Called them on the phone and Zac K (service manager I think) assisted me. I told Zac my problem and he went right to work. Found all the parts my Tiguan might need and held them for me until I arrived from Klamath. One I arrived Zac greeted me and his team got to work. We were in the process of buying a truck from them. On Friday night, we negotiated a price and came to an agreement. I told them I would discuss it with my husband and let them know the next day. After talking it over, we agreed to purchase the truck and informed them that we would be there Sunday morning to complete the sale. The salesman, Jordan, was very kind and helpful throughout the process. He responded, "Okay, I'll be there after 10. Let's do this." When we arrived Sunday morning, Jordan had to come out and explain that management had added $2,000 to the price we had agreed on. For reference, this truck had been sitting on their lot for over 300 days. I have never experienced anything like this. When I called the manager, he told me they did not have to contact customers if they decided to change a price. I asked if that applied even after a deal had been made, and he said the agreement was only good for Friday. I then asked why that had never been explained to us as potential buyers. His response was essentially that he could do what he wanted. I was extremely upset and did call him a name, which I later apologized for. I felt like we were being treated as fools after making plans to come in and purchase the truck. The manager also claimed that I never contacted them after leaving Friday night and said the salesman was surprised to see us. However, I have text messages from Jordan saying he was looking forward to seeing us Sunday morning. After reading other reviews, I noticed that similar situations have happened to other customers as well. I will never do business with this dealership. I'm sharing my experience simply to warn others so they can protect themselves and avoid a similar situation.
