten free and what isnt as well as what is what is dairy free and what isn't. My kids got 2 scoops each and they were pretty large scoops. The kids cup was perfect and came with a mini cone in it. The prices are very reasonable and the customer service was fantastic. The man behind the counter was so kind to let my kids and I sample multiple flavors. We will be back! read more

This place is awesome. Great service, great flavors, super find. We have been here a few times and cannot think of a better ice cream place in the west valley and easily top three in all of Phoenix. This is locally owned and family friendly. The guys that run it are super friendly and good at their job. There are really good flavors and they change them up frequently. A bit far from me, I am in Tolleson, but we'll worth the drive. I would share pictures of our other purchases because we inhaled them! My boys got an oreo milkshake and a cookie dough milkshake. I got a Wookiee! All were delicious because I tasted all of them. They are even making sure people are safe during COVID. Established in 2004.

Mighty Moo Ice Cream was founded in 2004 by a Phoenix Police Officer. He created the company as a way to fund his wife's passion of creating children's toys. He initially built a soft serve ice cream truck by hand, but the day before it was to have a final inspection by the Health Department, he was shot and killed in the line of duty. Now 10 years after his tragic death, Mighty Moo Ice Cream has become a reality. We have moved away from soft serve and now create our own delicious flavors of hard scooped ice cream. We make our ice cream by hand every day, with love, passion and a commitment to quality and taste.

She informed me that the cookies could be baked at 350 degrees for 40 sec (yay for toaster ovens). I took them home later and heated up one of the cookies: cookies & cream flavored. It was good; crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, just how I like it. I also tried their sugar cookie and glazed donut and both were tasty. Most of the drinks are not very good, especially for how overpriced everything is. I have recommended this place to others, and they have said the same thing. Many of them chose not to return. The biggest issue is the service. It is consistently unprofessional. There have been times where I was the only person waiting, and it still took a long time just to order because the worker stayed in the back and only came out when he felt like it. On multiple visits, the worker has also sighed heavily, taken a deep breath, and rolled his eyes while I was ordering, even when the order was simple. Other people I know have experienced the same thing. It creates an uncomfortable environment and makes customers feel like an inconvenience just for ordering. The wait times are excessive. It can take up to 30 minutes just to place an order and close to an hour to receive a drink. Having only one person running the shop is clearly not working. At this point, the pricing, service, and wait times do not match the experience being provided. After multiple visits, nothing has improved, and there is no reason to continue coming back.

Mighty Moo Ice Cream is amazing! Literally, the ice cream is amazing. But also, they are fantastic to hire for a large event. We had Mighty Moo serve ice cream at our wedding and we received so many compliments. We went with the middle package that includes ice cream scoops in addition to floats. Guests commented that they hadn't had a root beer float in over 20 years. Mighty Moo brings out the inner child/ice cream lover in everyone. The flavors are just fantastic and so customizable. We went to visit the shop while planning for the wedding and were just impressed with the sheer number of flavors. They were even willing to create custom flavors for our event and the owners are just so personable. In addition to several other great flavors, we had Haboob and Bourbon Caramel Praline. We live in San Francisco and have friends from the area at the wedding in Scottsdale who are asking if we can get Haboob shipped to the Bay Area on dry ice! If you really want to serve a unique dessert at your event, an affordable and awesome food vendor, or just want to have some good, homemade ice cream, hire Mighty Moo to cater your event or go visit the cute store location. read more

On our road trip home, my friend shared her ultimate fantasy, which would include a redhead and ice cream. Yelp pointed us in a direction which was not too far off the map, bringing us to everything we could have imagined and more. Much to our surprise, with giggles galore, we were greeted by a Ginger Goddess, sweet and full spunk. It's as if she read our minds, seeing our overwhelmed faces, wanting to try every flavor available, she was quick to deliver spoons of gold... Some deemed to be more climactic than others. Among the "ooos" and the "ahhhs" and a few deity loving, yet blasphemous, praises, the most fulfilling decisions were made. We each pranced out of this magical, mom-and-pop ice cream shop feeling more accomplished than a wizard holding the golden snitch and fantasies fulfilled, gender preferences aside and all! A good start to any business is great customer service and Mighty Moo exceeds that. From the instant you walk inside the door, all the workers greet you with a friendly upbeat smile and say "welcome in". Immediately, as you walk in, there is a glass beverage dispenser on the right-hand side containing water and cute cups that lay beside it, in case you are ever parched. That is wonderful service already because it shows that the staff cares for their customers well being. Following this, as you go up to the menu to decide what you want, a worker will usually ask if you want to sample any flavors. Obviously, they care about their customers satisfaction and want the customer to be happy with whatever they end up buying. Furthermore, the workers serve the order to your table because they want you to be comfortable as you wait. This shows that the stores workers are considerate, polite and strive to make it the best experience possible for their customers. read more

This is the cutest, most wonderful ice cream spot! The prices are just right, and it has a huge selection of flavors! There's the usual flavors, cookie dough and butter pecan, but they have some really odd ones too- buffalo wing W/ ranch swirl is currently on the menu. There's a small table for children and they have coloring books and crayons to help keep the little ones busy as well! Not normally a thing to think about, but in the bathroom they also have a toilet seat that can convert to a smaller seat for little kids, which is REALLY nice for a 2 year old! Wow this ice cream is amazing! Homemade ice cream made right on the truck. They not only carry your usual flavors, but they also rotate in specialty flavors such as Sweet Corn & Raspberry, Peanut Butter & Jelly or Maple & Bacon. They can be found in the evenings parked at the Surprise Park, and with prices starting at $3.00 for a single scoop. they are way cheaper than any other ice cream place I have found. I was greeted with a very rude voice telling me to get a number and wait outside. I guess he was more interested in entertaining the 2 gals inside than other customers.
