In early June of 2026, at 106,500 miles, I was driving and had a check engine light come on, flashing (misfire) and had to stop driving the vehicle. I had a local mechanic look at it. Number 3 cylinder misfire. Installed new spark plugs, new coils and all new fuel injectors. Still same issue, number 3 cylinder misfire. Removed the valve cover to confirm a failed (collapsed) lifter. This requires an entire New Engine! Priced out at $8500 installed! My local RAM dealer will not perform repair because RAM techs say metal shavings/particles have run through the engine potentially damaging other internal parts. I have purchased 5 cars/trucks/SUV's from Lithia over the years. This has been by far the worst experience.

Upon inspection, the new mechanic was absolutely appalled by the amount of rust damage. Three boys auto tried to spray paint and cover up all this damage... The price tag on the check was a little over eight grand. The mechanic I took the truck to advised us not to purchase the truck and that the truck would definitely break down sooner than later. What a complete trash company trying to screw people over to make a sale. I'm going to educate everybody in Southern Oregon about this trash auto company. Not only did she have to put over $1000 into the car to keep in running in the first few weeks, they signed a form stating it would pass all emissions tests and it won't. When she called to ask them about this, she was told "It's your problem now, not ours" then hung up on her Her mechanic says it will take another $1000 to get the car to pass the emissions tests. This is a violation of Oregon DMV sales laws. They lied to her and violated state laws . Based on our experience with this business, we regret buying a car from them and will NEVER do it again.
