I would have give 0 starts if I could. My mom had an accident and her car had some damage. When she took her car in they didn't even check it and told her it's totaled. She was upset and had to call her insurance to tell them to check her car . When she took it again it was the same, they took some pictures and totaled anyway she wanted a quote to fix her car. I had to have a mirror replaced on my truck, so my insurance agent, Barrie Sandy in Benecia with Farmers, said I should go to Mike's Auto Body in Fairfield, which is close to where I live. I was greeted immediately by Corey who gave me an estimate within 15 minutes. Prior to my service date, I asked Corey if I could come in early and wait for the installation rather than drop it off, rent a car and come back the following day. He said it would be ready within a couple hours of my appointment time at 7:00 that morning. I came equipped with a book to read, but 50 minutes later, he said it was done and I was on my way. I was sold on them immediately-super nice and compassionate...the follow-up was great too, as I couldn't get my car in right away. Took my 2009 Nissan Maxima here after getting into an accident. My insurance agent recommended me to this shop after my accident and got me an appointment same day. All the receptionists were very nice and helpful. They made filling out the paperwork very painless. They even scheduled me a rental car and called me when it was ready for pickup. Thumbs up to the receptionists for going out of their way for their customers. When you are ready to pick up your car from Mikes you can just leave the rental at Mikes which I thought was very convenient! Alex was my adjuster and after snapping a few pictures of the damage he was able to get a quote very quick and easy. He even called me EVERYDAY with an update on the car even though he did not have to. At first I thought it was weird but after everything it fanned out well. Haven't got a whole lot of experience with Auto Body shops, but someone backed into me in the parking lot at work. Other driver was insured by USAA, and they referred me to Mike's Auto Body. Staff at Mike's took care of all the paperwork and billing, so I didn't have to deal with any of the money. USAA paid Mike's directly. I was quoted 5-7 business days to complete the repairs. They were finished in four. Car looked great upon return, they even handled the little things like washing and vacuuming the car before I picked it up. Another perk...Mike's has an arrangement with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where you can return rental cars to Mike's instead of having to drive back to Enterprise and then get a ride back to the shop. Nice touch. I don't plan on needing auto body again anytime soon...but if I do...Mike's is the place. read more

Wish I lived here to make this my regular auto body shop! I've been in the area for 5 weeks, for training with my company. After a series of horrible experiences on this trip; the guard under my car was falling off! Everywhere I called previously wouldn't or couldn't help me, until I called here! They told me to bring it by in the morning, so in I come to drop it off. My car is in and out in 5 minutes. I know this was a simple fix and maybe dramatic, but I really needed this simplicity after everything that was happening to me! The fix was so easy, they didn't even charge me. Came in to get my car repaired after getting rear ended. Repairs took almost a month because they first ordered an after market part that didn't fit, then when buffing the paint they buffed through the paint and had to re paint a part, and then considered charging me storage fee for the vehicle while I was away on a business trip due to their delays. Just went in to jiffy lube to get my oil changed and they said the front skid plate is missing (which never was missing before). I called Mikes and they said they would have had no reason to take it off but would price out a new one for me. Crazy thing is I go to the same jiffy lube every time and they give me full report of my vehicle and the car has not been to any other auto body shop and somehow the skid plate grew legs and walked away. Also had to make a trip back to get my rim lock keys from them as the "forgot" to put them back. Crooks. Good thing I didn't get a flat on the side of the road. I would have been unable to get my tire changed. read more

After being rear ended while 40 weeks pregnant- coming to MIKES was a pleasant suprise. The shop gave us a quick (5minutes) estimate and set us up for repairs at our convenience. Our estimator Alex was AWESOME throughout the entire process. Originally, the work was supposed to take 2 days - but because the shop strives to make cars look like nothing ever happened- our repair took 4 days because Alex wanted it to look perfect. Because it took longer than expexted- the shop reimbursed us for a rental car that we had rented while the car was in the shop. Not only did they pay for the extension of the rental, but the shop sent an employee over to the rental car place to pick me and my newborn up and take me to my car at the shop. The employee even installed my car seat in her car for the ride over to the shop. It gets even better- upon arriving to the shop newborn in tow, my car looked amazing and everything had been settled with my insurance carrier. I never had to call my insurance company once to complete the repairs. And just as I thought I was finished, the clerk at the front counter (I think her name was Ashley) handed me a starbucks gift card. This place goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is completely satisfied and is made to feel like they are special. So, went for an estimate here because I use to go to previous owner of the auto body and because it is a State Farm approved place. James who did my estimate was fantastic and restored my faith in people doing the right thing and not just for the money. He looked at it and told me it had a few impressions in the bumper but he cleaned it up for me and I told him I was going to sell it soon so didn't really want to take the insurance hit. Okay something happened to our new car (that doesn't even have lic plates on it yet), I called my insurance company and told them I would be taking the car here. I talked to Missy who was nothing but professional, she helped me with all the paperwork and had my claim I'm the system so they could start work the same day. Hammid did an estimate, during the estimate I asked him if he could have the car done by Wednesday (this was Monday). He looked at me and could tell I was kind of in distress (I needed the car done before my other half got home from a business trip as this is his new baby and I have already totaled his other car) he understood the issue and said "No problem, I will do whatever it takes." I don't normally hug people I just meet but he got a big one from me. Hopefully I will never be in this spot again but if I am I will be back here. I had an accident so I took my car to mikes auto body. It was preferred by my insurance Farmers . I took it on 4-20-16 @ 4pm and got a rental from enterprise. Ok . So the next day 4-21-16 at 10:50am not even 24 hours after I dropped my car off I got the a dreadful phone call while I was at work that one of their employees was backing up and hit my car. So now my car damage to the back door , driver door, which both have to be replaced and quarter panel. They gave me an estimate of 3000.00. I took it to another shop and told me it was going to be way more. They wanted to fix it themselfs and not go through our insurances . And also without any compensation to me. I don't mean to be greedy but when your car suffers structural damage we don't consider it safe , especially me having 3 kids. They wanted to fix it themselves but we got the idea they were going to rush and not fix it correct since the cost is coming out of their pocket.. So now I have to go through another claim and Drive my car as is to get to work because I can't have a rental until my car is in a shop. And I have to wait for an adjuster to come look at my car and get an estimate (took about 5 days on my first claim). I really can't believe I have to go through this experience again. So I don't recommend this place at all. read more

Mikes is a recommended shop by State Farm and the reviews were good so I took our 2010 Lexus in to be repaired, the appraiser Lisa was great throughout but that's where the positives stop!! the estimate was for 11 days in the shop so we were pleased that on day 8 we got a call to pick up the vehicle! at first glance the bodywork was absolutely horrible!! very wavy! the paint was horrible!! orange peel worse than I have ever seen!! they charged 410 dollars for a rocker panel that wasn't replaced, they install a new step guard on the rear bumper that was so crooked that a blind person could do better!! there was two huge scratches on the car that weren't there when we dropped it and we had to wait while they buffed them out, the speaker in front vibrated when it didn't used to, there were dirty fingerprints all over the tan interior, there was a horrible blend line in the paint between the old and new paint. so what we did was complain to State Farm, we had to take the car back and instead of 8 days the first time it took 2 and a half weeks to get the car back!!! the second try is much better and passable but instead of fixing the front speaker they changed the settings so the sound came mostly from the back!! there is body panel glue on the bottom of the door and MORE dirty fingerprints besides gouging an interior trim piece that had to be ordered so a third trip is required!!! my suggestion is DONT go there!!!!!!!!!! bit if you do, check your vehicle very carefully!! magically the 410 dollar rocker molding that wasn't replaced was removed from the bill after I complained!!!! there is absolutely no attention to detail and the price is outrageous for Maaco quality work!!! I will NEVER go there again!!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
