When I tell you this place saved my life I mean it. My finance and I were on our way to Sedona from California when my Jeep broke down due to the transmission being done. We were miles away from home in the middle of the road and had to tow my car to the nearest transmission place, and thankfully it was this one. They didn't have appointments available but they still squeezed me in and where able to give me an answer the next day and by the end of the week the parts to my car where ordered and by the following week we were back in AZ picking up my jeep. Everyone was extremely kind to us and made sure we felt safe and in good hands. Honestly if my car ever has problems again I'm running straight back to PV to get it looked at because that's how amazing and good they were LOL. Finally after Prescott Valley transmissions mis-diagnosed my transmission problem, costing me $347 from them and $668 from another garage that put in a new ECM, which PV transmission said was the issue, it wasn't. I brought it to another Transmission shop and it was just a connection on the wiring harness. I found this out after bringing it back to PV transmission and they said I now needed a new transmission, which was BS, the new harness fixed the issue. They don't stand by their work, lie about their mistakes and lie about what they told me. The wife is very well versed in lying. These guys are a joke. The owners wife actually denied everything, stood by the new transmission lie and made up "notes" and quotes I never saw. I have the original bill with the work done, none of her "notes" are on the original invoice. Please save your self some money, go some where else. I have already steered a lot of friends and family away from their business. I will keep doing that as a public service. read more

A transmission shop in phoenix over filled my transmission and did not know they did. Leaking transmission fluid all over the place non stop made me think the transmission bellhousing seal was shot. I took my concern to pv transmissions and they got me in at a timely manner and on top of draining out the fluid to the correct level 3-4 qts drained. They did a full vehicle inspection down to the detail. Found that I have a bad LF wheelberring and quoted me for that. These guys are awesome. I accidentally drained all my transmission fluid trying to do an oil change. I called PV Transmissions and they had me in their bay within 30 minutes and helped me with everything I needed. They drained all the extra engine oil I had added and added the transmission fluids that I had drained. All said and done it took 20 - 30 minutes and they barely charged me anything. I was very impressed with these guys! I developed problems with the transmission on my large RV in the midst of a road trip and called Prescott Valley Transmission Service after being turned away by three other shops. They were very accommodating and told me to bring it in and they would see what they could do. They could not have been more helpful! They worked on it for several hours one day, allowed me to spend the night in my RV on their property while they had a part overnighted, and then worked on it for several more hours the following day. After all that they let me know they needed to refer me to another shop, which they did, and didn't end up charging me anything. I was very impressed by their honesty and genuine desire to help, and I would recommend them to anybody without reservations. read more

First of all the u-joints were not as bad as you are saying and you did not drive 30 miles to come and look at the transmission you lived 2 minutes away from me, so try again. And the transmission was not broke due to the u-joints it was broke due to your incompetent workes not installing the alignment pins after they took the transmission out to rebuild it and installing them when they put it back together, so try again and make it my fault that your work is very incompetent. And if your the mechanic you say or think you are then you would know bad u-joints will not break the bell housing on a tranny. As far as the warranty you told me that it transferred to me since I bought the car from the person that had the work done, so try again. And people need to know what type of work you do. You told me that you would let me know when you got the parts to fix the tranny after we talked on the phone 2years ago, Guess what you never called did you so your word is worth anything. You're not the mechanic that you say you so stop trying to blame the bell housing being broken on the u-joints cause that isn't why it broke in the first place. You set in my Garage and told me the person you had work on my tranny also did a school bus that had parts fall off of it and you fired him he even left the torque converter bolts on my tranny loose you had to have a flatbed come and get it so it could be fixed that time, right? If you don't like bad reviews then I guess you should either not have this or stand behind your work and do what you say you will do. If you would have fixed it like you said you were going to do when you came over and looked at it when you lived in Cordes, I could take you at your word, but since you didn't your word isn't worth a penny. Say what you will my wife and I know the truth and what you said in my garage.even if you deny it. I just hope that others don't have the same service as what you did on my transmission. read more

I recently needed transmission service on my vehicle so I began getting quotes. Some were in my opinion high. I had one place say they needed to look at it and it seemed I was bothering him to get a quote. Mind you this was simply a drain and fill no transmission problems. Terry at PV Transmission Service was nice enough to say he wanted to make sure my vehicle didn't need special fluid before he gave me the quote so he could be accurate. He said he would call me back in 15 minutes which took a little longer but he did call me back in a reasonable amount of time. I called back the next day and made an appointment to allow him to have the special fluid on hand and time so it would accommodate both of our schedules. Terry was very professional and my vehicle was taken within 5 minutes at most to perform service. After they serviced it, they did a road test to make sure there were no leaks. I really appreciated that extra attention to detail since I came from a town approx 30 miles away. I recommend this place if you are needing transmission service. Thanks Terry and team!
