Wow! My catalytic converter was stolen twice in less than a year, and after this second incident, I'm so grateful I found Mike's Muffler. The first time it was stolen, I honestly wished we had come here first to have a catalytic converter shield installed. After the second theft, I reached out to Mike's Muffler and spoke with Marty on the phone. I probably called him about 10 times with all my questions and concerns because I was so stressed about getting it replaced. Marty was incredibly patient, gave me a fair quote, and educated us about the replacement catalytic converter. He never pressured us into choosing a specific option and completely understood that I needed to get my car taken care of as soon as possible. When I arrived at the shop with my tow truck driver, Marty immediately took care of my car. He sat me down and reassured me that the parts and paperwork should not cause any issues with the DMV or smog check. That was one of my biggest concerns, so hearing that definitely gave me some peace of mind. While I waited a few hours, everyone at Mike's Muffler worked together to get my car taken care of. Oscar, Jose, and Alejandro were all working as a team, and they got me in and out as quickly as possible. They even let me take pictures of the replacement and see the underside of my car, which I really appreciated. I called 3 separate times over the course of 3 weeks about replacement for my catalytic converter. I explained my situation and the person on the phone said they'd call me back about estimates. I never got the call back, and each time I MYSELF had to call, it was the same story. They'd write my phone number and say the same thing. It was the same person as well, I don't recall their name. This shop is terribly great!! Why? Because they are truly professional, and you can genuinely feel and see the teamwork among everyone there -- Jose and the whole staff included. The manager or co-owner (Mauda? Sorry if I got the name wrong) was incredibly friendly and kind. I had a small accident earlier today while backing up my car and hit some rocks. After that, the car lost power when accelerating, and the muffler became extremely noisy. I was worried it would become a major repair. They checked it and fixed it in about 10 minutes! What surprised me even more was how "horribly" honest and kind they were -- they DID NOT CHARGE me a single penny!! I drove 20+ miles to go to Mike's Muffler because it came highly recommended and I wanted to take my car to a good muffler shop. Simple as that. Marty greeted me when I walked in and let me know he was on call and that he would be right with me. Marty & the workers at Mike's are great, experienced, no BS and do great work. They found that one of my exhaust bolts backed out, damaging the gasket which resulted in the leak. They fixed the issue in less than 30 mins. EXCELLENT SERVICE & EXPERIENCE! My Infiniti Q50 exhaust pipes were misaligned. The left one was a lot lower than the right one. I also was hearing rattling noises. I asked around for quotes and some places were quoting me $95 - $190 for possibly 1 hour of work. The team here told me around $20 - $45 to put it back in place or to also possibly straighten out the bent pipe. They completed the job in less than 10 minutes and they did it for FREE.
