Mia, Bill, and Libby are great instructors and I recommend going to their classes. The gym has plenty of new equipment. The treadmills and bikes are state-of-the-art and easy to use, and the weight training equipment is pretty new. The on site restaurant is very convenient. After a good workout, it's nice to have the option to pick up a delicious and healthy meal. The menu offers a variety of options, including wraps, salads, juices, smoothies, and açaí bowls. All the dishes are made with fresh ingredients and taste amazing! The staff at Purlife are incredibly friendly and helpful. This is an awesome facility and I truly enjoy spending time there. There's something for everyone no matter what your fitness goals are-- during my time as a member I've gone from "taking a break" from working out and doing a lot of yoga/relaxing and now currently getting back into a bodybuilding program. The gym offers a variety of equipment and I never have to improvise due to lack of equipment. I might be staying the obvious here, but if you are into powerlifting, I would probably go elsewhere. The cardio machines are brand new and really nice. The actual place itself is very clean. I feel totally comfortable showering in the locker room and they have everything you need- towels, body wash, lotion, razors, etc. The outdoor pool is really pretty and nice to relax at after a workout. Staff is super nice and helpful. I have yet to buy any food from the cafe but it looks good. Definitely some good options if you're in a bind or spending a long time there. I will gladly pay the extra $ to train in a clean and peaceful gym.

She informed guest passes are no longer allowed because theft at the gym was high and that the AC may not be working upstairs. I hadn't done any form of exercise in years and was in BAD shape. I was nervous to even go in let alone actually work out. That first class was with Coach Daniel and there was only 1 other guy there. It was an incredibly challenging workout... I almost puked. But Daniel was cool to me and made me feel welcome and I've always liked boxing as a sport so I signed up. As I continued to show up, I got to know all the coaches and some of the members and I started to feel a sense of community there. That was important to hold me accountable and keep me from quitting. Years later, I've fought in one of their Member Fight Nights, I look, feel, and carry myself completely different, and I'm still showing up. The whole team there is great, but extra shoutout to coach bam who has been my trainer for the past year and has helped me so much. In summary, this is a great well-maintained gym with beautiful equipment, accommodating class schedules, and knowledgeable coaching. But what stands out is how welcoming/approachable it is for people of all fitness levels, and the awesome community they've built!

Hooray for sunlight and seeing the outside world! I guess I had taken this for granted. The treadmills and stationary bikes sit against one section of these, and I can almost always snag a machine either against the window or just next to it. Then the weight bearing machines are also in front of the next set of windows, so my whole experience here is open, airy, and filled with light. -The music is not too loud. I can listen to my own music or audiobooks easily even with open earbuds. It is even possible to have conversations with real people or with earphones. -The music that is played is 'retro' - from the 90s I think - and I much prefer this over techno music. -The colors of the gym are soothing to the eye. Not gaudy or blaring. Still... fix the water fountain!

I really liked John as a personal trainer, he is wonderful, so I forgot about the manager and tried to exercise. Did not know i signed for 3 months with HIM and now he is leaving. I no longer want to be a member of this gym and I had been told I can cancel at any time. They have billed me $73.83 for the year, $296 for personal training that won't happen as John is not here and $148.00 for an introductory Personal training 8 sessions that I have not finished as John was not there 2 times. They need to care about their members not just about money.
