I had an awful experience with this shop and would not recommend them to anyone. I brought my car in to have the transmission rebuilt. The owner called me and said it was the worst possible scenario and would cost the highest price they charge. I trusted them and paid the full amount, hoping to have a reliable car again. The car drove once and then wouldn't start. When I called to report the issue, they immediately tried to blame me--saying it must have been something I did. It turned out the computer programming (which they outsourced to another company across the street) was done incorrectly. I had to pay out of pocket to tow my car back to them, and the owner refused to reimburse me, arguing with me the entire time. They kept my car for another full week. When I finally picked it up, it started--but the A/C no longer worked, even though it was working perfectly before. When I called, the owner dismissed it and said it was just a "coincidence" that it went out at the same time. Every time I brought up a concern, he backpedaled to avoid responsibility. Later, a mechanic inspected the A/C and said it looked like parts were broken--right around where they would have installed the battery. On top of that, the incorrect programming kept frying my battery, and I had to buy two replacements. When I got my car back the second time, the brackets for the battery weren't even reinstalled--they were just left on the floor of the car. The final straw was when I noticed greasy, oily handprints all over the inside roof and visor above the driver seat. When I called to ask about it, the owner responded sarcastically with: "You're upset about a little dirt inside the car?" He was incredibly rude, did poor-quality work, broke things, and refused to take accountability for any of it. To this day--five months later--my car still isn't fully repaired. It continues to have issues, but I'm too afraid to bring it back to them even though I have a warranty through their shop. That's how little trust I have in them now. I ended up having to take out a second loan and buy a new car because I had already paid everything I had to fix this one--and they left me with an unreliable mess. Car was running poorly when up in Prescott. Would not drive greater than 35 mph. They checked it and saw sensor issue. Were able to clear it and took it for a test drive. Hopefully was just a dirty sensor but their work allowed me to drive it back to Phoenix. They did not charge anything and got me on the road quickly. Thank you so much. I have to post this right away. My Dodge Pick up was making a funny sound and was vibrating when i stopped. I called and had my truck towed to Mike, it was the U joints, and drive shaft also had to be sent out to be balanced. He was FANTASTIC! I hope i don't need him again, but will not even consider taking my vehicle to anyone else. Mike is fantastic! My truck broke down on Rte 17 while traveling from Sedona to San Diego while towing a trailer. I also had my wife and 3 children in the truck. I called Mike from the side of the road and asked if he could help me out. Long story short, Mike did a complete diagnostic check on my truck as soon as we arrived at no charge. He determined there wasn't a problem with my truck's transmission and took the time to personally call another mechanic and asked if they could get me in that day (Rye Automotive....awesome guys). My poor Silverado, (Rose) transmission went south on a trip to Prescott. Stumbled into Mike's and talked about repairs, She wasn't getting back to Phoenix without major repairs. Anyone who knows me knows I don't like anybody else working on my cars. But stepping into the shop I felt good vibes from the clean and organized facility and friendly techs. We settled on repairs and extra work for much needed motor mounts. Mike even gave us a ride to the rental facility, when the rental guys, (Enterprise) would only travel 10 miles to pick up for a rental....Mike's is 11 miles away, not kidding! Having trouble shifting so I brought my car in. Mike gave me several different quotes. Once Mike found out I was in a tight spot and needed the car the repair cost jumper higher than anything he quoted me. I asked if I could buy a transmission with a warranty and have them install it and Mike said "no I already ordered the parts."
