She loves pearls and wears almost exclusively Mignon Faget pieces so I was elated to finally get in and see their amazing jewelry in person. From the moment I started browsing their website to the time I entered the beautiful boutique, I KNEW I needed the Cool Mix Pearl Toggle Necklace and matching bracelent in my life. I always love a trip to Mignon Faget, and my last visit was no exception. I was shopping for a birthday gift for a friend and knew that etched bar ware was the way to go. The shop, even though in the mall, just feels like it's own space. It's beautiful, and their unique jewelry is perfectly displayed in cases around the store. In the back room you'll find the housewares and rings. Seriously, the bar ware is phenomenal. I've received it as gifts before, and been thrilled each and every time. You just can't go wrong. Ahh Mignon Faget! I have had a love affair with her pieces since I was in high school and couldn't afford it. Now that I'm an adult I have more than made up for it! Let's just say I went through some tough times and went to the magazine Street location so much they knew me by name and I felt comfortable enough asking to use their restroom. Any who, I am reviewing the lakeside location bc this is my to to spot. Lissette is my sales lady and she's fabulous! You know you shop somewhere too much when they write you handwritten notes to follow up on my purchases! I have even called ahead to make sure Lisette is working so that she gets my commission. :) I consider Mignon Faget pieces as a work of handcrafted art. Being a Taurus I like collecting beautiful things and Mignon Faget is one of them (turtle figurines is another thing but that's bc my best friend makes a turtle face and he collects turtle stuff too, bygones). Anywho each piece is either signed or stamped Mignon Faget so you know it's authentic. I would name all my pieces but it would take forever. Suffice it to say that I have almost every ring imaginable under $350 (my fav is the moonstone ring and the labradorite one which looks like it's lit from within), and the plain bracelet (looks like Tiffany's), the large charm bracelet with removable links (love it!), the chains c the fleur de Lis pendant, Paw charm (LSU alum!), the orb charm that looks like a cross ( good old catholic lady!). This location is conveniently located at Lakeside so tons of parking if you go during the week (I hate crowds so I never go on weekends unless it's urgent) and is located near the food court, around Steve Madden. And Don't think this is just for ladies because they have gentleman's jewelry (rings, cuff links (I'd spoil the man in my life with these if I had one! Hehe), belt buckles, keychains etc.). They also have home things (my ex and I had beautiful fleur de Lis glassware), baby stuff (my bestie bought the burp cloth for my goddaughter), Skagen watches (I'm a watch fanatic and have a small Skagen), purses etc. Plus if you're giving someone a gift they could look up the person who shops there and let you know what they already have and what size (are you listening future boyfriend in my life! Once again offered to help resolve a issue with their product in public, but then in private offer non existent customers service. Like literally no replies. MF truly appears to have great customer service, and to care about it's community/customers but it's a lie. I've received multiple DMs/emails from Mignon Faget with no help at all. Management/marketing have been nothing but rude. I will miss shopping at Mignon Faget. But the combo of awful customer service with faulty jewelry is too much. Smh read more

Mignon Faget is such a New Orleans staple if you love timeless pieces that are good in quality and affordable. My favorite is the Red Bean bracelet. I've actually been wearing this piece for years as an everyday piece. I eventually misplaced my original one (boohoo) and last December decided to purchase a new one for myself. Unfortunately, the clasp on my bracelet broke only after wearing it for a month. I brought it back to MF to have it fixed or replaced(which they normally do if it's available) - but I called every store including this Lakeside location, and they were sold out! So I decided to have it dropped off to be repaired. The generous reps helped me fill out my form and informed me that it'll be a couple of weeks before my item is repaired. Luckily for me, they called within just TWO business days to notify me that my clasp had been repaired. Yay!! I have always had such a great experience when going to Mignon Faget. I even had a client who had a hard time picking out bridesmaid gifts and suggested she check out MF. I can't wait to come back and check out other pieces here for myself and my loved ones! read more

They always have great service and are fast! I have alot of great pieces that I love from here including my fleur de lis heart pendant and bracelet. It is very dear to me. On the back it says "If ever I cease to love." Love all of their local inspired jewelry. I have had mine for over 10 years now. Their kitchenware is nice as well. read more

I just purchased one of Mignon's Animal Crackers - the Rabbit made of Rhodonite (AKA - a pink bunny). The staff was super helpful - never in a rush - respectful of me and my daughter. They wrapped of the necklace super nice - as it is a gift. I love shopping online but there is no substitute for trying things on to see how they look in person - sometimes. I think all of the Mignon Faget jewelry is still made in Louisiana - that always inspires me. Made in the USA!!! read more

So my beloved vertical hive necklace broke over the weekend. After crying about it for 2 days, decided to bring it to be repaired. I was told originally over the phone it would go back to production and get fixed. When I came in today, they decided to just exchange it for a new one. I am so excited, thrilled, and over the moon! I love Mignon Faget, but not so much for John Humphries! When I saw his bracelets years ago, I fell in love and ended up getting several (stainless, silver and gold covered). I wore the stainless and silve bracelets all of the time, and after about 1 year, they started to unravel. Sadly, Mignon Faget offered no replacement and might have fixed it if I shipped it back (not sure about that or the cost). I tried to get them fixed locally and it cost $40 per bracelet (total of $80). Then, I wore the "repaired" bracelets and they ended up not being fixed and began to unravel again. I never purchased one of the "bead" type John Humphries, hopefully they would last longer than the metal ones.
