Tried to check in at the restaurant yesterday but the signal wasn't good inside. Just a quick late lunch. Server seemed overwhelmed as did the rest of the staff. Ordered some mixed drinks and they took way longer than they should have. Chips and salsa were great as always. Got the spinach mushroom avocado enchiladas. They are fantastic. I was sharing so we asked for an extra plate. The young man who brought the food tried to deliver it to the wrong table. Not sure why. We asked him for the extra plate as well. I've been here a couple times and I have always had the best experiences. Large or small groups they take care of you. No rush or pushy waiting staff and they know the menu. It's always nice when being served to make a connection with your guest and I feel very welcomed when coming here. Very clean and positive atmosphere. Clean restrooms that are decorated properly. The food is so good. Alway perfection when food comes out. Chips and salsa are delicious! there chicken tortilla soup is very tasty. Never have to ask for a refill, the staff is on point. Against my better judgment I agreed to dinner at Miguel's. We were visiting our son before his deployment and the outside patio sounded like a nice place to relax in the cool of the evening The patio was great. We sat for nearly 15 minutes before anyone came by to check on us. From that point on it was a waiting game. Waiting for water, waiting for food, etc. The chips are thin and crispy and the salsa respectable for Tex-Mex. The entrees were drowning in cheese. I order flautas appetizer and it came dripping in a sweet and sour chili sauce????? Yep, I rarely give bad reviews but this was just such a bad meal and for the prices.... skip it. Just had dinner here this evening. I tried the big chili rellenos . So very disappointed. There was not a double tablespoon of beef in it . So skimpy! It was fried so hard I had to use a knife to cut it. Worse thing I've ever had at Miguel's. I go there pretty often, because I like the twisted margarita. Bad meal tonight!! My husband and I started going here together not long ago, and we just love it. The food is freshly made, and it shows. We highly recommend the guacamole. Our favorite waitress is Elora. The last time I came here, Miguel's had just open their doors for the first time and I was not a fan. I figured after a couple years, I should give them another chance. I'm sure glad I did! They have a brand new menu that has changed a bunch with much more food options and more affordable options as well. Anyways, I got the Peppered Bacon, Agave Nectar, & Poblano Cheezy Crisp for my entree and let tell you, it was the best flatbread I have ever had! The agave nectar gave it a sweet flavor and really complimented the bacon on it. Also, this thing was huge! I couldn't eat it all and had to take a to-go box. The plate was less than $11 which was very nice as well. My father got the Chubby Chimichanga which has brisket, potatoes, onions, poblano, queso, and BBQ drizzle. I got a couple bites and it was very good as well. Very unique. Overall, I am highly satisfied. Their new menu is much much better and I'm glad I was able to give Miguel's a 2nd chance. If you weren't a fan of the original menu, consider giving them a second chance, you won't regret it! read more

So I have eaten here on the inside and had a great time. However I just now had takeout and it was the worst experience I've ever had. I ordered a burrito and I asked the lady if it had lettuce and tomato on the inside and she said yes. It was just beans, cheese, queso and carnitas. They did not wrap the burrito so it fell apart. They gave me no napkins and no plasticware. I was lucky to find a random spoon in my truck and I had to eat the burrito like soup. Miguel's never disappoints! I'm a creature of habit and get the chicken fajita nachos every time. I love that if they run out of something - say sliced (pickled) jalapeños that they immediately send someone to the store for more, instead of giving the crap excuse that they've run out like most places do. The customer service is always fantastic, the food is CONSISTENTLY good, drinks are tasty (and strong the several times I've ordered one) and the atmosphere and design of the restaurant is my favorite part. Let's start with the lime flavored salsa that gets more bitter as it sits. Not impressed. Is there any pepper in it? Wife ordered the fajitas(beef and pork carnitas) she wanted to spit it out but pulled through. Didn't finish them. I had the grandes tacos beef. They were ok. Taco Bell has better. Seriously they do. This place continues to disappoint. Casa Herrera was packed. As we headed to Monterrey House, we saw that Miguel's parking lot was empty. No wait! Let's stop. Seated immediately on the indoor patio, which we love. It took us 1 3/4 hours for 2 people to eat. Service was fast, kitchen was SLOW! Ordered my steak medium rare. When our food finally came out, steak was about medium well. I showed the waiter and he agreed. How do we fix this? He said"sorry" and walked away. Strike one. When we finished, we wanted dessert. Deep fried bread pudding! After waiting and waiting, he came to our table. Kitchen burned our dessert and they are making another. Strike two. When we finally got it, the bread pudding was delicious, but we both agreed we liked not fried better. Now we are done. The check arrives. He said we are so sorry for all the problems with your meal. We appreciate you being so nice about the long wait and the meal being less than great. And here is your full price check. Strike three. When restaurants offer to comp a meal, I ask them to comp our ice teas rather than a meal. I think that's fair to both parties. Not going to happen here. We have eaten here a few times and its been hit or miss. My wife's food is always great because she sticks with Camarones de Brochette. The shrimp brochette are 5 stars for sure. She also loves the jalepeno margaritas. If this was her review, it would be 5 stars. My experience has been different. I tried the chili relleno on the first trip and it was not good, so I would give it 1 star. On the next visit I tried the Honey Chipotle Salmon @ $17.95. This dish doesn't really work and tastes confused. You don't really have to do anything to Salmon for it to taste delicious as long as it's not overcooked, which was the case here. I would give it 3 stars. I've had a much tastier salmon at Logan's for $9.95 (lunch portion). It's a fun place to eat so I haven't given up that I'll find something I like there. . read more

This place is huge and got is in quick on a busy Friday evening. My whole family came in to town and we called and most places had 45-1hr wait time. I called Miguel's and they said about 45 minute wait time, but we checked in and not even 5 minutes later and they seated us. Very quick and awesome service! The wait staff is phenomenal. We have eaten at Miguel's several times now. We have found the wait staff to be friendly and helpful. One of the items my husband and I love is a good Quesadilla but we hadn't found a good place for them since moving here a year ago. On our recent trip we noticed that Miguel's has several on the menu and found we could order one without the green chili's which made it too hot for us. The Quesadilla was very good and exactly what we wanted. It comes with sour cream and Pico de gallo. We now have a place to get our favorite dish. Perhaps we'll try some of this other foods later but for now we're happy to be able to get a great Quesadilla. read more

Was craving some Mexican food and the reviews for this place seemed pretty good. First off the house margarita is amazing. Definitely worth it. Food wise I was happy with my chicken puffy taco, rice and Refried beans. I also had a chicken enchilada as part of my lunch special and while it was tasty I wish it had some spice to it.
