The spouse felt for Jamaican food so he wanted to try this place out....about a 20 min drive not very far from us We got here and no one was here probably because it was closer to closing time... We ordered to go it took the food 45 minutes to come out! There was one family in the restaurant eating, one other person came to pickup and then us. The food was okay! It was very spicy with lots of white pepper, and for a large oxtail for $28 and a $13 small Jerk chicken Xtra for $5 plantains our total was $56 it was the driest oxtail and Jerk chicken we have ever had and we have had way better jamaican food! Who serves broccoli and cauliflower instead of cabbage with oxtail and Jerk chicken? Very disappointed. read more

Being Jamaican, Im always looking for a good authentic Yard food spot. My job takes me all over so when I saw this place I thought why not try it out. It's really really good! I now eat here average of once a week towards the end of my shift. I always bring food home as portions are good. I love the Brown Stew and Curry chicken and the Jerk is good too. Oxtails to go for my wife as well. Freshly squeezed juices here are also amazing. Thinking of going there now as I post this review! read more

Happened to drive past this place on my way from voting, I had never seen or heard of it, so I made a U-turn and decided to give it a try. I just ordered a beef patty to go along with the lunch I already had. The beef patty was good, wish it was a little more firm and flaky, but none the less the flavor was there. My wife and I stopped in for the grand opening today! She ordered the Ox tails, and I ordered the Jerk chicken. We also ordered some beef patties as an appetizer while we waited for our meals. I had never had a beef patty before, it's a pie crust pocket filled with seasoned beef. And it was so delicious. It's not spicy (maybe black pepper level) so if you're not into spicy foods this is an excellent item to try. My meal came with 2 pieces of jerk chicken and one piece of jerk pork (?!) Lol I honestly don't mind because I had a hard time deciding which of the two I wanted and I got to try both! All I have to say is wow the flavor was so amazing, both meats were phenomenal and the side of steamed cabbage was cooked to perfection. The meal came with jerk sauce which was a nice touch. I'd been craving Jamaican since there arent great options where I live, and this place was awesome. I had the oxtail and curry goat with rice, beans, cabbage and a spicy beef patty to finish off. I tried food at Daisy's a few weeks ago and it was absolutely delicious! I ordered two oxtail meals and one curry goat meal for myself and my family. Everyone enjoyed the food! So disappointed ! Terrible food and terrible attitude! Our food was cold and dry . We ordered Oxtails, Stew chicken and a beef Pattie. The beef patties was old and cold ! The oxtails were tough and dry ! I went in to ask for more gravy but was told they "packed up" for the day. Yet, people were still picking up food ! Rice & Peas were dry and cabbage was salty. Both plates were cold ... I informed them off all this and they completely disregarded and disagreed with me about food I JUST purchased . The lady's attitude was disgustingly rude and I was refused a refund. She stated she would give me a free beef Pattie "next time" as if I would EVER go back there again. I had to slow cook the oxtails more and make my own gravy at home ! My son threw his entire plate away . This is disappointing because I was excited to have Caribbean food near my home .
