horrible service horrible food lately and mike tranh needs to be ashamed of himself unless honestly he cares not one bit how his service and food is because let me tell you i have been going to mikes for a very long time oh my gosh where do i begin i want to say his oldest child is about 21 or going to be she was four the same age as my child who is now 21 ok and when i say i am disgusted no you cant please everyone but when your loyal keyword loyal customers continue to give your business the benefit of the doubt and be stupid and keep coming back and its horrible service horrible food every time you go back yea you need to jus call it a lost and retire i am of course a regular at hwy 6 location (fresh catch when it had fresh fish by the front counter) yea anyway i dont even wanna talk about how i dont even wanna go to that location ever again yes very sad very embarrassing for a business owner who started out how mike did and has expanded is to why i said ok i want crawfish and i have only ever ate mikes seafood but i just cant continue to keep goin and how many times do i go and have to send my food back cus its cold n old n warm no its not ok all the time no so i said ok let me try cypress for my third time my first time at cypress not really good second time almost equivalent to hwy 6 this third time omg the worst beyond discusting now the irony i have not had fresh food from mikes since before he expanded his original building ok so we ordered crawfish side of fries boiled shrimp chicken wings the crawfish were so overcooked they were jus falling apart i never tasted nor saw them to be so watery no garlic flavor the chicken wings omg they have been such a bust so bad they have never been good since a long time but they are good only and when if they are fresh and cooked right well once again they looked so greasy so im like im not gonna send them back let me jus taste them horrible greasy soggy old grease so i told my daughter jus go back n tell them cus i was over it thinkin this is what i get for even wanting to give them anymore time or money so she takes them back and who she talks to is actually the manager that night i guess (2/21) so she told the manager she wanted them fried over and fresher oh my gosh we got them fried over and fresher alright they came back out in like 5 mins and we all know they were not made over and fresh in 5 minutes and we also know that when we had the first ones my daughter bit out of one and i kid you not they refried them yes refried the same wings we had and that my daughter bit off of oh yes i did let them know before i left n i also let them know about the food that day and only the fries were the best for the first time ever out of me getting fries and the $70 dollars we spent that night again you may wonder why keep going back well let me tell you that just honestlyshows my loyalty period end of story i dont need a pitty party for how things have been cus god protects me always mikes jus needs to hope his business is protected always being busy and all because trust mike hasca boss as well and lord forbid the bbb health department or all of the above does not shit the establishments down!!!! that is it that is all oh p.s when i told the other lady on duty that night i asked for who was the manager over the girl who was the manager that night and she said ruben i cant even say hopefully they take care of stuff managers owners wife whoever works and is in charge because every time i have had a complaint which was 80 percent out of 100 since the first times ever i have been handled the same way a dead end that is it period!!!!!!!!!!! i wont ever be back read more

This is my first time here and OMG so good. Customer service is excellent, the manager was super nice and helpful. Food came out super fast and it was soooooooo good. The prices are perfect and the drinks are the bomb. We got the daiquiris, oysters, catfish and shrimp. And they are also dog friendly in there patio. Let me just start by saying the service was great. The food was amazing! It came out hot, fresh, and in large amounts. Definitely great portions for the price. The wait was reasonable also. I would have given this place 5 stars, but the young lady behind the counter just needed to change her gloves. She went from answering the phone, to taking orders, to giving change, to scratching her hair, to packing food again with the same pair of gloves. Don't worry. I watched. Just a reminder. Had a safe and good time when I went for lunch. The restaurant was clean and the staff had made Covid preparation for their customers. I ordered their gumbo which was absolutely delicious and would order a large the next time I go. I also had to try their raw and char grilled oyster which was both amazingly delicious as well. Ordered food to go. Crawfish and potatoes were ordered with mild seasoning and no garlic. They both were loaded with so much garlic they had to be wiped off before eating. The crawfish appeared to have been cooked a very long time despite getting there about 10 minutes after I placed the order. They must have been sitting for quite some time and they were so mushy I could not eat them as they would not come out of the shells. Where to begin. I'm not sure what these reviews are talking about. Spent $100 (5lbs crawfish, 3lbs, oysters) for poorly made oysters, absolutely trash crawfish. I shouldn't be able to squish the crawfish with my fingers . The crawfish itself tastes like the water you'd purge the crawfish in. The "spicy" seasoning yeah not spicy. 0/10 don't recommend SAVE YOUR MONEY. I'm not one to leave bad reviews but this was absolutely not a pleasant crawfish place. read more

I have eaten from this location several times. I have tried grilled & fried fish/ shrimp, the portions are great as well as the taste. I love love love the Lime peppered wings. The shrimp fried rice is also the best that I have tasted in a long time. Oh & let's not forget those tasty Daquiries. The customer service is also great, which makes my visits even better! Mikes failed today ....have had good experiences previously but today I was given old over cooked or maybe even frozen crawfish. Almost all the crawfish I was given was mushy....soft shell just nasty in prime crawfish season . They have lost a long time customer. read more

I definitely had a horrible experience this past Saturday night. This was only my second time visiting. My first experience was so very pleasant that I even called back in to speak with the exact same person that took my order as he was the NICEST person that I've spoken with in a very long time. I wanted to tell him personally how amazed I was. My food was pretty good but I think I was sold on his customer service alone. So I decided to go back this past weekend, worst mistake ever. $95 gone completely down the drain. I ordered 2 seafood platters and a 2 piece catfish with fries and 2 daiquiris. While I did ask for a "little" extra garlic, the food was completely covered in garlic to the point where the actual platter wasn't visible and the garlic was literally stuck to everything. Overkill to say the least. The catfish was ok for my daughter. The fries were so hard that they weren't edible. There's no way the cook couldn't tell that before serving them. The shell was stuck to the shrimp on the platter and the mussels were severely over cooked. The eggs were good. The daiquiri was juice. I really hate that this was my experience because while I love to give second chances, this is a lot of money to spend and only eat 2 strips of catfish and 2 boiled eggs. read more

It wasn't easy for me to write this review because my husband and I have been driving back and forth from Katy to the OG location for years. I was ecstatic that the 2nd location opened near us. So I usually order the fried catfish and shrimp, but the last 3 times I've had it the shrimp has been tangy/spoiled tasting. I did call and speak to the manager the first time and he corrected it by frying up another batch. I picked it up and went back to work -spoiled again! I didn't call back. Thought it was a fluke and ordered it again the next week same issue. A month later my husband wanted popcorn shrimp and fish and the same spoiled/tangy taste again.
