They didn't have appointments available but they still squeezed me in and where able to give me an answer the next day and by the end of the week the parts to my car where ordered and by the following week we were back in AZ picking up my jeep. Everyone was extremely kind to us and made sure we felt safe and in good hands. After dropping off the pooch we started calling around the better rated shops and they were either full or unprofessional. We called Troy's and he was polite and accommodating and said "Bring it right down" so we did. We took a Lyft to breakfast and settled down to wait for the call. Well we got the call before we got the food and the diagnosis, reasonable quote and the news that since it was unfortunately the Friday of MLK weekend the parts wouldn't be available until Tuesday and he'd have it done Wednesday. Troy made no false promises, no bologna just the straight poop. How refreshing! We could see why his shop is rated so high. Unfortunately with a recovering pooch and a long weekend we decided to head back home and risk it. What did Troy do? Not only did they install a new torque converter for me, they fixed an oil leak that I had with the main seal for over 4 years!! Heli coiled my stripped transmission pan bolts! Now my car doesn't leak oil! I am so satisfide with the outcome of this project. Ive had the car back over a month now and I drove it to PHX and back on a light cruise and the car performed fantastically. They replaced the tie rods, and once done they gave me non-traditional quote for rear camdon work without a parts list or labor breakdown of $1,000. They would not do an alignment without that work being done. I took my car to another shop and they inspected the rear cam which was ok and performed the needed alignment for $130. Though they are very friendly and have the convenient ride home service, I won't be going back to them.

When I picked the vehicle up, I immediately noticed that the check-engine light was on and brought it to the staff's attention. I was told the technician had apparently seen the check-engine light when the vehicle was brought in and didn't notify anyone. Then nobody notified me about it before I picked the vehicle up. What frustrated me most was that I had no idea there was an issue until I got back into my vehicle. The paperwork states that the check-engine and ABS lights were "on prior to service," while also stating that both lights went off during their test drive. I asked for documentation of the diagnostic codes but was told they couldn't provide me with a printed report. My advice to anyone leaving a vehicle here: take a picture/video of your dashboard, including the warning lights and mileage, before handing over your keys. I wish I had done that.

Also I asked Brett if he could check A/C compressor thinking another big bill, I described what was up and he said sounds like electrical problem said he could diagnose for 1/2 hour labor called back said it was some thermal switch. I said go ahead and check it out, called back in no time said it indeed was the switch I said go ahead. Once again hundreds of dollars less than what I was expecting. Do a lot of my own stuff but being 76 there some I will pass on water pump being one, I will be back. Awesome customer service, Brett is excellent.
