I needed a Sunday delivery for my friend's birthday and I found several florist supposedly open. I called and left a message to a few businesses and all but Mikells called me back. I truly appreciate the professionalism. The other florist did not even gave me the time of day. I was calling on Saturday (day before the delivery). I told him my friend loves pink and he asked if pink and white will work. I told him yes. And he came out with this wonderful arrangement. I called from San Francisco and the whole transaction was pretty seamless. He sent me an email invoice and I paid online. I want to dock one star only because I am used to getting more flowers for the price I paid but then again, I don't know how far Texas is from flower farms. I know we have many in-state here in California, so that might be the difference. Our arrangement came with peonies, callas, roses, Ranunculus and hydrangeas. I added the star back due to the superb communications and customer support. I do love the flower selection and design. I was just underwhelmed on the volume. But it is still a beautiful design. Let's hope it lasts longer than the other arrangements my friend got. I will be using Mikells again for my flower needs in this area. read more

I can't recommend Mikells Florist enough! I'm actually jealous because he's not in Atlanta and I can't have them delivered to myself, but I have recommended him to all of my colleagues, associates, friends, family, enemies, strangers...EVERYBODY and anybody in the Frisco, TX area looking to brighten up their day or the day of a loved one. After a quick search for black-owned florists in the Dallas/Frisco area and perusing the Facebook page for quality of work, it was a no brainer! Well actually I called the number on Facebook to verify a few things (owner related) and ended up having a great conversation with Mikell. I was very interested in supporting small businesses and specifically black owned. I shared this with Mikell and he was humbled and elated. I shared with him what I was looking for (colors only because I don't know flowers particularly well) and the occasion-thanking a dear friend, and he took care of the rest! I've upgraded from the 1888Flowe...or whatever a long time ago. Local florist are the way to go! You will not get this quality at $29.99 so be prepared, but you don't have to break the bank. Mikells is worth every penny, and I thought the arrangement he created was worth more than I paid! I requested he send me a pic since I would not see them myself, and he obliged. Great florist!! I called Mikell's and the receptionist gave me a quote on the spot and said they could do same day delivery for no extra fee. I called around 1:00pm--that is pretty late in the florist world. I called 3 other florist in and the area and they either had to call me back, they cost more, and/or couldn't do same day delivery. I ordered a medium-sized arrangement for my mom in honor of her late mother / my grandmother's birthday in July of 2020. Markeye was incredibly detailed over the phone, asking what types of flowers to put in the arrangement and writing down all the small details for the card. I would not recommend use of this business. I made an order for Valentines Day - on the 13th. Knowing this was a short window, I carefully checked several businesses - this one indicated ability to deliver - and even gave a specific time window for delivery on the 14th. The delivery was not made, but instead was delivered late one day later - without asking if that was still desired. Clearly with this type of order, I would have liked to have had option to receive or not. Ok, fair is fair it's a busy holiday and order was not far in advance - but don't indicate you can do it if you can't; perhaps offer a discount for lateness; advise of lateness and be at least somewhat apologetic. I Reached out to the business (only at thier request for review) and relayed the story thinking something nice would offered (heck, even just nice words). Instead I got a condescending reply basically indicating I should know better and have a nice weekend. Business was quick to scoop in revenue on orders it knew it could not fill. Pitiful. Plenty of better customer service florists in this city - pick someone else ! read more
