After a good workout, it's nice to have the option to pick up a delicious and healthy meal. The menu offers a variety of options, including wraps, salads, juices, smoothies, and açaí bowls. All the dishes are made with fresh ingredients and taste amazing! The staff at Purlife are incredibly friendly and helpful. From the start, the trainer (I believe her name was Christina) made me feel uneasy as it being my first time to a new studio in the area. During the class, I felt left out and singled out at the same time. Then the weight bearing machines are also in front of the next set of windows, so my whole experience here is open, airy, and filled with light. -The music is not too loud. I can listen to my own music or audiobooks easily even with open earbuds. It is even possible to have conversations with real people or with earphones. -The music that is played is 'retro' - from the 90s I think - and I much prefer this over techno music. -The colors of the gym are soothing to the eye. They have billed me $73.83 for the year, $296 for personal training that won't happen as John is not here and $148.00 for an introductory Personal training 8 sessions that I have not finished as John was not there 2 times. Finally and this was the breaking point I texted to pause my account before going out of state (which is how I originally signed up). While I was away and not using the studio at all, I continued to receive repeated messages asking for payment. When I explained the situation, instead of helping resolve it, I was told I hadn't paused "properly" and was still expected to pay and continued to harass me for payment. The lack of communication, flexibility, and basic customer support throughout this experience has been really frustrating. I would have appreciated a more understanding and solution-oriented approach, especially as a paying member who tried to communicate proactively.
