    Fried rice

I love seafood and was excited to try this place on the recommendation of several of my coworkers. Unfortunately, I was not happy with my food. The fried rice was fine. It was suitable for what my daughter wanted at the time. But I was not happy with my seafood. I have requested a mild garlic butter because I don't like anything too spicy. However, upon receiving my food, it was so spicy that I couldn't enjoy it. I ended up leaving the majority of my seafood and everything else on my plate, but I had specifically asked for mild and they told me that they could make it happen. Maybe I'll try again with just the fried seafood, but I don't think I'll be going back for a boiled.

Went to Mikes Seafood today in Cypress... here's the review: I know it's too early to judge size... but these were tiny, not small but tiny, I left about a pound behind because of this. Again... I know it's not "in season" yet. Though, I've seen posts about better sizes, and I want you to be prepared. My picture doesn't show justice to the real size. The wait was crazy, they weren't that busy at all and we waited well over 30 minutes for all our food to come out. I had sampled an Ultra from draft and it was flat. I asked for Modelo and the girl at the register told me all the draft beer comes back as flat and its better to just buy bottled, which I did. They do have frozen drinks... I got a mix of two of them and it was great. My kids loved their Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders and fries, the portions on those were good. I wish the hushpuppies were labeled as Jalapeño hushpuppues, so you're aware. They weren't the sweet ones I was expecting. The staff was so polite. Overall... 5/10. The Mild/Garlic tasted a bit weird when you tried some of just the garlic. At $9.99 a pound... I wish the flavor would've been better at least

Did a pickup order for 3 pounds of shrimp and 2 eggs today and was disappointed to see how much shrimp came in the bag. This definitely doesn't look like the equivalent of 3 pounds of shrimp as when I dine in this looks about the same as a pound and a half of shrimp...food is always good but just disappointed with the to go order considering this was about $50 worth of food.

I ordered the grilled catfish with side of crawfish tail fried rice, As you can see you get a lot of food the fish looks well seasoned but it's not overly spicy at all in fact for my liking season needs to be added to it. The fried rice is good nothing to write home about I had to eat my meal with the sriracha sauce to give it some flavor for my liking. The service was great the lady at counter was friendly and answered all questions I had about the menu. It was slow at the time I was the only one in the restaurant and it was after 12 so it was quiet but very clean. I would like to try their boiled seafood items next so I will definitely return to try other selections on the menu. The food was not bad at all I just prefer a little more flavor.

Menu was huge and ran from salads to fried seafood with a lunch menu on the back. They had Abita Purple Haze so that makes the place much more legit. lol The bisque caught my eye as we all know I am sucker for a good bisque. It didn't disappoint. It was delicious and lots of delicious mudbugs. Wasn't really hungry enough for a platter of mudbugs so just tried the ceviche. To be honest I didn't remember what it was. Well it was larger than I expected and so I was unable to finish it. It was full of seafood. The sauce could have used some horseradish. All and all a good find. The service was excellent and the parking was ample.

Once we ordered our drinks which were good, same for the zucchini. Crawfish had the perfect flavor. Our waitress was friendly and attentive so that's always nice. When we went it wasn't busy. The dessert the cheesecake was good. We were told to get the bread pudding but we wanted chocolate cake. Even though it looked delicious it unfortunately was not. It only took one bite to realize it wasn't good. Husband said it had freezer burn. I took a small bite and it was hard. The flavor was like eating dirt it left this taste like when you open a fridge that's been closed for years and you get that smell from not being used and you can even taste it, it was like that. But hey 1 thing out of all the rest which was great won't keep us away. Maybe next time we will get the pudding LMFAO!

Came here on a Saturday with some friends, as we're touring Texas of BBQ and Crawfish. This was a…read moreCrawfish weekend for us, and has been on my list for quite some time. The reviews are really great for this place, so I had high hopes. Getting here was quite easy, parking was a bit full by the time we arrived, but we manged to all find spaces. You walk up to the trailer and place your order. They had a special going 5 lbs for $40, which I think was a pretty good deal. Comes with corn and potato, we opted for all corn, and then I added a sausage. You walk over to the tent, hand them your order card, and they hand it over to you. All the crawfish is seasoned in one flavor, and then you can just dipping options. We went with the garlic butter, and then tried the cajun mayo dip as well. The seating is great, they have covered and uncovered, and then an inside space. We went with a covered outdoor table, bc they were covered by trees, and it was a nice day out. We opened up our boxes, camera ate first, and then we dug in. The seasoning on the crawfish was perfect for me. Some would've liked it a bit more spicy, so if you like spicy, bring some hot sauce or a little ziplock with your fave spicy seafood seasoning. The sausage was really good too, had a nice snap to it. One of my friends said it had cheese in it, which I didn't notice until my last bite, when I got a biteful of melty cheese. That was a new one for me. Albeit a nice surpise, just wasn't expecting it, as I hadnt had that at a seafood boil before, more so of a bbq type of thing. There's also an area you can order drinks, sodas, and waters, and lots of big bins to throw your plates away. There's a bathroom on the inside, so if you need to go, or just wanna wash your hands. I hadn't been out to this area before too, so I wonder if they do live music. It was a great day to be outside, enjoy the weather and some crawfish. I'll be back fasho!

Made it here just in the nick of time before crawfish season was over. A current obsession of my…read morefriends and I is crawfish and we've been trying to try all the hot spots during the season. This place came highly recommended online so we made the drive all the way out to Tomball on a Sunday afternoon. Their hours vary so make sure and check the times before heading over. On this day they opened at 11. We came around noon and the place was popping. I don't know how to explain the general area. I feel like it's a few businesses on one plot of land. There's buildings and trailers to your left and right and not sure if they are all one entity. Han's is located at the back of the property in a little red trailer. You order at the trailer and then take your ticket to the side of the trailer where you hand over your ticket and get your food. There was very minimal staff interaction but they were friendly enough. The menu is very cut and dry. Crawfish and/or shrimp with minimal add ons and dipping sauces. It comes in one flavor basically which is a good ole Louisiana Cajun flavor. If you're a big fan of Viet Cajun style, this is not that. It almost looks unseasoned, but trust me, there is still flavor permeating throughout. Current prices are on a lower side compared to other popular spots. There is a minimum 2 pound limit and specials on 5 pounds. Shrimp is sold in 1/2 pound increments. Crawfish come with one corn and one potato. I got the minimum, plus 1/2 pound of headless, easy peel shrimp and added a sausage. Once you order, you walk a few feet to a team of people whom will put your order together. So basically there isn't a wait. If you want a drink, there are options at an outside bar and an inside barn bar. Seating is mostly outside with inside seating in the barn. Outside seating is mostly shaded and a perfect spot to set up shop when eating mud bugs. The crawfish was warm, but I like mine fresh out and steaming. So they are making big batches and plating is what I'm thinking. I liked the flavors alot. It had a light kick to it as is. I purchased a dry seasoning as well as garlic butter and combined it to make a delicious dipping sauce. To me, one of my favorite things was the sausage. I judge a place by that. The one offered here was delicious and had a nice cheesy, spicy bite to it. Han's is a long way from home but the drive here was worth it. I will definitely be making this a regular in my rotation during crawfish season.

I just ate the worst po-boy I've ever had at this place…read more I ordered a grilled fish po-boy combo with coleslaw. They got my order wrong - I got fried fish instead. I didn't want to wait for a remake, so I decided to eat it anyway. The fried fish was barely warm - it obviously wasn't made fresh. Who knows how long it had been sitting out under a half broken heat lamp. Here's hoping I don't get food poisoning. The French bread was soggy and cold, despite only having a sprinkled of wilted, discolored lettuce and, 3 shriveled little slices of tomato that were all still stuck together and packed into the center of the sandwich because the kitchen couldn't cut them properly. The coleslaw was abysmal. I kid you not, this coleslaw was 50% mayonnaise. It was so disgustingly goopy and thick with mayonnaise that I couldn't eat it. Their soda machine tastes off, too. Judging by the looks of the rest of the place it probably hasn't been cleaned in months. It also smelled like egg farts. I don't know if that's wafting in from the gas station that this kitchen is attached to, but it should have been the signal for me to pick somewhere else for lunch. I'm all for dingy little hole-in-the-wall restaurants, but this place is clearly nothing more than the last vestiges of what used to be a decent Cajun fast food chain. I don't expect Catfish Station to be in business for much longer - the people running the place are either incompetent or just don't give a damn about quality. Gross, nasty, food. My day is worse because I went here. If y'all want good Cajun fast food try The Catch on 1960 near Willowbrook Mall. Oh, I almost forgot. This is what I sat in front of while i ate my sandwich. They had some weird decorations up.

One of our favorites is the Alfredo with the trio (shrimp, sausage, and chicken). My husband is normally not a pasta fan at all, but he absolutely loves this dish and actually requests it. It's that good. He can easily eat two orders by himself, and sometimes ends up eating half of mine after finishing his. The garlic bread is also fantastic, and they always follow our order instructions perfectly. We've had nothing but great experiences here. Overall, we have no complaints at all--we love it and will definitely keep coming back.
