Not only do they not return emails and phone calls for weeks on end but Mike LOOMIS told me "you're lucky my guy came out last week". I'm lucky? I spent $33,000 on cabinets for my condo remodel, and am a repeat customer from 6 years ago when I remodeled my primary home and spent $40k. Then he hung on me when I said excuse me "I'm lucky?" Now he won't return my call or texts and my job is left at a stand still. LOOMIS cabinets may have been a good cabinet company years ago, but Mike is unprofessional, unorganized and should hang it up if he can't handle this buisness anymore. This company is subcontracted by my GC for installation of cabinets. There were some confusion regarding the placement of dishwasher while cabinets were installed by his staff. What I overheard on the convo between the owner (Mike) and his employee was unbelivable. Totally disrespectful as he was telling his employee to not talk with me and say "I don't speak English". The employee speaks good English and degrading your staff that way to avoid customer service and dialogue is pathetic. Mike was loud and I could hear him well. I would not give my business to this company who talk down on people whose first language is not English. read more

My contractor insisted I use these folks for the interior of my adu. They provide a decent enough product, I guess, but it's WAY overpriced when comparatively shopped. Months after installation, Mike Loomis, the owner, started hounding my wife on the phone and via email for payment on an invoice that he KNEW was being paid by the contractor. Mike is smarmy, unpleasant, AND uninformed. I wouldn't do business with him again, and I suggest you don't either. read more

Do not use this guy. He never visited the job site before the cabinets were manufactured. He changed the drawings from what we provided, rendering his cabinets unusable. The cabinets he delivered where much different from what we were shown at his showroom in Rancho Cordova. Very expensive and terrible experience. read more

I never got far enough with this company to see if their work is good. The showroom is nice and customer service seemed great. I left all my measurements and was told I would be getting a quote sent to my email. Never got an email. I tried to reach them by phone and email for three weeks. Finally Mike Loomis himself said he would handle the job since the lady wasn't doing good. And here another month has gone by and never heard back from him either. We love, love, love our new kitchen! Mike and his guys did an awesome job! It took us a few visits to the store, mulling around as we were not really sure what we wanted... or if we could even afford it after getting a bid from another cabinet company. We ran into a hiccup after ordering cabinets as our contractor had to have surgery and was no longer available to the work to get the kitchen ready for the cabinets (knocking down walls, new sub panel, tile, and replace windows etcetera. We panicked for a second but Mike said he works with George Markus and that we would be happy with his work. Relief! Everything is gorgeous...just like out of hgtv... From the custom vent hood and 1/4sawn grey cabinets...to all the extras like the European soft close fronts, the hidden pull out trash, floating shelves, nook bench to match...etc etc. We even had Mike match the cabinets in the family room (wet bar) We could not be happier! Our kids will soon be looking into getting their kitchen redone with Mike. read more

A nice lady in the show room answered All of my questions and even gave me some suggestions and ideas. Even though they did not have the exact piece that I was looking for the level Attentiveness was top-notch. I can't even begin to imagine how great they will treat you once you become a client. I called hoping I could get our cabinet door fixed after it split. I was not sure I could vice and glue myself! Mike was nice enough to tell me to come on in and he would fix it. I picked it up the next day and it looked perfect. I recommend just for honest guy doing good work. read more

My cabinets were installed 9/24/20 and there were several issues. They shortened the width of my laundry room cabinet due to someone's incorrect measurements but they forgot to cut down the shelf that went inside. The bottom kitchen corner cabinet door was installed backwards and a piece of the upper corner cabinet wasn't installed so there's an open hole where items will fall out onto the countertop. John came out on 12/16/20 to fix a few things and he noticed the missing kick plate in the laundry room and said the installer didn't do any paint touch ups so he ordered the touch up paint and said someone would be back when they had the missing pieces. I didn't receive any calls after the holidays to schedule for the additional repairs that were needed so I called and left 3 messages and and didn't receive any response so I sent 3 emails for Mike to discuss the problems that still needed to be fixed and didn't receive any response. I finally got Mike's cell number from the designer I worked with and I got a hold of him in April 2021 and he said he didn't respond to me because they were booked up until June and he didn't have anyone available to come do the repairs. It is now May 2022 (over a year later) and it's been crickets. I sent another email tonight so hopefully the problems will be corrected quickly before I have to seek other remedies for a resolution. read more

It all started okay. I was looking for a place to make a single replacement cabinet door for me to fill a gap from an old trash compactor I had removed. After calling 2 other places, Loomis Cabinets said they could sell me a single door, and not have to buy a whole kitchen's worth. I went into their shop and the young guy who helped us told us it would be about a week. 2 weeks later I called (4 times with 1 voice mail and 1 message to the secretary) to find they expected it would take another 2 weeks before they got it in. 2 weeks later, another 4 calls to get through only to find that their manufacture "lost" the order and they would need to submit it with a larger order, expected to be completed in 3 weeks (notice a trend yet?) All in all it took 9 weeks just to hear that "it wasn't worth his time and effort" to complete the order for me. They had my contact information and could have told me that 8 weeks before, but instead I am left with an ugly hole in my kitchen and a bitter taste in my mouth... Time to go find a cabinet shop with some customer service! read more

* WE ARE SOOOO HAPPY WE CHOSE LOOMIS CABINET SALES! * Fabulous customer service and amazing design vision to boot!!! I started my consultation with Hillary back in August of 2016. Our home had a kitchen that was closed off, and I wanted to remove the wall and create an open concept. Hillary took a look at it and suggested that her contractor, George come take a look at it. George went well beyond the call of duty and climbed into the attic to take a look at the trusses. He discovered that the wall could not be removed without some serious restructuring of the beams. I was ready to give up on the idea, but then Hillary came to the rescue with a GREAT SOLUTION!!! We were ready to go, but needed more cabinet space in a way that would not congest the open concept we wanted. ONCE AGAIN, Hillary had a great solution for that and we chose the design and ordered the cabinets. Hillary was very patient with us as we went back and forth on some design options (because she had too many wonderful suggestions!). We nailed down a design and the cabinets were ordered and came in without any issues...which is not common with remodel projects. The installation process was a complete joy, and I was in awe of Mike's cabinetry skills and his quick thinking to find solutions for some areas that had crooked walls and sloped ceiling. The install was done right, quick and looks fantastic!!! Mike even made a couple of trips back to install crown molding and under-cabinet molding because it was not ready for him at the time. Customer service is a big part of their business, and I was VERY IMPRESSED throughout the process. I found Loomis Cabinet after researching the Wellborn line. With so many other brands poorly reviewed for quality, Wellborn seemed to have a great track record and a good price point for semi custom. I could not be happier with the service I received from Jean. Our whole remodel project was extremely difficult, and she was always there to answer any questions, even if it didn't relate to cabinets directly. I asked her for so many design updates (I think we had 9 drafts!) and she was always quick and thorough with her changes. She never missed any details! Their installer, Michael was very detailed as well, his craftsmanship was amazing. We had debated on going with our GC for install vs. Loomis and I am so happy we choose Loomis to install. Not sure why they bother having a video of the showroom and a "Welcome to Our ShowRoom" Message on their Website. My Husband and I went down there today to inquire about a Bathroom remodel. We were met with a most UN-WELCOME receptionist that immediately let us know that it wouldn't be worth their time and or our Money in a Most negative way. A young woman came out and wrote up the specifications, said she would get back with an e-mail quote in a few days. Never heard from her again. I guess our job was to small. read more

We had new cabinets installed by Mike Loomis the week of 4/2/2018. After a lot of research we decided that we would get the most for our money by getting semi-custom (or modular) cabinets from a big U.S. cabinet manufacturer. We were highly impressed with the variety of brands Loomis carries. Jean spent a good hour showing us around explaining the differences in brands and choices and after telling her our budget we decided that Wellborn would be our best choice. Jean came to our house and measured, then drew up a plan for us. After some changes here and there we came up with a final plan. Jean was very professional, super attentive to our needs and very responsive. She nailed the design!!! The installation went perfect. Mike Loomis and his crew came out set up shop and began. The three of them were very meticulous and deliberate. It took about 2 1/2 days and when they were done Mike took notes of issues we found. It was hard to find any issue, it looked so perfect, especially the crown!!! We did find one minor issue with the install, which he came back in the next week and fixed. We didn't like the color of two of the doors as well. He told us that was no problem, they would order new doors, which they did and a few weeks later they came out of replaced them. I have to warn you about this company: They do not want your business. I called to schedule a consultation and they requested I come in. Only, THEY GAVE ME WRONG DIRECTIONS! I pointed that out when I arrived and they vehemently denied it. Fine. I scheduled a consult and then my daughter got sick, so I called to reschedule. The woman who answered the phone had no clue what I was talking about. She had no idea who I was scheduled with or what to do with my request to reschedule. I finally get my appointment rescheduled, and it is a no show. I called again and instead of an apology the consultant giggles and asks to "swing by later." We had an amazingly positive experience with this company. After our home was destroyed in a fire we added 150sq ft to our kitchen when rebuilding. Hillary kept us within our budget, while helping us design the kitchen of our dreams. Her honest opinions were crucial in the final product. I did not have a good experience and would not recommend. Mike ordered the wrong panels for many of my appliances and end panels and tried to match the paint to the color of the cabinets. The paint did not match, panels had the shadow line painted over (so it doesn't match style of cabinets) and now the paint is peeling. The cabinets were installed over the HVAC vents and Mike did not cut vent holes. Many mistakes were made with my order and Loomis cabinets did not work to correct. read more

We had been wanting to remodel our kitchen for some time but every company we went to could not work within our 50K budget. I stopped by their showroom to just look around when Jean asked if she could help me. I was a little rude at first and told her no, she can't help me because I don't have the $100k it apparently takes to remodel a small, modest kitchen. Rather than return my rude attitude, she said, "Well, why don't we just take a look and see what we can do?" I told her I only have $50k to spend and she said, "Let's just see what we can do." So she came out to the house, took some measurements - But most importantly - SHE LISTENED TO WHAT WE WANTED. And from there, she developed a plan and a proposal which was actually within our budget! And what can I say! It was great. Jean was totally awesome. She suggested a contractor, Mike, who was also great to work with. We took out kitchen down to the studs, gutted everything. We raised our dropped ceiling 6 inches to get rid of the 80's light box and had recessed light installed in the kitchen and dining area. We got all new cabinets and beautiful quartz countertops. All new Thermadore appliances - oven/microwave combo, range top (not cooktop), counter depth Viking fridge, had a gas line run so that our range top is gas, new sink, floor tile, and subway tile from the counter to the ceiling.
