Two of my neighbors recommended this place for car wash. Approximately 8 to 10 people were actually working on cleaning the exterior and interior of the car. It really looks beautiful. My biggest concern is I have black cloth seats in my Toyota Prius and my daughter's white dog spent a lot of time in the backseat. I have tried lint rollers and other vacuums to get those short hairs out of the seats and it has been impossible! The guys spent more than a half an hour on my car and vacuumed several times. They were able to get most of it up but there are some of it that just will not come out! Lesson, make sure you have seat covers where your dog is going to be sitting in the car. Short hair dogs leave their mark! As far as the job they did at the car wash, I definitely will come back. They were very thorough! Maybe next time the rest of those hairs will come up or at least more but at least they got the majority of them. read more

This place is a rip off. I was there and paid $52 only to find the car had many places that did not get cleaned. I have an SUV and the sides of the car were not cleaned as you pop the back at the top and sides was black and leaves and depress in the sides. My front window was cleaned inside on drivers side and not passenger side. I can write on that part. The biggest issue that I have with this ripoff place is the gal that was cleaning told me $5 more to do the trunk sides and black stuff at the top and I refused to pay more and she agreed to do it this time. Then this stupid Manager hispanic black haired idiot came pushed her away and tried to shut my trunk. He would not allow her to finish the job. When I got home I found more issues where it was not wiped properly. I would never ever go to this ridiculous over priced place for my car. I pics of all that they missed. Went today for a car wash Bc my car was dirty. Car wash attendants Finished washing the car and I looked at top of car prior to pulling out. The top of car Not cleaned at all. Showed it to mikael. He said they don't have a ladder to get to top of car. Lesson for car washes: Not just the sides of the car get dirty. The top does too. I drive a cayenne it's not that tall to actually see the top and actually do more than spray water. If that's all it needed, I could have done that for free at home. Lesson learned. There was still residue and dust everywhere throughout the car (normal residue/dust build up). I had to ask them to clean various parts of the vehicle after they mentioned my car was ready. I was using and pleased with Mikeal's for years until covid. They used covid as their reason to overnight double their price. Said there was extra expense to sanitize everything they use. Well, covid is in the review mirror but it STILL cost double to clean that rearview mirror. And since then, the quality has gone WAY down. On top of that every time I go in the price is different. It may be $50 or $52 or $54 before tip!!! They use dirty towels to clean the windows causing the glass to streak. The vacuuming is inconsistent with it's results. Consumers beware, these people care nothing about your vehicle just the money. I got charged a detailed price but not only was my initial problem still there, they discolored my vehicle's wrap. They know just to use water and soap. Well some kind of chemical sprayed over the vehicle leaving marks and they didn't care. In fact when I called someone over to discuss my concerns, a woman started laughing and speaking Spanish and told the other guy to walk over to me as if she wasn't going to deal with it. Just a strange nonchalant vibe there. Btw, the marks can not come out-it's permanent discoloration. I'm sure they'll get their karma as peoples vehicles are like their personal chariots. If I could I would give no star! Absolutely rip off!! $52 to JUST clean my suv inside and out! They told me they will wash the mats wipe all the inside clean windows and wash the outside of the car! It only took them 10 minutes!!! When they brought my car good thing I opened the back door first!! The doors weren't clean the seats weren't clean the mats were wet but not clean! The same thing with the front nothing was CLEAN! When I told them they said I have to pay extra for them to wipe the doors and the rest!!! We brought my son's car into Mikael's today. The attendant first wanted $250 because the car was too dirty, which was mostly pollen. He than said he could do it for $150. Both prices and reasoning were absurd and ridiculous. I thought car washes cleaned dirty cars. I do not need a car wash for a clean car. This has happened to me before about 18 months ago. This always seems to happen when Mikael is not on premises. This is definite price gouging as every car in spring is covered with pollen. read more

I went to Mikael's auto spa pull up and the guy said do you want interior exterior or just exterior I said interior and exterior that was 47 bucks When I got my car back I noticed the inside wasn't cleaned. I got an employee to come clean it. He proceeds to tell me that they clean the windows and vacuum the floors that's it. He goes to get the manager and the manager says well for 90 dollars more we can clean the inside. I said 90 dollars come on. I would think you would wipe the inside with a wet towel at the least. I feel taken advantage of feel like they could give a sh** The manager is rude he seems unhappy. I greeted him when I came in but he was still not inviting. I'll will never come back to Mikael's . I've been there before in the past few years but never again They should post the prices and specify what it entails. Used to come here ALL the time when I lived in sandy springs. Came up from midtown for a good car wash and got the worst service. Tried to charge me based on how dirty my car was.. $130. I responded saying that I usually did the under $50 wash and interior. They belittled me for "thinking" I could pay $50 for how dirty my car was. I'm surprised at all the 1 star reviews of this place. I looked for the nearest Car Wash in the area, and didn't both checking the reviews until after I got there. I was wary at first, but everything was fine. I got the exterior only car wash. That was $15. Even for an exterior only, they drive the car through the washer, dry it, and deliver the car for you. They don't have any other gimmicks that I saw. I couldn't find a menu. So I didn't know what services they offered. I don't know if they offered any types of coating or other services. I paid my $15 and waited for my car. If you wish to tip them, the cashier can give you cash. There is a bucket outside to put your tips in. They seemed to do a good job drying the car. After they finished, they drove it up to me. They seemed to be going on an honor system. He didn't look at my receipt, just assumed my car was mine. I don't know if that's a good idea. My car looked clean, and I was satisfied. I just wished they had a menu or something so I know what I want to pay for. They aren't bad, they just need to tighten up some things. read more

I have to give these guys five stars. I have been washing my cars here for a few months, and I must say they are pretty consistent. Cars come out nearly perfect. They don't miss. That includes delivering a spotless finish product in the interior and exterior. I used to stop all over town to wash my car at many different car washes and I've always encountered some kind of issue that needed me to attend to before driving off. Not here.. Highway robbery! I stopped by Mikael's today after I saw my other car wash place was closed for the day. They informed me that it would be $50 to do inside and out. My car was not cleaned properly!!! The windshield was still dirty, my passenger seat was scratched with the vacuum and a spots were on the driver seat, the outside of the car wasn't properly cleaned. I notified the manager, he sounded agitated and said he's never had any issues in the past which is a lie!!! AND now for the rest of the story! After picking up my car, my satellite antenna wasn't working. Mind you, it worked up until the detail. I went back to Mikael's Car wash to inform that my antenna wasn't working. As expected, the manager threw his hands up in the air and shrugged his shoulders. "They didn't do anything to damage the antenna". That's going to cost me $400 to repair/replace. I looked at my credit card receipt and observed that they charged me more than we agreed. Before a long road trip, I decided to have my car washed to ensure it was in top condition before the long ride. Unfortunately, what I walked away with was a damaged truck. As soon as I got back to the car after the wash, I immediately noticed a deep scratch in the decal and paint on my vehicle. To make matters worse, the owner and employees refused to own up to the obvious mistake. The owner even tried to state that he is an "expert witness" and knows when someone is lying. I guess that was his haphazard attempt at intimidating his customers? Scratching cars and trying to intimidate customers is not a good look for a car wash with so much competition around. You are better off with a garden hose and a bottle of dish soap than coming to this wash. At least then you won't come away with scratches on your car. read more

I would not recommend a car wash here. They did a hand wash for $25 on my Saab this morning and did a horrible job in the interior. I wish I had seen the vehicle before I tipped them five dollars inside. When I complained the guy looked at me like I was crazy. The area where you step up into the car wasn't wiped down, my console is still dirty. Apparently for $25 all you get is a slight vacuum of the vehicle and an exterior wash. This was the first time I tried this car wash. The old cactus car wash in Buckhead charges the same amount and does a fabulous job...which is where I will be returning! I would strongly suggest the owner tell his employees that when there is a complaint that they notify him or the manager versus letting people walk away. read more

OK...... so I need to vent. I'm a car guy like most of us and do what I can to keep them in pristine condition. So when I am in Atlanta I usually go to Mikael's Auto Spa. I have had good results with them in the past. So I get there yesterday around noon. I verify that they still use microfiber to dry off vehicle and request no brushes be used on the front. All is well...................until I see the guy drying the car off with a bath towel......ugggh! I approach the guy drying it off and ask him why isn't he using microfiber cloth, he says that this works fine and does a good job. At this time I guess the manager/owner walks up and ask what's wrong. I inform him that they are using a hard old bath towel to dry my vehicle. Then he goes on strongly telling me that this towel will not stratch paint and he has been doing this years, etc etc. I pull a microfiber out of my trunk and show him the difference. He says yeah we use them to wipe off wax and then points to a large bucket full microfiber right beside the car......Dude! Just use them then! He walks off with a slight attitude. My thing is if you tell the customer one thing just follow thru with it and instead of arguing with me about the towels just have your guy stop what he is doing and use a microfiber cloth. I've just been increasingly unhappy each visit and it's to the point I can no longer justify spending the money here. I'm very particular and clean in my car, so I get rather irritated when I get in it and it just doesn't look like the surface has been wiped. My mats were slung back in and not even straight. Please do NOT visit this car wash. I brought my car in yesterday to get washed on the outside only. I paid the $15 and just wandered around the store. After my car was washed, the employees started working on the detailing the inside. Keep in mind I was unaware of this at the time. I didn't think much of it until the rude guy who works the cash register demands I pay an extra $6 for them doing the inside. This rude cash register guy says because I "saw" them working the inside that I am obligated to pay for the extra $6.00 (i.e. the full-service). Normally, $6 is only $6 and the outside employees are very well deserving on their efforts. But I will not be bullied into paying more for something that was an oversight of the rude cash register guy. It's about the principle & not about the money. I reluctantly paid the $6 and told the rude cash register guy that he needs to be better at managing his employees and what services customers pay for. My husband was going to be entertaining important people for his job, and he's known as the "green" guy in the office, so we needed to clean the Prius. It was already almost 6pm, and now that we're off daylight savings, it was feeling pretty late. So we drove up Roswell Road looking for places. The first place that said car wash had already closed. So we ended up at Mikael's. You pay at the window and then drive around. We pulled up to the window and were offered washes for $7, $10, or $14. We opted for the $10 wash, which included the tires done by hand. The guy at the window was all business. But the guys actually helping you through the auto wash, wiping down your car, doing the tires, etc, were friendly. We didn't get the interiors done since the little one was in the back, and he's not a fan of vacuums. We'll be back. Five guys vacuumed & washed it in less than 15 minutes, while I sat in the AC & wrote this up. Service was prompt & they didn't try to up sale me on extras. No frills kinda-place but efficient. I could have run it through at the gas station for half the price but take pride in clean tire rims. All you do is pull up, tell him what you needs, wait inside & they drive it through the entire wash process. That simple. read more

I've been to Mikaels at least 350 times, no exaggeration whatsoever, every Saturday or Sunday afternoon for almost 7 years, only missing my car wash if it is raining or going to rain that same day. In the thousands of dollars I have spent with these guys I have never once, ever, even considered a complaint. The crew that does the hand wash is meticulous, detail-oriented, and efficient, and this is not by accident. Mikael is there managing and directing the guys almost every hour of every day and has built a successful business because of his attention to detail. I like the fact that Mikael is a "car guy" and understands the needs of people in the automotive community. What are the chances that I'll look underneath the rocker panels of my car, at a place you cannot possibly see without laying on the ground? Not very good, but it doesn't mean that his guys won't clean it, and clean it well. Worth noting, this is not a cheap car wash. This is a good and proper car wash. If you want a cheap wash, go and spend $4 at the do-it-yourself wash place a few blocks down the street and scratch up your car beyond repair. If you want it done right, it's going to cost you about $30+ but your car will be clean, scratch-free, and finished fast. All in all, this is a good, solid operation.
