This place is adorable. The selection of drinks and snacks is plentiful. I love being able to customize the drink to my liking (ice, sugar level, type of boba, etc). The service is excellent and I enjoyed speaking with Coco, who was very helpful and kind. My daughter and I also enjoyed sitting by the window and playing with the puzzles and connect 4 games available for customers while enjoying our beverages. She ordered the strawberry lemonade with mango boba and I ordered the traditional boba milk tea. They were both delicious and on the sweet side. It was a relaxing and enjoyable expereince. I've ordered Migoto boba drinks via doordash as well, and got the same great quality, consistency and packaging. Constantly texting, talking to that woman who sits by the window, just not with it. It makes for not the best experience. I so want this business to succeed, ESPECIALLY in New Canaan. One of the highest quality boba shops I've been to in CT! Premium ingredients, especially the grade of matcha that they use, no artificial flavors, and quite the variety. We really appreciated their selection of international snacks as well! The staff were kind and helped to walk customers through the menu. Yesterday my daughter and I stopped by Migoto Boba -- and it turned out to be such a lovely discovery. We ordered White chocolate and matcha, layered over ice -- a smooth, cozy blend that felt both rich and refreshing. We also tried Peach Mango Coconut with crystal boba -- light, fruity, and full of tropical vibes. We truly enjoyed our visit, not only because of the incredibly delicious drinks made with organic ingredients, but also because of the warm and genuine conversation with Coco, the owner. She is welcoming, kind, intelligent, and a genuinely interesting person who clearly loves people and what she does. Everything felt thoughtfully done -- from the balance of flavors to the presentation and the cozy atmosphere. It's one of those places where you immediately feel comfortable and want to come back. Made a quick stopover for boba tea and the fresh fruits used here in this place caught my attention. I had grapefruit fresh fruit tea with crystal boba and I tell you, it was not what I received. I don't know what boba world these guys live in but what I had is most certainly not boba made from tapioca. What they called crystal boba is really more like crystal jelly. The girl who made my drink took what I imagined was fresh grapefruit juice from the fridge, added tea and syrup to it and that's about it. You know, a slice of grapefruit would have been nice. On top of everything else, this is by far the most expensive boba drink I've ever had in my lifetime. $9.15 is what I paid. $9.15! For paying so much for a drink that is nowhere close to what a boba drink is, I am disgusted and upset. To the owner of this place, please don't advertise your products as boba when it's nowhere close to that. Boba is made of tapioca starch and your boba is my best guess, sugar, water and agar agar. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm too far away to return my drink, I would have 100% returned and get my money back. This is false advertising. For boba lovers, you have been warned. My 16 year old loves Boba and we decided to try this place because it was the closest to us and had good reviews. I think it must be new. Everything was very fresh (think paint) and new inside. It looked recently put together. I think it has potential but a few things would help I think. My daughter had very strong opinions about the place, so this review contains her views edited in with my own. Here are our suggestions: 1. it's painted a beautiful dark gray with white and gray quartzite floors and countertop. But for a boba place you kinda want more color to liven it up. It was too austere and formal. 2. Music would add some atmosphere. It was s i l e n t. 3. The menu was a bit confusing and we had no idea what to order. Photos of the drinks would have been helpful. Also, typography matters! (I'm a graphic designer so I notice these things) on one menu for the fruit slushies were listed all the fruits they used with large spacing between the fruits listed, so it looked like you could choose whatever fruit mix you wanted. However, that was not the case- they had specific fruit combinations- it's just that the spacing between the fruit names were too large, so they didn't look connected to one another. There was no list of what boba they offered, we had to ask and she said "tapioca or jellies"- there were 3 flavors of jellies, but when we ordered a fruit slushie, she didn't give us a flavor option. Evidently they come with specific flavor combinations? We later discovered that all 3 flavors of jellies were in the bottom of it. 4. The staff (of 1) made poor attempts at being friendly and helpful. With the lack of music, as well as said staff member silently staring at you waiting for your order, it made the whole experience awkward and uncomfortable. Upon asking a few questions, it was clear that "you get what's on the menu as it is and you can't change anything." Everything was a 3+ word flavor combination and every order was seemingly unalterable. This, on top of staff not even attempting to give details on the drinks, what was in them, or anything relating to the products whatsoever, the entire experience was made rather unpleasant. If the menu was laid out better and there were photos, we would have had an easier time ordering, When there is no music playing, dull colors, a difficult to read menu, and no "vibe" set, the staff will need to work harder to make coming here a half decent experience. $10.50 was kind of steep for a boba. But they did use visible fresh fruit and fancy, branded cups with lids. My daughter ordered a pineapple strawberry kiwi slushie and it came with jellies we couldn't tell the flavor of, but overall It was tasty. read more

We've been a few times and have loved everything we've tried! Delicious drinks, snacks, and candy. Easily the best boba we've ever had. So good in fact we forget to take photos of our selections before we've devoured them! Highlights so far include: four seasons green tea, strawberry watermelon fruit tea, and kiwi strawberry pineapple fresh fruit slushy with cheese cream. (Definitely try the cheese cream!) Kiddos new to boba usually love strawberry milk tea. If you're new to boba and feeling intimidated: their ingredients are freshly made versus artificial powders, so it's really a matter of picking your favorite fruit or tea flavors. The owner and staff are super sweet and helpful -- just ask them to help you pick your first drink! We're so lucky to have such a delicious boba spot right in town. read more

Have been searching for authentic boba in CT after living in nyc, this place wasn't bad. However, I think they tried to have more novel drinks rather than more classic boba options-- they didn't have crystal boba, lychee jelly, herbal jelly, sago, etc. They did have a good variety of milk tea options and adjustable sugar levels. Additionally, the only tapioca they had was brown sugar. Brown sugar boba is usually its own drink but here they put the syrup soaked tapioca in every drink, and it would be nice if they just had plain tapioca like most other places. Def just a little whitewashed, but will do in the literal boba desert that is CT. read more

I disagree with the reviewer that said ambiance is too austere. This is New Canaan, we love our white, gray, marble, quartz, a bunch of colors would not be calming on the eye. The asian snacks are great, the drinks are all delicious! If you don't like textures: get it without the boba, fruit chunks. The owner is super nice and the workers are great too, they can help make recommendations for first timers. With all that said, the menu is confusing unfortunately, it's not easy to read or digest, it's not easy to tell the differences between the flavor options or the styles of drinks like milk teas, boba teas, fruit teas, slushy fruit teas, cream cheese fruit teas. Get new menu boards that explain each category and each drink type with proper spacing for font. Create a pamphlet for people to look through. Also pictures in a booklet to look through would even help too. Add Thai iced tea option, that's a standard in milk boba teas that the menu seems to be missing. read more
