Came here for a too good to go order but saw they had smoked wings on the menu so I had to check those out. The too good to go order was two random sides. Small parking lot but love they have plenty of outdoor seating as well as seating on the inside. Can't wait to check out the outdoor seating in the summer. The young lady at the front was very welcoming and friendly as soon as I walked in. The ambiance is a southern down home type feel. Very relaxed, good music and gives the Texas vibe. Now - the star of the show: the food! Smoked wings 7/10: a little undercooked for my preference but nice smoke flavor. I did get the hot honey sauce on the side but not a fan of the flavor. Maybe I'll try these with the sauce next time because it may help add flavor to the wings. The ranch was homemade - which was good. Elote 8/10: this was really good and hard for me not to eat the entire thing! Great flavor and nice portion size. Baked beans 6/10: not my fav side and I'm used to slightly sweeter baked beans. These had a tart taste - not bad or sour just not sweet enough for me. I'd definitely come back and try the barbecue next time.

I feel like a stumbled upon a secret gem!!!! Hurtados has always been the Texas standard for TexMex BBQ, but I would pick this over Hurtados everyday. There is seating but it's very limited inside. Tons of picnic tables in the back for outdoor seating. Impressive menu, there are a variety of items to chose from, something for everyone from BBQ, to wings, to tacos to burgers. Another yelper mentioned not to skip out of the sides and I'm glad I took their advice. I had the brisket grilled cheese with a side of Mac and cheese. Husband went with two tacos and elote. My Mac and cheese was cream with a little spice. It was a very filling side and I loved it so much I prioritized finishing that over my sandwich. This is the kind of Mac and cheese you want to share with your family! Brisket grilled cheese was delicious and grilled perfectly. It was the perfect amount of cheese - not so much that it was greasy. Husband has the tacos and agreed that Mija's was better than Hurtados. We will be back!

Nice backyard to eat and chill. They have the smoker going.

We've been eyeing this place for a while. We hopped on their website and read about them and decided to give them a try. There's not much in Cedar Hill, although we are from the area we usually go to Dallas for a bite. Well, we're impressed and excited to have something this good! The Siegler family definitely has some great food! Service was good. The two gentlemen we encountered were friendly. My husband and I are pretty sure the owner was in the back cooking. LOVE! Very cute and cozy inside. The air was blasting nice and cool. My husband and I just wanted something small so we decided on the Chilaquiles (initially we thought they had migas but Chilaquiles are just as great!). We really didn't expect for the serving to be much, but the bowl was pretty loaded and satisfying. Impressive. They do not skimp out on the food. I ordered mine spicy and my husband ordered mild. The chile is very homemade and delicious. True to the spice! I want to add that I've never been to any restaurant where they ask "do you want your eggs over easy" and actually deliver over easy. My eggs were runny just how I love them! My only complaint is the the food was a little cool around the top BUT, I think it was from the AC. I didn't mind it as much because the food was just delicious. We'll be back with friends to try out other dishes. ;)

Definitely delicious food. Do not pass on the sides. Yes, the sides. Begin with the elotes, mac and cheese, charro beans and fries. I know, why come to a BBQ Tex-Mex for sides? Please enjoy all the meats. However, brisket and burnt ends were sold out each time my son and hubby have attempted to place an order. Let me simply add, their pecan pie is the best I have EVER eaten. Pecan pie is not a regular menu dessert. Unhappily spoken. Please bring the pecan pie back to the menu. Cookies? At a bbq restaurant? But the pecan pie, heavenly!

The guys working are very nice and the place is clean. The brisket and turkey I got was a lil dry like it was yesterday's meat. I should have known with the storm that it would prob be this way. All the food had good flavor the brisket needed a lot of sauce to be edible. Due to serving this to a customer I'll prob not be coming back.

3 1/2 stars. We were in the area and decided to try this place. I had, not pictured, the Cedar Hill taco. It had a nice kick. The salsa verde was delicious. The elote was meh. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich. He seemed to enjoy it. Small place, nice outdoor dining, but it was pouring. Limited parking, clean bathrooms.

This is a very small place to eat. The service was quick and helpful. I got the Dallas and cedar hill tacos with charro beans. I am in love with the Dallas taco. I could eat 5 of them. The Cedar Hill taco and beans were okay but not my cup of tea. But my baby loved the beans.

The pulled pork tacos and the corn were amazing! They also have a good brisket/elote dip.

I had the al pastor tacos and it was the best al pastor I have ever had in my life. Such a simple dish but performed so elegantly with refinement. We also ordered nachos as an appetizer and again, very beautiful display and all the flavors worked together to perform a symphony in my mouth. I wish i slowed down and took pics - sorry!

I stopped in because I was starving and needed lunch, sat at the bar, and when I say the service was 1000% on point, I truly mean it. I ordered my food to go and also got a drink to go, and while I was waiting, the bartender made me a small drink to enjoy at the bar. That was such a thoughtful touch. He also gave me chips and salsa and was extremely attentive and genuinely nice the entire time. I love good customer service, so I will absolutely rave about this place. The food was great, the service was top-tier, and they wrapped everything perfectly with plastic wrap for my to-go order 10 out of 10. Even though I'm not a big Mexican food eater, I will definitely be back just because of the service alone... and those grilled shrimp nachos . Also the ambience was so nice. they had the games playing so if you wanna go watch the game have some good food. This is the place and the drinks..... so good you only need one lol

Polish up on your Spanish I was most impressed with the complimentary chips w/3 types of salsa and small bowls of frijoles a la charra for each of us YUM the beans were D-lish! I like to try what hasn't been reviewed yet so I had the Pozole Rojo (red hominy soup w/pork meat & spices) Very big serving bowl with lots of broth w/plain crisp tostadas x3. The Menudo and the Pozole were definitely at least a level 3 spice for me (but I'ma wimp when it comes to spice). The menudo, same generous size bowl, was too spicy for Ma so we took it to-go for my dad. Bro ordered Enchiladas Verdes plate w/chicken.. again very generous portion w/4 enchiladas rice n beans. The green sauce was a little spicy as well for him. He only ate half. Grandson ordered beef asada quesadilla plate which he loved served with rice and beans. Granddaughter ordered 2 plain bean and cheese tostadas but expected cheddar cheese and not queso fresco... well, I gobbled those up for her too! To drink, sweet tea has free refills, the large Jamaica was tasty, and the kids opted for Jarritos. It was 84.99 for three adults and two kids. A little pricy in my opinion but I'd go again to try more menu entrees.

They have pretty healthy sized portions, and equally delicious... I was not able to finish my food, and my sons friend ate himself to sleep... LOL The food is super good, it reminds me more of California side Mexican food, not Tex-Mex... and that's what I like. My wife's fajitas were magical, and she was able to bring home a great sized snack for later with her leftovers. The place is a little older, and the building is not as new as some places you'll go... also, the bathrooms are a little older and look a little worn... but the food was awesome.
