I called On Point Flooring because the prior owners of my home had used them to input flooring throughout most of the house. We wanted to buy some extra flooring to update some areas throughout the house. When I called they were immediately able to look up the type of floor based on the address and helped me order some additional flooring. They submitted the order and called me within a few days to say that it had arrived at their warehouse. I scheduled a time for the pick up and the brought the flooring right out to me as soon as I arrived. They are incredibly helpful and responsive right up until installation. We thought this would be great, and at first thought it was. Once we began looking around we noticed nothing but finishing issues. The installers seemed to be budget at best, as they did sloppy rushed work, on top of being late. The baseboards were a mess, with mis matched paint, nails protruding, and hammer marks. The floors had a few spots where they were uneven, the carpets had paint on them from the baseboards, floors were dirty and had pencil markings etc. We pointed all of this out and thought they'd make it right. They sent a crew back to touch up the baseboards but they wereate again. Then once they did this, I asked them to leave the paint so I could touch up areas where we did not want to move furniture at that moment. I looked at the can and the paint was flat ceiling paint, but the baseboards were gloss... So all the "installers" did was put flat paint on gloss which looked even worse. Finally heard back from the owner who promised a resolution but after trying to pick a date that worked for everyone they stopped responding. Avoid this company if you can. read more

I initially asked for an estimate for hardwood floors and I wanted them to match the original floors that are in the living area. They were very honest about it being really hard to match the existing floors. They suggested just doing carpet, which was ok with me. It all started when Brian from On Point Flooring showed up exactly at the time we had discussed. He came along with Nick. They came with their trailer loaded with samples. While Brian started to measure the rooms to get the LVP (Luxury Vinyl Planks) wood flooring, Nick started to show us samples of the flooring. This was great as we could just put the samples on our own floor and check it out. Nick probably had his work out that day as he kept on bringing more and more samples back and forth from his truck. We selected our flooring. At this point we started discussing pricing. What I absolutely loved was not just their professionalism but honesty. They informed me that they cannot put the waterproof LVP we selected over our existing flooring as our floors were wood floors glued to the concrete. Having floating floors on top would not work because if water seeps in then it can potentially create a hazardous situation. They suggested the level of planks we should get for household use. Nothing too expensive but not the cheapest. somewhere in the middle of the road. Great quality but reasonable price. At that point I had already made a decision to hire these guys. They also came as a referral from a friend. Two days later came the proposal. This was amazing for me as I usually don't see proposals broken out like that. Everything from the cost of the floors and baseboards etc. to the labor costs for each tasks was clearly laid out. It was very detailed leaving nothing to doubt. Now that is what I call clarity and complete transparency. As a consumer who is making a HUGE investment in something like floors, that peace of mind was very important to me. Kudos guys!! We decided on a week the work was to be done. I paid the price for the planks as a deposit. Surprise surprise!! Brian and crew show up exactly on time that Monday and begin their work. Got to love that. Not many contractors I know are this professional and respectful of your time. The work was suppose to go on for the whole week but they were done much earlier. I was out of town that week and told Nick that I will come back and do a final walk before I pay the invoice. They were totally fine with that. Nice touch there too guys! Much appreciated. From start to finish fantastic service. After making a call on a Saturday afternoon over the New Years weekend, I had a call back within minutes and our salesperson Teresa was quoting the project within a few days. We had looked at others and had samples that we liked, but Teresa was knowledgeable and pointed out flaws that others hadn't, while showing similar samples that were less busy. She was able to do better than others had quoted and worked with us throughout the project as we made changes before the project was started. Teresa was able to accommodate every one of them. At the time of installation, Paul our installer, was fantastic. Anytime we had a concern about something, he would listen and provide feedback and resolve them throughout the project. The attention to detail, including demolition and grinding the concrete pad that Paul and his co-worker Tony did was amazing. At one time, before starting the project I thought about doing it myself but seeing the work they did it would have taken months. Another member of the team, Jack, even fixed a shaky sink that had been incorrectly installed many years ago. At almost 1400 sqft, they were done in less than a week with minimal dust cleanup afterwards. We are glad that we were referred to On Point Flooring and would recommend them to anyone! read more

So, I stumbled upon ON POINT FLOORING simply due to a flake company in Rancho Cordova whom I had set up a repair. After the RC company decided not to return my text, call or email about our scheduling a firm day and time; I gave up and luckily found On Point. Nick took returned my call promptly. He asked me to shoot him a picture, which I did. He had a price back to me within an hour. He emailed me a bid that evening as he was busy providing other bids. He communicated well. Nick indicated that they were swamped, but he could possibly squeeze me in should a job finish early. They completed a job early and arrived as agreed. Ethan arrived with all his gear and tools. Ethan was polite, diligent and clean. This was on a Saturday, so I appreciate the dedication to getting my job done so quickly. Ethan had a vacuum for all cutting, swept with a soft broom and vacummed again. Totally a clean and neat job and the flooring and baseboard looks like new. You can't tell there was a repair! Contacted On Point over the summer to install flooring in the main part of my home and was so impressed and pleased with their professionalism, work ethic and quality of work that I called to have carpeting installed the bedroom areas. After On Point had installed the flooring, I replaced all the doors and casings so I was extremely worried about them nicking and/or scratching anything while moving the furniture and bringing in the rolls of carpeting. Nick, the owner, express this to his crew and to my delight, Matt and John were the epitome of careful and conscientious to everything! They thoughtfully and carefully moved a couple antique pieces with care and there is not one scratch on any door or casing. Their name says it all - these guys are very on point with everything. They just replaced my 1980s carpet with SPC slats and it looks like a completely different house. Nick and Brian came to my house and put samples of slats all over the place and even let us keep one for a week so that we could match it with paint colors. The installers went above and beyond - they were friendly, professional and very respectful of my home while we were not there. They moved our furniture around so that we didn't have to move it in and out on a daily basis (the full install took 4 1/2 days) and even re-hung the jackets in my closet! None of my furniture was damaged in any way due to them being so careful and conscientious. They arrived at 8 am every day during the week and worked all day long to finish on schedule.
